Bryant and Me is back in your favorite podcast app.

In this episode, failing Bryant Caves misses because of dental work. That's ok because special guest to the stars Grant Dorsey from The Women's Sports Matter podcast fills in!

We go through all the big World Cup matches so far, up until Monday, July 24.

Listen to our thoughts on New Zealand's big win, who we're picking as our second teams and how we both besmirch the good name of the Philippines National Team and then they win between the time we're done recording and the show comes out...

That and a lot more.

I read a haiku about a listener and compliment a whole group of other listeners. Engage with us and we'll lift you up emotionally and spiritually.

We really do care for all of you listening. Take care of yourselves.

Ahoy! Chips, that is. We're back for another podcast of Bryant and Me: The Show that NEVER Misses a Week of New Episodes.

This episode is all #AskBAM related. We took all your beautiful questions, even Frank's, and centered our episode around them. There are some longer segments too about Jordan Henderson sacrificing morals, the madness in MLS that is Messi, licking the boot of team owners and more!

NOTE: We switched recording platforms back to Skype because everything else costs money. There's a noticeable audio quality change. Thanks for listening. Taking it back old school.

Welcome back to Bryant and Me, or we should say Justin and Me this time around because of Bryant "Doesn't Have The Time to Podcast" Caves is quiet quitting the show.

Justin Horneker from St. Louis Magazine, Talkin' Soccer, Equalizer and probably every other outlet covering soccer joins to talk about a whole slew of topics:

  • USWNT and Lindsey Horan cheating Ireland

  • Previewing KC v Chicago NWSL and how good a team the two sides could field of just injured players

  • LT from Red Stars Report returns with a discussion of Mal Swanson's injury, how Red Stars played on international duty, a tough exhibition against the Mexico National Team and previews this weekend's match between Chicago and KC

  • The Big Wheel of Women's World Cup Teams lands on a place that Justin despises with a fiery passion, equivalent to a thousand suns. Ok, it's not that bad

  • MLS, do we like the Leagues Cup?

  • Is St. Louis CITY the best expansion team that also includes all capital letters in their name ever?

  • Columbus Crew talk for a little bit and Bryant's visit to Ohio this weekend!

That and maybe more? Who knows, you'll have to find out huh?

If you didn't think our show could get any more white male, then we're going to blow your mind on this episode.

Returning guest Robbie Rogers, celebrity Gotham fan and fervent tweeter during the show, talks about the coaching changes at Gotham FC. Robbie also shares how many goals Gina Lewandowski will score, and there are A LOT. Also, Robbie goes off on Red Bull supporters that are angry at Gotham players for going to an NYCFC match. Burn ointment recommended for that segment.

Joining us for the first time is Mike Hudson aka Mike Slutson aka Mike Hudson Sucks aka Reverend Hudson Heat about his dual fandom between FC Cincy and the Columbus Crew. He walks through Friday's Crew Hell is Real victory and we talk at length about Caleb Porter and job security.

Enjoy the show. We enjoyed making it. Hope you enjoy listening.

Episode 55 has a different bearded sounding co-host than usual. Bryant is busy packing up so he can run away from all of his friends and life in Ohio. While he avoids real life bonds that have been cultivated over years, Thomas wanted to record. In his place, after a stringent background check and personality test, Tyler aka TK aka Drunken Crewzer joined the show!

We chat about the Crew's 3-0 slobberknocker of a loss at the hands of Monterrey. We also share some of your thoughts from the Twitter world. Yes, that means YOU!*

There's also a short interview portion where Tyler surprises Thomas with interview questions for HIM! It threw Thomas for a loop and you just have to listen to hear for yourself.

TK also gives a glimpse into the Columbus Eagles video production, brought to you by the Nordecke, for the 2021 WPSL outdoor season. We also chat about our thoughts around the Gotham FC rebrand/ritualistic burning in effigy of Sky Blue FC.

That and more on the next exciting episode of BRYANT AND ME! Now with 50% less original co-host!

*it does not mean you if you didn't reply to our Twitter post that we sent minutes before hitting the record button. Also, if you don't hear us say your name we didn't read it. That's how it works.

