Our mission is to provide a platform for discussion amongst college-aged students, faculty, and administration in regards to current political and social issues in our lives, mainly as students on campus. We do so buy creating content, such as videos and podcasts, to encourage dialogue and give visibility to issues on Princeton University's campus, of which also translate to issues found in every campus worldwide, not just the Ivy League.
55% of the Princeton student body comprises of non-white students, with 9% of the campus population identifying as black (academic year 2018-19). In this podcast, we talk about what it's like to be a black undergraduate student at Princeton, delving into deep discussion and some hot takes. There is more to an application then your standardized test scores. In this week’s podcast, we cover how three students, each with their own unique perspective, got into Princeton. These students include: a student athlete from Georgia, a first gen low income student who grew up working in their parents restaurant, and an international student from the UK.
