The message of the Bible is for God to produce his House, His habitation. Building the church is a top priority for God. The church is a living entity and church growth is God's agenda/plan. God designed the church to grow so we must desire church growth.
Scripture has its own authority. Once it has spoken, it is done. Being a true Christian is based on how much of the word of God has entered your life. When the word of God dwells in us, Christ can fully exercise His headship and authority in our lives.
If you are a Christian, the word of God will always find a place in you heart. You are not living a normal Christian life if the word of God is far from you heart and mind. Be wary of the dryness of scripture in your life as a believer.
"Faith is not a spare tyre to use in times of crisis. Faith is the means for living. You cannot live as a Christian without faith active in your heart and in your life. We walk by faith and please God by faith."
Salvation is a gift, but when you get to heaven, there is an another gift given based on your works. Being an amazing Christian has a lot to do with your service in the Lord, not just how nice and moral you are. Work to build the House of God.
You can't be a Christian and forget about the cross. You can't live a true and authentic Christian life without the cross being in your mind. If you love Christ, the immediate reflection is your attitude towards the church. Validate your love of God through your service.
The quality of a believer has everything to do with how well they serve the Church: the body of Christ. The stewardship of God is given to a person for God's chosen people, for the pursuing and building of a church.
Your Christian life is nothing until Christ is being revealed in you. Christ cannot be revealed in you until He is formed in you. The Christ who is being revealed to us should also be revealed in us.
Fasting is different to hunger and thirst. Fasting is choosing to forgo food when there is food to eat, for spiritual reasons. When you are paying the price to fast, remember you are paying the price for a reward.
God's light is so bright, you can't approach Him. Christ is the image of the God no man has seen. The centrality of your Christian life should be hinged on who Christ is and what He has accomplished.
Everything physical you see bears the tag 'Made by Christ'. The essence of being a Christian is keeping Christ before all things. Whatever you're pursuing in life, do it in Christ.
Everything created has a label - 'made by Christ'. Everything created occurred through Him and for Him. We are made in the image of God, Christ is the image Himself.
Redemption is a term of commerce. You can't talk about redemption without a price being paid. Remember, Jesus paid the price for our redemption. Our God is a Redeemer and He redeems His people.
God is light, spirit and love. In Him there is no darkness at all. If you claim you are in the light and walk in darkness, you are lying. You are either in Satan's Kingdom (darkness) or God's kingdom (light). When you turn to the Lord, you move from glory to glory.
When you look at your history, you qualify for God's wrath, judgement and punishment. He has enabled (qualified) us to partake in their inheritance. Once you are in Christ, you have a share in the inheritance of the saints.
Strength plays a role in serving God. This kind of strength is not just generated, it's given. Being strengthened means to be made dynamic on the inside. You may be going through a difficult time but be strong and remember, God gives strength.
Church is not just a group of people gathering, it is the body of Christ, the presence of Christ here on the earth. People classified as members of the body of Christ are very special people to God. Understanding is of the mind, wisdom is of the spirit. The wisdom of God helps you to understand and appreciate the will of God. When you walk in the knowledge of His will, you become fruitful in every good work.
Faith is a non-negotiable means if you want to enjoy God in your life. You can't walk by faith and be a cheap victim in life. Don't die in your condition when you can walk by faith.

Christianity at core is about God's need to get a bride for His son. Christ came to die because He wanted a Church, which is His bride, which is His body. Every believer is a home for God so Christ and God come and make a dwelling in you. If you are born again, remember that you are a child of God, a member of God's household, the church of the living God and His body, which He cherishes and nourishes.
God wanted a house on earth, however the occupants on earth did not have what it takes to build Him a house. The temple of the house of God had to be built by a supernatural being (Christ). Like David, you get God's attention when you have a heart to build His house. If you are a genuine Christian, think about building the house of God.
The quality of your spiritual life is at the mercy of who is teaching you. False teaching is the greatest threat to the future of the church. Don’t be deceived by titles, be more interested in the content of the message and the quality of teaching you are receiving.
The scriptures tell us how we should treat those in positions of authority. No sound Christian community remains sound if they downplay doctrine; the health of any congregation is at the mercy of their doctrine. As scripture teaches us, be mindful how you conduct yourself with those in authority and positions of honour.