Episode 54 of Bryant and Me talks about the usual soccer and other things (other Podcasty things) but tonight was a little different.

It begins with the rise and fall of the Super League. It shifts into how easily we can ignore the morals of figures in sports for the sake of the sport itself.

We also discuss the verdicts for Derek Chauvin, and what happened in Columbus 15 minutes before the verdict was read.

It's a heavy episode, but we don't make the show so everyone likes it. Join us in our conversation online. Message us. Let's chat.

Hey there! In episode 53, we talk a lot but stay relatively on topic!

  • Exciting first four matches of the NWSL Challenge Cup

Thank you to Kealia and Danny for volunteering to be on the show, the Chicago Red Stars for not deleting our request for an interview and Chicago Local 134 for their support and vouching for us.

Welcome to episode 32!

We jump right into the Red Stars nervy victory over Utah Royal FC with our pals from Chicago Local 134: Chicago Red Stars supporter's group supernovas!  Oh yeah, we have an enormous announcement about some special Red Star player interviews this weeeeeeeeek!  We announce the players at the end of the show.

We wax poetically about Savannah McCaskill and Casey Short's goal and continue talk about Watt flying around the pitch.

Maggie and Lauren talk about the beginnings of the Pass it On campaign that took NWSL Challenge Cup social medias by storm, including impacting the play call and getting some of that awesome charity money every time the announcers said Sam Kerr.

They also share about how the coffee truck sponsoring began and how all the other SGs in the league are playing catchup.

We share who we want to play in the knockout round, as we recorded before the last match of the group stage.

Bryant and Me talk a little about Frederico Hiquain's DC debut, the Crew THRASHING of FC Cincy and talk about various Premier League happenings, including the North London Derby, pouring one out for Norwich City heading back to the Championship and Thomas didn't watch Liverpool this weekend because he was doing yard work....

Also, no one is shocked at Man City.

Thanks for listening!  We'll have a special interview episode in just a few days!  GET SOME!!

In a slightly later than usual episode of Bryant and Me, we have an episode chalk full of soccering talk:

  • We recap the Red Stars 0-0 draw against the Thorns and 1-0 shouldn't-have-been-a-loss against the North Carolina Courage.  We discuss how impressed we are with Kealia Watt's performances, Alyssa Naeher "I will break you" prematch photo face and Chicago Local 134 doing the lord's work by providing coffee for players at the NWSL Challenge Cup (not the magic underwear type known around Utah)

  • We discuss the Prem and the Battle Royale with cheese (because of the metric system) between Lloris and birthday boy Sonny and how Jose thinks its B-E-A-utiful.  We also have a hearty laugh about imagining what Jose would say in the MLS.

  • We discuss the scenario for Brian Lenoy's Norwich City FC to avoid relegation and who we'd want to go down: Wet Spam or Asston Villa.

  • We give our predictions for the first starting 11 of the MLS is Back for Crew v FC Fake Chili and our guesses for the outcome of the entire tournament winner and runner-up.

  • Bryant shares about his trip to SW Ohio and something that really grinds his gears.

Thank you for listening.  We love and care about you.  Engage with us on the internets.  That's why the internets is there: to engage with others.  We are others.  We love you, did we mention that?

We packed NWSL, EPL, Bundesliga, a little MLS and a good amount of singing into one episode.

Maggie and Lauren join us from Chicago Local 134 - one of the supporters groups for NWSL's Chicago Red Stars.  They discussed:

  • Retiring from soccer at an early age, to end on top

  • The match between Chicago and the Washington Spirit

  • How the club will transition away from Sam Kerr

  • They share their thoughts on the anthem headlines regarding not all players standing, and empathy for teammate Casey Short from her team

The interview with Maggie and Lauren starts right around the 50 minute mark!

Bryant and Me discuss the culmination of the Premier League title race, and Thomas shares his thoughts while Bryant does the play-by-play.

We talk about the unexpected leap frog in the Bundesliga and our fond farewell to the season.

