Realizing that their government has no interest in protecting them, two Texas combat veterans, Aaron Iversen and Tony Brooks, take it upon themselves to organize and train their neighbors to protect and defend their communities.
The principal question is this; will Brooks and Iversen have enough time to organize, train, and prepare the good guys before those who have sworn to destroy America can strike? Will their efforts be enough to protect their families and their neighbors from an enemy that has no mercy?
Blood Trail is the first in a series of Pipe Hitter Novels by Amazon Best-selling Author, Nicholas Orr. As he has so many times before, Mr. Orr will engage and entertain you and leave you wanting more.

When it comes to shooting pistol caliber carbines (PCC) the key to a smooth, comfortable, reliable shooting experience is managing the blowback from the gas. Over the years there have been many engineers and companies that have tried to tame the blowback lion with radial cuts, flywheels, toggles, vectors, rollers and more. Enter the Bearing Delay System by MEAN ARMS. MEAN Arms has developed a new innovative take on the 9mm delay blowback design using ball bearings. Lefty and David also talk about MEAN's Hybrid triggers, Hybrid handguards, ENDOMAGS and their new EXOMAGSThe heart of MEAN Arms Bearing Delay Upper Receiver is the unique ball bearing bolt carrier group (BCG). The ball bearings interface with corresponding features in the barrel extension and provide the lockup in battery and the delay after firing. The system can be tuned by replacing a "Lifter" to change the angle of the surfaces that push the bearings from the inside of the BCG. The bolt face includes a unique center ejector to provide the most consistent ejection of any 9mm AR on the market. With 3 bearings allowing 50% more contact surface area than a traditional roller delay. This means that even with the higher pressures of modern ammunition, the Bearing Delay system has greater durability than any roller delay.MEAN LLC is a manufacturer that specializes in custom firearm development and product innovation. SHEEP DOG IMPACT ASSISTANCE
Founded in 2010, Sheep Dog Impact Assistance (SDIA) is a national non-profit founded and headquartered in Rogers, Arkansas, that provides charitable services benefiting the overall well-being of our nation’s “Sheep Dogs” (Veterans, Law Enforcement, Fire & Rescue, and EMS personnel) through Get Off The Couch™ programming. SDIA exists to engage, assist and empower our nation’s heroes through Outdoor Adventures (physical activity), Warrior PATHH training (mental wellness) and Continued Service/Disaster Response (volunteerism) programs.
Our nation’s heroes have an innate desire to serve, and their service gives meaning and purpose to their lives. After an injury or shift/tour of duty ends, that meaning and purpose is often lost. Post-traumatic stress, injuries, depression, addiction, and isolation plague our Sheep Dogs to the point of thinking about and/or attempting suicide. Through our Get Off The Couch™ programming, Sheep Dogs who have suffered similar traumas & experiences gather together for camaraderie and opportunities to continue serving, which helps prevent suicides in our Veteran and First Responder communities.
Joining SDIA in opportunities for physical activities to foster camaraderie (Outdoor Adventures), peer-to-peer training to transform struggle into strength and posttraumatic growth (Warrior PATHH), and volunteer opportunities for continued service (Disaster Response), a Sheep Dogs’ innate desire to serve is again fulfilled. When Sheep Dogs #GetOffTheCouch together, their attitude and perspective are drastically improved, and many find healing and a renewed sense of purpose and belonging.

Gun Owners Of America (GOA) will be providing hands-on firearm training to school staff in Oklahoma, so they can legally carry firearms in the classroom and be the first line of defense for their students.
Even better, this training will be at no cost to the teachers and staff.
GOA is proud to partner with We the Female and State Representative Jay Steagall of Cloverleaf Precision to provide the firearm instruction.
Sign Up for the Training The training will be on January 7th and 8th and will take place at Cloverleaf Precision, LLC 415 East Main Street, Suite 6 Yukon, OK 73099. Welcome back to the Talking Lead AK KORNER presented by Century Arms! Joining Lefty this episode to talk about gas operated short stroke shotguns is Mike Whitesides and Lan Nguyen with Dissident Arms and Andrew with Century Arms. The first known AK style shotgun to be made was the Saiga-12 (based off the AK-47/AKM). Production started in 1997 by the Izhmash factory in Russia and then ,6 years later, by the Molot factory with their VEPR-12 shotgun (based of the RPK light machine gun). Relatively speaking, the AK Shotgun is a new firearm and the future is bright. Having a gas operated short stroke action gives the AK shogun advantages over your traditional inertia driven shotguns like the Benelli M4 . Less recoil and faster loading times are a couple that are discussed. However because Lan and Mike have such an deep grasp of these type of shotguns by converting and modifying hundreds of Saiga and Vepr-12 shotguns over the years they give us a unique and detailed breakdown on AK shotguns. Plus we make a big announcement for the next episode, the season 4 finale, of the AK KORNER.