Righteousness and godliness matters; there is a way to live. The authenticity and purity of your righteousness is at the mercy of what you are seeing and hearing. Righteousness defends, guards, protects and directs. Don't be worried about the security of your future if you are on the path of righteousness.
The greatest assignment of man has to do with life after here. God makes reservations of judgement. It may look like God is slow to act, but He has made a reservation for the evil. In whatever you are doing, remember there is a reservation so long as God's plan is concerned. Live life with eternity in mind.

Doctrine affects behaviour. The safety of the church has everything to do with the doctrine and having a high view of scripture. If we deviate from the truthfulness of scripture, we have deviated from the security of our future.
Teachings are what keep the church going. The only way to weaken a church is to attack it from inside by watering down the teachings. The impact of false teachers transcends natural life, it has eternal consequences. If one is a false prophet/teacher, you will notice their message does not pointi towards Christ.
When you are a Christian, you are not an ordinary person. A Christian is not just someone who partakes in religious activity, they partake in the divine nature of God and carry His grace. As a Christian, you cannot afford to diet when it comes to spiritual meals (the word of God) else Satan will distract you.
Faith is a reaction to the word of God that has come to you. There is no way the enemy can have the upper-hand over someone who quotes God's word. For faith to work, it must have a word coming in. Don't think you are in faith when there has not been any word.

There are things to do to make the most out of your years, including developing your spirit. When you see a beautiful garden, it means someone has spent time tending to it. In the same way, spiritual development does not happen automatically. To make the most out of your days, take time to develop your faith.
A genuine Christian gets stirred up to do the things of God when they remember the power God gives us and His second coming. Taking advantage of the power helps you live well. Living well gives you an advantage towards the second coming where you will have a reward. A believer cannot afford to forget these things.
You were chosen from the beginning, you were not an afterthought. For the call on your life to be actualised, God has to take you through a process. Let your lifestyle and spiritual development validate God’s choice of you.
When you become saved you must know what you have been saved from (your sins and the judgement of God), saved by (the blood of Jesus) and saved for. Don't forget this, lest Satan get an upper hand over you.
Fruitfulness is the natural progression of divine life in the believer. Unfruitfulness is not of God, it is a sign that the life of God has been compromised. If you are a man or woman of faith, prove it by your fruits.
There is a process to spiritual growth and maturity. When you become a Christian, you are given an allotment of faith, but you have to add to it. Developing your spiritual growth is a personal responsibility; work at it.
God has called us into glory and virtue. The more you get to know the God who has called you to glory and virtue, the more you experience the effectiveness of the power deposited in us, which gives us all things that pertain to life and godliness.

The more we read the Word, the more like God we become which means we can demonstrate more genuine, pure love.

When you learn how to call on the name of the Lord, that’s when you can live the real church life. These works, however, can only be the result of good preaching. One thing that should worry you as a believer is having a lack of faith. Every born-again believer has a measure of faith, but it’s up to you to develop it. If you want to see the favour of God, developing your faith is not an option, it’s a must.
Without faith the just [believers] die spiritually. The platform of faith is what allows the glory of God to come to fruition in your life. To enjoy the saving power and life of God, your life must constantly express faith. Have faith in God because the just live by faith.
Faith is not blind, it sees what natural eyes cannot see. Faith can see the problem at hand, but it also also see the word of God. Faith will take the word of God and superimpose it on the problem because with God, nothing shall be impossible. Remember, God is faithful so take Him at His word!
God is our hiding place; we take refuge in the shadow of His wings. There’s always a place you can hide for the storms to pass. When God is our hiding place, we are not afraid or vulnerable and cannot be victims. Don’t be scared and troubled in the storm, just remember there is a hiding place for you.

What God can do in our lives is under the influence of what we say, and even our response to declarations. When a declaration is made in the name of Jesus, it carries the power to change our circumstances. Until we receive this word, and it in turn enters us, there is nothing God can do in our lives.
An important part of living for Christ is counting some things lost, just as Paul did. We must let go of some things, in order to walk with Christ in purity. Living for Christ means we actively seek the things of God, separate ourselves to commune with him and actively serve him.