We packed A LOT into a shorter episode (shorter by our standards at least).

Enjoy!  Tell a friend!  Rate our pod!  Go Red Stars!!

On this week's episode, we only have a few topics, but we had a lot to discuss:

  • NWSL Challenge Cup!  Our excitement for the tournament, disappointment at the situation in Orlando and announcing which team will get the BRYANT AND ME BUMP!!

  • The return of the Premier League!  We go through some highlights, and lowlights (Harry McGuire/Arsenal/LFC v Everton).

  • We spend a lot of time talking about how people spend a lot of time talking about Christian Pulisic

  • We dissect the "White Lives Matter Burnley" situation and how the game is changing for the better

  • Bundesliga is like a child to us, a child that we will NOT ignore.  So we give our quick Bundesliga update about Schalke and FC Union Berlin.  One team had a much better week than the other...

THANK YOU FOR LISTENING!  We reached over 1000 listens because of YOU!  Thank you so much!

We wouldn't call this episode a podcast episode. It's a SUPER podcast episode.

We are joined by Eric Neal from Two Rash Challenges: a Newcastle/Liverpool/MLS/US National Team podcast based out of Columbus Ohio. The other rash challenge failed everyone when he went to COVID 19 hot bed Charleston, South Carolina, to spend time at a wifi-less hellscape...

ANYWAY

We discuss the MLS is back tournament, mainly around should it happen in Orlando, Florida. Currently, Florida has had record breaking amounts of new coronavirus cases in the past week. Is MLS in a dire enough financial state that the tournament is required? Are the players safe? Is it fair to ask Disney employees or MLS players to stay quarantined for over a month? We talk about all of those things and also our predictions for what might actually happen on the field.

Eric talks about "Asterisk FC" aka Liverpool FC for their soon-to-be title win. Thomas points out that LFC have more points (82) than LCFC had in their title run of 2016 (81) and Thomas totally won the argument.

Bryant and Eric talk about where they see Newcastle and Tottenham ending their seasons and Thomas sits back confident that he'll soon get to buy Liverpool championship gear.

Steve and Comet also talk about their favorite Bundesliga squads! It was the most successful match weekend for the BAM hosts with Schalke earning a draw and FC Union Berlin getting closer to relegation safety with a win!!!

This episode is a lot. Pace yourself. Stay hydrated. Wear a mask when you leave your house.

Black Lives Matter. Humanity is not political. We continue to stand with everyone fighting against injustice.

Jeremy Hollon, Associate Director of Community Partnerships at CRIS joins the pod again.  This time, Jeremy discusses how CRIS has adapted their work for the COVID19 pandemic.

Jeremy shares the work CRIS is doing to continue to support those in our community who may have just moved here with no big support group, or may not even know the language.

We also discuss the return of the Premier League and what it means to Jeremy.

Outside of the interview, we discuss our feelings about protests and the murdering of George Floyd, and countless others.  We take the time to discuss our thoughts on player reactions on social media and the outward expressions on the pitch over the past week.

Your podcast app is not broken, this episode is under an hour.

We love you all.  Black Lives Matter.

On our latest episode, we discuss an initiative we have with CRIS Ohio!  We have some events and even special edition merchandise that'll benefit Community Refugee and Immigrant Services.  We give a lot more details on when things will be available, a special Zoom Bundesliga watch party and much more.  Watch our social media too for more info on all the initiatives being rolled out by CRIS and us.

On this episode, we've got quite a list of topics:

  • Does having no supporters in the stands impact some teams over others?

  • Why were we so bad at choosing winning Bundesliga teams?

  • German clubs Twitter game rivaling any other soccer league in the world

  • The return of Premier League training pitch videos and how much we love and miss them

  • Don Garber is NOT happy about the MLS return to soccer tournament info being leaked.  NOT AT ALL.  We discuss it.

We also play a new game that is sweeping the nation!  START BENCH TRANSFER!  It's like Have Relations/Marry/Kill but yeah, with athletes.

Thank you for listening.  Remember kids, peer pressure always works!