In this episode of the Talking Lead Podcast we discuss the importance of an Armed Society. Doris Wise joins Lefty to discuss the message her organization Jews Can Shoot. We talk about the historical atrocities that have happened from governments that disarmed their citizens and compare similarities that are happening in America today.
Jews Can Shoot was formed in 2013 for the purpose of education and advocacy regarding gun laws, gun rights, legal precedent, and cause-related advocacy. Jews Can Shoot both educates and advocates for gun rights of all citizens, not just Jews. The power of the Second Amendment is that it lays the foundation for all Americans that self-defense is a natural human right. No government, anywhere in the world, should have the power to deny its citizens of the right of self-protection. Jews experienced the impact of such gun control during the Holocaust. Now is the time for both Jew and non-Jew in the United States to be proactive advocates for the Second Amendment.

As technology grows by leaps and bounds, daily, this design has stayed true to its original, for the most part. Enter Midwest Industries and Mad Pig Customs. MWI and MPC, while not changing the mechanical operations of the lever gun, have given new life to the lever gun by offering external features that have modernized the utility of this brilliantly designed rifle.
Troy Storch, CEO of Midwest Industries, developed a M-LOK hand guard that gives the ability to add optics, lights, hand stops, you name it. Steve Tyliszczak, owner of Mad Pig Customs, re-smiths the lever gun with MWI's hand guards along with a slew of other changes, including internal tuning, to craft a modern day "brush-gun" to rival all others. Specializing in Henry and Marlin lever rifles MPC will take your existing rifle and turn it into a survivalist's dream tool. Pete Pi with Defiant Munitions joins in on the conversation to lend his expertise on the ammunition side of things.

In this episode of the Talking Lead Podcast our guest is Glen Tate. Glen is an Attorney turned Author. During his time serving in a governmental roll, Glen realized, one day when noticing how fragile the United States supply chain is, that he needed to get better prepared for an inevitable collapse. We talk about Glen's book series, his own personal life-and-death obstacles he has faced over the past 2 years that have made his resolve to be prepared even more a priority.
The 299 Days ten-book novel series written by Glen Tate, is a about the collapse of the United States. The main character, Grant Matson, has a job that allows him to see what’s wrong with government. He realizes he needs to prepare for what’s coming and he does so. His wife, Lisa, is reluctant to prepare because she thinks things are just fine. When the civil unrest and political collapse hit in a dramatic way, it is undeniable that they need to leave their Olympia, Washington home and head to their cabin. Out at the cabin, a collection of amazing people assemble. They create their own community. There are no zombies or cannibalism; 299 Days describes a much more likely partial collapse scenario.

This episode of the Talking Lead AK Korner is presented by Century Arms. Our topic is the Czechoslovakian vz. 58 (some times wrongly called the "CZ-58" as CZ did manufacture them) or the 7,62 mm samopal vzor 58 ("7.62mm submachine gun model 1958"). Joining Lefty this episode are guests: Paul Markel, Student Of The Gun; Curtis Halstrom, VSO Gun Channel; Andrew Breneman, Century Arms.
Although the vz-58 externally looks very similar to the AK-47, it is it's own rifle and is nothing like the AK-47. Internally the vz-58 has a substantially different design that is based on a short-stroke gas piston. In fact, internally the vz-58 rifle has more in common with the Walther P38, Beretta 92, Brens, and Glocks than it does with an AK-47. No parts between the two rifles are interchangeable, not even the magazine. The vz-58 is smaller than the AK-47, the barrel (in non-US imported versions) is shorter and the width is narrower. The original furniture was made from a wood and Bakelite mixture known affectionately as "beaver-barf". Another feature the vz-58 has that the AK-47 does not is it's bolt hold open operation which allows the weapon to be reloaded from the top with striper clips without having to remove the magazine. Listen to the episode to get more interesting facts and opinions from the experts.

Did The Military Pick The Best Handgun For Our Troops? Welcome back to the Talking Lead Show episode TLP 204 Replay! This week Lefty delves into The XM17 Modular Handgun System (MHS) competition. The United States Army and United States Air Force competition for a new service pistol.
With so many complaints with the Beretta 92FS aka: M-9, after 2o years it was time to replace it with a more modern, more lethal, more modular handgun. For now, the M9’s replacement appears to be the Sig Sauer P320. Was the “best” handgun chosen? Was the MHS competition ended prematurely? Did the Government pick price over performance again? We discuss these questions and more in this episode of Talking Lead!
To help with the discussion we invited a qualified group of current and former Military servicemen to join in the discussion.