The Bible tells us that we should look unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. Jesus is the beginning, the end, and everything in between, so as a believer you must have a desire to see Jesus. This desire will make a big difference in your destiny, and if you can keep it aflame, it will keep you at the top. Your desire to see Jesus will not be in vain.
It is a big privilege to be a part of a move of a God within a people or nation. In this season, some are going to be used by God, whilst others may miss the opportunity. It is very easy for God to include you, but for this to happen you must desire God and drop the weight. Everyone has a weight, something that always seems to have a hold on them, but you must lay that weight aside in your pursuit of God.
The Christian message is the gospel; until Christ is preached, people cannot find God. To know and experience the true God as He is, He must be revealed to you through the preaching of Christ.
God is our Saviour and He is the only One who is able to be our salvation. He is the Saviour of all men, and that is the true gospel. He is interested in saving the sinner, more than the sinner is interested in being saved!
Our service to God must be authentic, unconditional and all ‘buts’ must be eliminated. It should be based on what God wants, not based on our own terms and conditions. Genuine worship is ready to go to any length and cost. Worship that is void of sacrifice does not move Heaven. Give God your best and you will get the best of God for life.
When you become born again, you are introduced into eternal life. The life that Christ has is not a life that can die. The only way life and immortality can be manifested is through the preaching of the gospel. When the gospel is preached, new life is breathed into you.
A hunger for God is ones greatest advantage in life. Hunger generates persistence and creates room for God in our lives. God reacts to our hunger for him, the greater the hunger within us the more he can do with us.
As believers we are instructed to think clearly and exercise self-control. We must put our mind in gear so that we do not give ourselves to the deceptions of the devil. Your pursuit of God requires you to do such so you will not conform to any former lusts. The things you gave yourself to in your ignorance are harmful to you now, and so these things should remain in your past. Instead, you should gird up your loins, and rest fully in the grace of God.
Once you are in Christ, you are entitled to blessings. God has blessed us with every heavenly blessing but for it to manifest, there are instructions to obey. The principal way to get your blessings to load is to know the truth (the scriptures) and obey it. As soon as you start obeying God’s instructions, blessings start loading.
Death starts from the spirit; it starts with sin and leads to separation from God. If you are not in Christ, death is reigning. Christians don’t die, they fall asleep. Once you put your faith in Jesus Christ, the fear and terror of death that cannot hold you. If you are in Christ, you won’t taste death because Christ has tasted death for all who are in Him.
In order to start His assignment on Earth, Jesus needed the Holy Spirit. Likewise with Mary, Elizabeth, John the Baptist and others in the scriptures. To fulfil the assignment of God in your life, you must be filled with the Holy Spirit.
When you are in Christ, Jesus has taken the wrath of punishment of sin for you. Jesus drank the cup of suffering so that we can drink the cup of blessing. Desire to partake in the Lord’s table. If you partake in it, you are drinking the cup of blessing.
The Holy Spirit is the breath of God. The breath of God is what keeps us alive and forms the spirit of man. Without the Spirit, you cannot contact God and you cannot be used by God. You need the breath of God to walk in the spirit and fulfil the plan of God for your life.
Faithfulness is a crucial quality of anyone God can take far and use in the His work. Every church, move of God and anointed leader needs faithful members around them. Like Peter, Mark and Silvanus in the scriptures, be faithful and build to the glory of God.
The Bible tells us that in the beginning the Earth was without form, it was void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep. But the Spirit of God hovered, God spoke a Word, and there was light. The Bible also tells us that Jesus could not start His ministry without the Spirit of God coming upon Him. As a believer, we have the same Spirit within us, to reveal to us the deep things of God. We have what is takes to know the mind of God, by the Spirit.
Grace is God at work. No man has what it takes to distribute grace. Grace comes from God, and He distributes it through vessels. Grace will help you guard your faith. Access more grace so you can fight the good fight of faith.
When it looks like something is threatening your life, or you find yourself in challenging situations, that is when you know it is time to seek the Lord more with diligence. This is the time to step up your Christian walk and your pursuit of God. Once you begin to seek God in such a way, be determined to do His will, be sure to hear from Him quickly. When you hear God’s voice, He will empower you to walk on the waters you were initially afraid of. All you need to do is seek Him.