This week, we have what the podcasting world calls "a doozy."  We have extremely special guest Cheyenne Foster, or you may know her better as Between Clean Sheets.  She produces awesome soccer content through vlogs, short videos and regular ole social media awesomeness.  We also bring back a little bit of a normal podcast format:

  • We talk about how we chose our Bundesliga sides, and how Bryant's may or may not stick and Thomas may or may not have already purchased a jersey...

  • The K League apology is discussed, which may or may not involve sex dolls (it does)

The Between Clean Sheets interview starts right before the 30 minute mark.  Feel free to skip our shenanigans and go straight to the good stuff.  Cheyenne talks about:

  • Her work with Soccer City, in San Diego, with Landon Donovan

  • How she became a DC United supporter

  • Some of her favorite stadium experiences in MLS

  • Thomas sets Bryant up for failure by adding the wrong player name in the outline during our RAPID FIRE round of questions!

We had a lot of fun with this episode and we hope you do too.  We'll be back next week for a new episode!

  • The ACL Club

  • Her new podcast "Because We Said So"

This episode is a roller coaster.

We interview wrestling fan, podcaster and TV star Mike Kelleher from Legacy List with Matt Paxton.  We talk his garage sale expertise, the tough events in life that got him to where he's at today and Wrestlemania (Hulkamania may or may not run wild).

Bryant and Thomas also take some time out to discuss how they're feeling during all the madness that is the quarantine.  We throw all our thoughts and feelings out on the table.

Thank you for listening.  This episode helped us and hopefully it does the same for you.

Bryant and Me bring you Episode 22 - BRYANT O'STUMPED!

In this exciting new episode, we cover everything about sports, if by everything you mean the following:

  • The LFC and Tottenham Champions League exits

  • Impact of the coronavirus on Premier League postponement and the idea of Liverpool winning the league without playing all the matches

  • We grade how well 6 different sporting leagues or governing bodies handled the suspension of leagues and events

  • We discuss how we've been taking all of the current events

  • Thomas does his best to stump Bryant by seeing how well he knows his Irish actors

All that and more on BRYANT AND ME!

Join us this Saturday, at Endeavor, for the 1230 Tottenham/ManUre match to raise money for a Nashville charity, following the recent tornado going through the city.  We'll also have buttons and stickers for everyone who comes out and says hello.

This week's episode comes days after one half of the podcast could stay awake for the Seattle match,.  We break down what we thought of the match, talked about the penalty and subsequent penalty kicks.

We shortly discuss Justin Meram coming back to Columbus (again) to play against the Crew (again).

Thomas talks about two types of stories coming soon to Massive Report.

We discuss a little about VAR, Liverpool potentially winning the league without playing again and our thoughts on THFC and LFC making it to the next round of the Champions League.

Thank you for listening.  We love you.  We don't say that to everyone.  We mean it.

Guten tag.  Welcome back to Bryant and Me for our 20th episode!

We have a special episode because we have Norwich City fan and great human being Brian Lenoy on to talk the FA Cup tie between Tottenham and NCFC.

Brian also shares a story about his time with a Neo nazi supporter group in Harrison, NJ and his run in with a NYCFC supporter, during the Save The Crew efforts.  You won't want to miss it.

Bryant and Thomas breakdown the great feeling of having Crew soccer back: tailgating. seeing friends, getting a win, etc.

We call out Two Rash Challenges Podcast for general turdiness, and invite them on the show whenever they'd like to join us.

The show ends promptly from there and we don't discuss the Premier League at all, because there were no PL matches in the past two weeks.  Yep.  Not a single match......

OK OK OK we do talk about Liverpool and the end of days.

Thank you for listening.  We love you.  I mean it.

View Details

Don't you wish all of our episodes were this short?

We talk about how we felt during the tailgate, what we were drinking and more importantly: the Crew sponsor deal and DC United crap field.

We also have an impromptu special guest who may forget that he showed up to the podcast table.  Hazzah!

Bryant and Me brings you their last episode before Crewsmas weekend and we've got some Crew talkin to do.

