Fear and anxiety humble themselves before the unrivaled power of Jesus Christ.
In His presence, worries lose their grip, doubts fade away, and peace takes hold. The storms may rage, but His peace surpasses all understanding. Choose to surrender your fears, for I know that in His Spirit, we find strength, courage, and unwavering faith. Fear may raise its voice, but it is silenced by the name of Jesus. In Him, we stand as more than conquerors, but overcomers, filled with His perfect love that casts out all fear. Today, make the decision to anchor yourself in His promises, trusting that He is with you every step of the way.

As a Christian, recognizing when God is speaking to you involves understanding and applying biblical principles. Here are some key points to consider:
- Study and Know the Scriptures: The Bible is the primary way God speaks to believers. Regularly study and familiarize yourself with its teachings, stories, and wisdom. By immersing yourself in Scripture, you develop a foundation for discerning God's voice.
- Pray for Discernment: Seek God's guidance through prayer. Ask for wisdom, clarity, and understanding as you read and reflect on His Word. Pray for the Holy Spirit's guidance in discerning God's voice and interpreting Scripture accurately.
- Test It Against Scripture: When you believe you have received a message from God, evaluate it in light of the teachings and principles found in the Bible. God will never contradict His own Word. If a message aligns with biblical truths and values, it is more likely to be from God.
- Seek Confirmation: Share your insights, thoughts, or perceived messages with trusted Christian mentors, pastors, or spiritual advisors. Seek their guidance and discernment, as they can provide additional insights and help confirm whether the message aligns with biblical teachings.
- Fruit of the Spirit: Pay attention to the fruit of the Spirit mentioned in Galatians 5:22-23, which are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. If the message you receive promotes these qualities and encourages you to grow in your relationship with God and others, it is more likely to be in line with His guidance.
- Confirmation through Prayerful Reflection: Spend time in prayer and reflection to discern God's voice. Ask for confirmation through prayer and seek a sense of peace and conviction from the Holy Spirit. If you have a deep sense of peace and alignment with God's will, it may indicate that God is speaking to you.
Remember that recognizing God's voice requires humility, prayer, and careful study of the Scriptures. The Holy Spirit plays a vital role in guiding and illuminating God's Word to believers. Stay attentive to the leading of the Holy Spirit and be open to correction or redirection if needed. Developing a close relationship with God through prayer, Scripture, and a sincere heart will help you recognize His voice more clearly and follow His guidance faithfully.

Before my current season, I was crying out to the Lord day and night to restore the fire that He once placed in me. I asked Him to return me to that first passionate love. It felt like I couldn't break through no matter what but the Lord asked me to be patient and hold on. In obedience, I pushed through. God fought for my intimacy. He spoke to my fears and commanded confidence to come out of me. Now I am experiencing joy unspeakable. This is something only God can do. I pray that this episode would be a blessing to you. I wish to remind you of the God’s love for you today. I don't know what you’re going through, what you have done, nor what is holding you back, but I pray that these words from His promise would remind you that He cares for you & will give you rest from your burdens.

Oftentimes, it feels like we are alone. As if the Lord has forgotten us or has left us. The reality is that God is always with us. He will never leave us nor forsake us. Our hope is in Him and Him alone. We can rely on the fact that God is close to us in our most desperate moments. It's possible that God is silent in those moments because He wants to hear the cry of your heart.
When you hear the words spiritual warfare, perhaps you envision yourself taking some type of stand against an army in some desolate place. Maybe you believe it is all about rebuking demons in the name of Jesus. In this episode, I would like to discuss this topic from a different perspective. I believe that spiritual warfare takes place in the heart and mind. I pray that this episode would help you in being victorious in the battles that you face. The war was won by Christ on the cross, however, we all have battles we must still fight.

It seems that we have lost the concept of holiness in our generation. We make quick defense for sin rather than upholding the standard of holiness. It is truly unfortunate that this is the case. This place that I am living in is a beautiful existence. It is a place where my worries are not my own. My burden is not carried by me. The weight of the world is on the shoulders of Him who sacrificed His life for it. All of my anxieties are on Him. My trust was mistaken. I thought that I could trust solely in the hands of God, but He showed me how to trust in Him for who He is: the Great "I AM". I am so grateful that the Lord has been transforming me before my very own eyes. All the suffering and the pain that it took to get to this point has been worth it. I thank the Lord for all that He has done in my life.

This weekend I had the privilege to go to Cincinnati, Ohio with Pastor Timothy. We met up with his good friend Pastor Reggie Lenzy. In this episode we are discussing race, community, and the Church. Pastor Reggie gets deep about the strides that have been made in his community through the efforts of his home church of Peoples Church. Pastor Reggie is a great and knowledgeable man who is not afraid to speak about the current issues in our country. We are in a strange time where everything in our society is in chaos. Citizens are pushing for the dismantling of systems, defunding of the police, rewriting of the laws, and many more things. Some would say this is understandable. My opinion is irrelevant to the matter. I have seen people on both sides from the Church behaving in ways that are so contrary to the word of God that it is baffling to me. People post on social media without consideration for the image they are portraying. Truth to the world is subjective and relative; however, our truth is singular, it is Jesus Christ, Yeshua Hamashiach, who is the embodiment of that truth. Let us not forget the debt that was paid, and let us not be slow in our compassion and forgiveness towards others.