Our God is a God of all grace. What is grace? God at work! God is a God who relates with people and He is more eager to give to you than you are to take from Him. God wants to make Himself available to you, and all you need to do is humble yourself under His hand and He can use you. The demands of greatness, righteousness and elevation can be met when you humble yourself before God, because His grace is sufficient.
God breathed into man, and that is how man became a living soul. He gave man the kiss of life, that His Spirit would invade our system. With this it is clear that man needs God to live life. There is a way that may seem right in the eyes of men but is leading to death and so you must learn to make decisions led by the Spirit, that God has placed inside of you, from your inner man. You must learn how to turn to the Lord.
The devil uses your weak point against you but there’s something you can do to not fulfil the desires of the flesh. We need to be alert, know our enemy and stay in faith to overcome him.
The enemy wants to use your weaknesses against you and you can only resist him if your faith is in place. Flaws are permanently going to be with you. By the time you are overcoming one, another is somewhere waiting, that is what makes you human. Build your faith, and stop focusing on your flaws.
A believer should be clothed with humility. Pride is a problem for your Christian race; God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. When you embrace the virtue of humility, God takes it personally and gets involved in your life.
The devil is our adversary; he uses our Achilles heel against us. When the devil wants to destroy you, he will send a distraction just like Samson and Delilah, David and Bathsheba. When God wants to deliver you from the distraction, He will send a word. The only way you can deal with the devil is by being sober and vigilant.
Great faith is the faith that is not based on anything other than what God has said. God's word is enough! When God wants to do something for you, He will send a word. If you are looking for a miracle or a testimony, look for a word from God.
When God speaks, works follow. The basis of our reason to believe is the word we have heard and works we have seen. Stay strong in hope, stay strong in faith because you have a reason to believe you will see the promise of God manifest in your life.
Pastoral work is a work of service. If you want to be a church leader, you will be a leader of the church of God, God’s people. The attitude of a pastor towards the congregation reflects their attitude towards God. The way you handle the people of God determines the quality of your reward.
Elders and bishops are to be pastors and overseers of the church. Being a pastor is a function, not just a title. A pastor is one who has been given the responsibility for caring for the sheep. To care for the sheep includes feeding them, nurturing them and guiding them.
Faith is a master key to dominate in every aspect of life. Our faith requires us to take steps and movements based on God’s word. In order to live our entire lives in faith, we must be weary of the enemy attacks against it.
Our delight in God's word begins with a heart reset in our attitude to God and his word. Turning our hearts toward him and the things above. To do this, we must be intentional, especially in learning and memorising scriptures. It must be our desire to grow and delight in the word of God. When we delight in his word, we experience change in our lives.
On Earth, there is blessing for the believer; you can’t sacrifice and live for God sacrifice and not see the impact here on earth. Your service to God is not in vain, it entitles you to reap many times more. As you do serve God faithfully, He will show His glory in your life.
Man was not made to carry cares. If you keep carrying problems, you will breakdown. Every burden can be handled adequately by our God. Stop worrying, trust God and cast your cares upon Him for He cares for you.
Suffering for Christ allows the glory of God to rest upon you. Suffering can be your greatest blessing. Don’t fear suffering; expect it, enjoy it evaluate it and entrust yourself into the hands of God in the time of suffering.
God has a way of making a room for us, and visiting people on our behalf. But we must practise paitence and wait on God. When we do life God’s way, we have the last laugh.
There are things you must do to provoke a divine visitation and blessing. There is a direct correspondence between your physical activity and spiritual results. Nothing done in the name of the Lord with a genuine heart, based on God’s word, can ever be in vain. Your usefulness to God is the fastest secure route to your colourful future.
One of the things that can bring a radical turnaround is the power of the communion, the power of the blood. Communion always comes to start something new. The communion has the power to deal with weaknesses and sicknesses around us. As you eat the communion, you evoke the power of the blood.
What you know will determine what you can escape. There are things you must know how to do in your day of visitation if you want to do well in life. Well-being does not respond to prayer and fasting, it responds to honour. Who you honour will determine how well you will do in life.