We discuss the Crew messing with everyone's mind with their "significant business partnership announcement" tweet that was NOT what people expected it to be.  Even though it wasn't what people expected, it's still really freaking amazing.  We talk about the new training facility and what. it means for the club, young professional players and local youth soccer players.

Not having a sponsor on your kit when you first buy it in February is not indicative of the success of the Haslems and Edwards families.

Then we talk on-field Crew superlatives, who we think will standout and where we see the season ending.  Spoiler alert: the sky is the limit.

A former guest and current listener also sent us a great letter and gift.  We discuss the letter, Bryant shares about his gift and Thomas talks about his gift: our pen pal's son becoming a LIVERPOOL SUPPORTER!  ALLEZ ALLEZ ALLEEEEZ!!

Bryant and Thomas play PL catchup and discuss the recent form of Tottenham, Thomas putting his toes closer and closer to the cliff of Liverpool losing all form and then walking back with arrogance.  Thomas and Bryant have an actual disagreement too.  Gets heated with Bryant and his Tottenham complaining.

We are recording our next episode, on Sunday, at the Crewsmas tailgate.  We'll see you all out there!

Bryant and Me sits down with Massive Report writer, Ohio Dominican brand manager, Columbus Wired photographer, former Columbus Eagles announcer and pod couch aficionado Ralph Schudel!

Ralph breaks some news about the Crew kit sponsorship and an awesome soccer event: ODU Womens Soccer v. Columbus Eagles on March 28th, 630 PM, at the ODU field in Columbus, Ohio.

When Schudel wasn't breaking news, he was talking about his love of sports, all of his experience covering sports over the past two years and much more about his career in media.

In addition, Ralph talks about the upcoming Crew season.  He shares his pick for the best signing of the year (THE ANSWER WILL SURPRISE YOU) and discusses his thoughts for the upcoming season.  Does he think that the Crew are an early MLS Cup contender?  Listen and find out!

It's an all around awesome interview with one of the most involved people you'll see covering the Columbus Crew today.

You won't regret the time you put into this episode!  Thank you for listening.

Remember to stop by the Queen Annes Revenge tailgate on Crewsmas to get your free BAM SWAG: koozie, buttons and stickers.  Watch inside your koozie for a special prize.  You can win a QAR scarf, BAM SWAG pack and a $20 gift card to the CrewSC Shop at Mapfre Stadium.

Hello trusty BAM Army.  We enjoyed our international podcast break, and we hope you did too.

We're back with all that great soccer action.  We discuss the departure of #Crew96 staple Wil Trapp to definitely not Inter Miami because of copyright issues.  There's also been Crew chatter around a new minor league affiliate specifically aligned with the Crew.  We talk about where we think it'd work best and chat about FC Columbus (not as a minor league affiliate but as another means of supporting local soccer).

We also vent about SECRET soccer matches.  It's 2020.  There are a billion ways to stream and there are billions of cell phones in the world with video capability.  Air the matches plz.  Thank you.

We break down what we think will happen with LFC & Tottenham in the Champions League and Thomas hangs on the edge with LFC sooooo close to winning the Premier League.

The pod ends with a discussion of our favorite sports movies of all time with the recent announcement of the Mighty Ducks series and the FAILING Oscars show.  Bryant shares his mushy gushy poetry love of baseball and Thomas is a child.

We also announce a big giveaway!  You could get yourself a Crew96 gift card, Queen Annes Revenge scarf and a BAM SWAG package.

Thank you for being a friend.  Your heart is true.  You're a pal and a confidant.

Bryant and Thomas take time to process the news about Kobe Bryant. They discuss a few aspects of his life and how it's impacted them. They do not talk about all that's wrong about the horrible journalism, because wanted to keep the show shorter than the Irishman. You, the listener, also get to hear an outtake in the introduction. You're so darn lucky.

Bryant shares an update regarding the pod: we're going to take some time off from speaking about politics. Self care and mental health is important and its been difficult to handle anxiety when politics plays off of emotion. The pod will replace it with more Crew coverage and pop culture fun: Legacy List star Mike Kelleher will talk about his new TV show and his love for wrestling and cats (not wrestling cats). We'll also welcome Ralph Schudel: photographer and journalist for countless outlets and teams across Columbus.