Nathan Love – Founder of Frontier Tactical: Nathan served in the U.S. Army as an infantry soldier for almost a decade. As an infantryman, he was deployed to Kosovo and Iraq. His combat in Iraq resulted in the award of a Purple Heart and numerous other citations, awards and badges (such as the Expert and Combat Infantryman Badges).
Upon his honorable discharge, he attended the Colorado School of Trades for Gunsmithing. His career path led him to contracting for the military. As a contractor, he deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan many times, over the course of seven years. He was recruited and deployed as a small arms repairer and inspector. The knowledge and experience he gained working closely with the military on their weapon systems in combat theaters proved invaluable in the creation of Frontier Tactical.
As a disabled veteran, Mr. Love makes the solid commitment to other veterans in his intent to provide training and employment for his peers. He recognizes that many companies have at best paid lip-service to veterans, and at worst have used veteran programs to their own advantage while circumventing any benefit to those who have served this nation.

10 years 400 episode of Leaducation with the Talking Lead Podcast! For this milestone episode we bring back "The Gun Lawyer" Derek DeBrosse with Munitions Law Group to help us understand what Biden's ATF new rules to determine what a"pistol brace" is . A list of new rules proposed by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) at the request of President Joe Biden would make most firearms with stabilizing pistol braces illegal. Owners would have to register, turn in, or disassemble the guns to avoid federal felony charges. One government estimate found as many as 40 million guns could be affected.
Lefty and Derek review these rules and discuss the ramifications. Take action now let the Government hear from you go here Factoring Criteria for Firearms With Attached “Stabilizing Braces” The guys also discuss the recent ruling by US District Judge Roger Benitez that overturned California's ban on assault weapons.

Lefty's special guest is Tom Alibrando with Israel Weapons Industries (IWI). Before we get into the world of Major Uziel "Uzi" Gal 's masterful submachine gun we first review the history of the submachine gun. Next we cover the history of the UZI and then we get into the differnt models and variants. Finally we answer all the listener questions and talk about some of the other firearms IWI is producing like the IWI MASADA 9mm polymer framed striker-fired pistol
I remember my first real recongnition of the UZI. It was 1981, I was 10 years old and the News was filled with coverage of the President Ronald Reagan assasination attempt. One of the secret service agents was waving this Battlestar Galactica looking gun around and I was more focused on it than the actual History that was unfolding in front of me. After that, I started noticing the UZI in more and more movies and TV shows. But it was the next year, 1982, when Hasbro dropped the GI Joe Real American Hero action figure line and it's iconic hero Snake Eyes with his UZI that my adoration for the UZI and firearms in general really started. The packaging artwork by Hector Garrido was so vivid and powerful that it kickstarted a child's imagination and it was off to the races.

In this episode of the Talking Lead Podcast we stick our toes in the theoretical waters of Agorism, natural law, human law and Liberty. Cohosting with Lefty this week is Brian with Occam Defense Solutions and we bring back "J" with The League Of Pirates to add his flavor to the topic.
Everyone has their own idea of how a society should exist. In ancient Greek cities, an agora was an open space serving as an assembly area and a place for commercial, civic, social, and religious activities. The goal of agorism is the agora. The society of the open marketplace as near to untainted by theft, assault, and fraud as can be humanly attained is as close to a free society as can be achieved. And a free society is the only one in which each and every one of us can satisfy his or her subjective values without crushing others' values by violence and coercion.— Samuel Edward Konkin III

True democracy is the tyranny of the majority. True democracy is mob rule. Thankfully, we do not live in a democracy. We live in a republic. Article IV Section 4, of the Constitution: “The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of government … ” And living in this republic means that every voice matters, majorities do not rule and those with the loudest voices do not automatically win. The will of the people means all of the people.

On Talking Lead this week: Our guests include Michael Sodini former President of Eagle Imports and Founder of Walk The Talk America (WTTA) and Sergeant Major Lance Nutt USMC (Retired) and Founder of Sheep Dog Impact Assistance (SDIA). With COVID 19 still prevalent and the uncertainty on when a vaccine will be available paired with the social divide caused by the protesting , rioting and looting across the Nation, our mental health is being stressed to the max. These two non-profit organizations exist to help both our citizens and our Nations protectors understand and manage good mental health stability and get people the help they need.
Walk The Talk America: (WTTA) Our goal is to raise awareness and create a change in the misunderstandings in regard to mental illness and firearms by bringing together industry leaders to reduce gun violence, negligence, suicide and the trauma created by these events. Develop programs for suicide prevention, firearms negligence, trauma mitigation, and child safety.
Sheep Dog Impact Assistance: (SDIA) exists to engage, assist and empower our nation’s “Sheep Dogs” (Veterans, Law Enforcement, Fire & Rescue, and EMS personnel) to #GetOffTheCouch and reengage in living an active, meaningful and productive life with a renewed sense of purpose. The US Department of Veterans Affairs states that more than 6,000 veterans die by suicide each year, and other statistics show that twice as many First Responders die by suicide than in the line of duty. Post-traumatic stress, injuries, depression, addiction, and isolation plague our Sheep Dogs to the point of thinking about and/or attempting suicide. By gathering together Sheep Dogs who have suffered similar traumas and experiences for an opportunity to continue serving, we strive to prevent suicides in our Veteran and First Responder communities.
