Electric scooter - classified by Singapore Land Transport Authority as a Personal Mobility Device (PMD), had been in Singapore for around 4 - 5 years now. From the start of it, it was rare to see an e-scooter on the street. Till today, it had span an entire industry. Its popularity cannot be denied, however, coming with its popularity there are also much safety and social issues. Today, we are going to talk about the profileration of Personal Mobility Device in Singapore, regulation, the impact to the society, and some recent incident involving e-scooter.