Thomas and Bryant discuss all the FA Cup draws with Tottenham and Liverpool and how Liverpool is not handling it well. They discuss Liverpool deciding that the FA Cup is no longer important for them and sending their kiddos to the tournament while the senior team parties it up on vacation. Bryant sings an amazing song about two cogs in the LFC machine.

Crew coverage ramps up as alllllllllllllll the Crew news from the past week gets discussed. ALL OF IT. New assistant coach, preseason matches, Lampson returns, Dwight leaves, new kit, Adi and THEY ARE REBRANDING THE TEAM!

The show ends with Thomas attempting to stump Bryant into another dimension with famous drinks from movies.

Thank you for listening.

RIP Kobe, Gianna and all lives lost in the weekend tragedy.

dusts off podcast equipment Phew, where have you all been?  Just kidding!  We could give you excuses for why we haven't released an episode, but that's what the intro of this episode is for!

Bryant and Me makes its triumphant return to cover our new obsession: vinyl records, along with some of our old obsessions:

  • Premier League (specifically Liverpool and Tottenham)

- Bryant is oddly calm about the Spurs run of form and we dissect instagram posts to see who is coming to White Hart Lane

- Thomas tempers his hopes on the so-far historic Liverpool season.

  • Bernie v. Warren

  • Bernie v. Clinton

  • Pete Buttigeg v. Genuine Human Excitement

  • An impeachment update where Bryant and Thomas disagree on some things

  • Mourn the loss of Cory Booker's campaign

  • We share some of our podcast and personal goals for 2020

Hazzah!  Podcasts are fun!  Be on the lookout for merch, our special live recording on Crewsmas and PRIZES for some good iTunes reviews of our show.

So Liverpool win in the last few minutes, Trump is officially impeached and the strike ends so Democrats can debate.  So what does that mean for our podcast?

IT'S ALL ABOUT STAR WARS!!

Bryant and me talk about our childhood memories of the originals on Muppet Babies, prequels on one of the hosts first weekends working at a movie theater and recording illegal copies of the original trilogy.

We take some time to discuss the next trilogy and the online beef with Disney's takeover of the movies.  Is it the movies not meeting fan expectations?  Is it subconscious racism of stars that don't look like past heroes?  We discuss.

We do a Pop Culture XI of starting lineups in the Star Wars universe and end the show off with our predictions for The Rise of Skywalker!

May the force be with you.  No spoilers!  Enjoy the last Star Wars of the Skywalker saga!!

WE'RE BACK BABY!  The triumphant return (from only two weeks away) of Bryant and Me!

We bring a downright jolly episode about a ton of things.  A TON:

  • Ghostbusters Afterlife trailer and how amazing it is.  Also, it's nothing like Stranger Things (Thomas will fight you)

  • A lot of children vomiting

  • Bryant loves Tottenham, Jose Mourinho and Son's super selfish goal

  • LFC resigns Klopp to a long-term deal

  • Both Thomas and Bryant share who they would like their favorite teams to play in the first round of the CL knockout rounds

  • Impeachment and Democratic Debate updates

  • Bryant basks in finally getting Thomas to see Pete Buttigeg to see what he is...

To close things out, Bryant and Me throw out a new segment called "Bryant and Me fixes..." where we fix the world's problems like only two 30-something white guys can.  This week, we fix THE HOLIDAYS!  We talk about being kind, empathetic, compassionate and realistic with your holiday season.  We gone fix it.

It's our week before Thanksgiving day special.  In this episode, we find out where Thomas records his part of the podcast, and it's totally normal and not at all weird.

Also, Bryant actually sounds happy talking about Jose Mourinho becoming the manager of the Tottenham football club of London.

We talk about the impeachment hearings and how Jim Jordan is an embarrassment to the state of Ohio, followed by a giddy Thomas talking about Cory Booker's stone cold stunner on Joe Biden.  BAHH GAWWDD!!

The show ends with Bryant answering a name association game where we find out that he hates Barack Obama.  Sad!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

The guests we've invited to this show are great people with amazing things to share.  We don't want to discount what they have to say by squeezing it into a normal episode, so we've started a new format where our interviews will be shared separately from our normal weekly episode.

You can hear the passion of our first guest: Jeremy Hollon who works with Community Refugee and Immigration Services in Columbus, Ohio.  Jeremy  is a former candidate for the MLS Works volunteer of the year for Crew96, lifelong Tottenham supporter and all around good guy,.

Jeremy talks about what a "normal" week of work looks like for him, how anyone can contribute to CRIS and shares about how awesome the city of Columbus is for people coming in from outside of the US.  He may also throw an LFC dig into the conversation at some point...

We're so fortunate to have him and cannot wait for you to hear from him!

We've got a barn burner for you this week.

Bryant and me discuss the heated big v little battle of Gomez v Sterling, Tottenham didn't lose (!!!) and the PL table makes ZERO sense.

We also share a formatting change in our shows (trust us, you'll like it), let you know that snow is cold and very white (like resident serpent Stephen Miller) and discuss a weeeee bit about the impeachment.

We give a sneak peek into an amazing interview we had with Jeremy Hollon, who works for Community Refugee & Immigration Services (CRIS) in Columbus, Ohio.  The entire interview drops MONDAY!

We finish things off with a slobberknocker of a segment where we field our own fantasy soccer teams using only characters from 90s TGIF shows...

Join us and share your own lineups on Twitter.  We're at @BryantandMe.  @ us.  @ us hard.

Welcome to a marathon of an episode, but it's filled to the brim with STUFF. Good stuff, specifically. Thank you for celebrating 10 episodes with us!

We welcome another Bryant to the podcast, the official Back Up Bryant (BUB) to talk about Chelsea, fun buses, Darlington Nagbe to CrewSC and Christian Pulisic. (56:52)

We start off the show with some hockey game shenanigans (again) and our inaugural (??) Christmas Ales of the 2019 holiday, while simultaneously complaining about the WAR ON THANKSGIVING.

Thomas does a killer Keith Morrison impersonation. (11:43)

We go into the week that was for Tottenham & Liverpool, since we are technically a soccer podcast. We share about Son destroying a human being's ankle and a mixed bag of Spurs results and all things Liverpool armpit related. We also complain about sports replay and weigh how important it really is to get the call right. Hooray!! (12:08)

It takes a while, but we get into some non-soccer talk. A rash of politically/racially fueled signs started popping up around local college campuses. On top of all that, council people in Florida and Donald J Trump Jr are all in the news for the worst reasons. We discuss censorship and its different forms. (36:13)

We also go into some pod love for podcasts that don't take half of your day to listen to. (1:35:42).

Happy Veterans Day to all who have taken up the call to serve. RIP Capper.

BOO! ryant and mummy has a halloween treat in store with episode 9.

The pod welcomes their first ever guest, Crew96 Queen Annes Revenge supporters group dude Jon Corleone, an Leicester City fan, talks about how he definitely was not part of a bad trip to the Canadian border and his love of soft shell crab. (48:30)

We discuss how the higher you raise people up the harder the fall. (9:20)

Bryant definitely keeps his composure as we talk about the result of Tottenham v Liverpool and our experience watching with the official Columbus LFC supporters group.  Thomas does a spot on Harry Kane impersonation. (11:41)

We highlight two attempts at halloween costumes in the past week as we discuss happenings with Deadspin and the death of freedom in media and Donald Trump (the two are not associated but they kinda are if you think about it). (28:24)

Bryant gets quizzed on bad horror movie storylines and has to tell us if the synopsis is real or real fake. (1:14:30)

Have a safe halloween everyone.  Get those pillow cases filled with CAVITY INDUCING SUGARRRRR!!!!

Yippee ki yay boys and girls!  It's time for another exciting edition of BRYANT AND ME!

Just because the Prem takes a week off, doesn't mean that we do!  In this episode, we break down the excitement (ZzZzz) that was the Democrat nominee debate, that may or may not still be going on as I type these words.

We pick our debate winners, favorite Amy Klobuchar jokes and talk quietly enough so Tulsi Gabbard doesn't try to come moderate our podcast.

We also pick debate losers!

Speaking of losers, we also talk about the US mens national soccer team and their maple syrup covered loss to Canada and MLS Commish Don Garber not getting what he deserved at the Crew ground breaking.

To close the show out, you'll hear if Bryant gets the crap stumped out of him in a game of FINISH THE MOVIE QUOTE!! (it's a working title)

Thanks for listening!  Finish it quickly before Mayor Pete ridicules you!!

In our 6-pack episode, we go through some fun topics and some... not as fun.  We start with our thoughts on the validity of the Vardy v Rooney internet feud: are they mad at each other or is this a set up?

If it's a set up, is it to make The Sun (boooooo) look bad or to introduce a new Netflix series?

Bryant will blame the Tottenham Hotspurs on why he was on his deathbed for days, and you start to hear a hint of Bryant becoming a Wolverhampton fan.

Thomas gets real braggy about being a Liverpool supporter with how they've been playing so far.  We both laugh at Man City.

We break down the excitement that is the Crew Stadium groundbreaking and breakdown the not anywhere close to exciting WOSU Crew attendance bashing article.  We spend a lot of that time talking about the "sports lawyer" who shall not be named in fear of being arrested and made to serve a life sentence in Obetz.

After that we have a vent session about Donald J Trump deciding to use dead soldiers as a propaganda ploy for leaving Syria due to financial pressure, and general cowardice.

We finish up with some of our favorite podcasts too, in another edition of POD LOOOOVE!

We share our new Apple Podcast review and Bryant shares some thoughts on a very important anniversary in his life.

Thank you for listening!  We love you.

Welcome back loyal listener!

This week we talk mere hours after Tottenham lost 7 - 2 to Bayern Munich in the Champions League, and Bryant is handling it as well as you'd expect him to...

We talk about realistic expectations for Tottenham, and what Bryant expects the team to do in the coming months.  We talk about Liverpool's run of form and Bryant gets a little testy during it.

We break down the Democrat 2020 best 11 soccer team formation.  You won't believe who Thomas has as goalkeeper!

Then we talk about our favorite Trump tweets over the past few days.  One of Bryant's favorites was from someone he knows but completely forgot who sent it...

Our pod finishes with a LIGHTNING ROUND of questions.  Questions for you, the listener, to get to know Bryant and Me!

OUR EPISODE IS 30 MINUTES SHORTER THAN THE LAST ONE!  HOORAY!

So we attempted to be more organized to give you a more streamlined episode.  So naturally it is almost 20 minutes longer than last week, but there's a good reason!  We had our first annual awards show for sports, and mostly not sports, related awards.  Next year we will hire a full-time orchestra to play Bryant off when he talks about his award winners...

We don't just give away fake awards that no one will get, we also talk about the NEW CREW STADIUM!  That's exciting, huh?  We also discuss Tottenham's caribou (carabao) cup match against some League 2 team.  We'll also talk about impeachment stuff because you come to us for hard hitting journalism.

Thank you for listening!  We started an off podcast segment called "Song of the Day" where, get this, we share a song we like everyday.  Check it out on our Twitter page @BryantAndMe.  We're also on Instagram.  We'll start to incorporate that into our podcast experience too.

Please subscribe and leave your feedback.  We look forward to speaking with you all.  Godspeed.

Bryant and Me returns for it's triumphant second episode!  No one thought we'd make it this far, but we're not ones to give up easily.

In our second episode, we recreate a lot more songs than we should, talk about what's going on with the Champions League, make some jokes about the Europa league (because our rivals are in it), talk about FC Cincinnati's new request for supporters to tattle on one another and we end the show on a strange tangent involving Boy Meets World...

We also play the first game in our show's history: Beat Bryant (emotionally and through trivia, not physically)!  In our first iteration, he has to play the game "Europa League Team or Eastern European Food Dish."

Don't listen to this episode on an empty stomach!