When faced with turbulent situations, we must speak out and address them in the power of the Holy Spirit. As we speak, there must be a change in our circumstances in our favour. When Jesus spoke, situations immediately changed. We must therefore believe, that when speak in this same power, circumstances will change immediately.
Every anointed blessing comes with the ability to obey. To sacrifice for God, you must learn to depend on the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit comes on you to help you to do what you need to for your destiny in God.
Your attachment to Christ will entitle you to certain sufferings because we live in a fallen world. Not every suffering is a reflection of wrongdoing. Some sufferings will come to you because you are doing the right thing. Don’t be ashamed if suffering comes because you are taking a stand for Christ.
God wants a community to work with, that’s why He called us. When you are born again you are not born again to be by yourself. You are born again to be part of a team, a part of the body of Christ. If you discontinue from fellowship, you will be disengaged from your assignment in God.
Most of the time when God wants to bless you, He's waiting for your sacrifice. Until you pay the price to be in the presence of God, you will not behold the beauty of the Lord. Without a heart for sacrifice, you cannot be sanctified for the best of God. Let your sacrifice be an act of obedience, not an act of convenience.
To receive a visitation, you have to pay a certain price. If you want a visitation, ask yourself what kind of price you’re willing to pay. In your hour of visitation, do as the occasion demands. Pay a price to walk with God
When your time of visitation comes, God Himself is the one behind it, it’s not an act of man. God is visiting you to make you His jewel. You must have a right heart to maximise your time of visitation. As you await His visitation continue serving God and doing things God’s way.
There is a way to maximise your point of visitation. In your day of visitation, do more of what is working. Faith will facilitate the coming of your testimony. Connect yourself by faith to receive your miracle and all eyes will see that God has visited you
As a Christian, it is not strange to go through trials and difficult times. So long as we are in the flesh, we will go through certain challenges. Though we go through what others go through, the good news is that God is with us! Rejoice in your suffering because when you suffer for Christ, the end of it is glory.
There is a day of visitation. When God visits His people, something good is happening to them; their life can never be the same again. Believe God for a visitation because it is never too late.
The God of glory is a God of promise, even in times where things looks impossible. If you are not in Christ, your sin will block the promise of God from being fulfilled in your life. As soon as you come into Christ, the blood speaks on your behalf. The communion makes you qualified for the promises of God to be yes and amen.
A believer must approach their church life with seriousness and care because we are running out of time. Christianity means Christ has done what He said He will do for you, now it’s time to do for Him. Spend the time you have engaging in fervent prayer, permanent love, offering hospitality and ministering as a good steward of God.
As a believer, your faith will determine what you are able to receive from God, and this is the reason why the enemy will try and attack your faith. God will always speak a Word, and all you have to do is believe in spite of how the enemy will attack you, and in spite of your condition. You must learn to shift your eyes from the problem to what God has spoken, because once you believe God you authorise Him to show you what He can do in your life. Just as He has said, God will visit you.
Fasting is not an idea of man, it’s God’s idea. God has something to say on how we should engage in fasting. There are benefits in doing God’s chosen fast; the God kind of fast brings personal change of stories, notable proofs and tangible results that cannot be denied.
Fasting is an aspect of sacrifice. When fasting, you put yourself in a state of discomfort with one main purpose; to seek the face of God and call upon the name of the Lord. When you engage in God’s chosen fast, it brings to bear the hand of God in a very colourful way.
God chooses fasting; fasting is good and makes a difference in your life. When you fast in God’s style, God causes things to turn around. When you engage in God’s chosen fast, no force can stop your light from breaking through.
Everything created has an end. When you understand that you are running out of tomorrows, you are provoked to live better. There is no way you can live an effective Christian life without the end being in view. Because the end is at hand, you must start to approach life from a different angle. Realise that you are running out of time!
If you can catch a word, you've caught God. You cannot catch a word until you fix your eyes on it. Store the word in your heart and give attention to it; that’s the only way you can catch it and experience a change your story.
The word of God is a seed. When it’s planted in your heart, it doesn’t have a choice but to deliver. Everything God does rises and falls based on someone’s encounter with His word. The word we haven’t grasped is what Satan takes advantage of. When there is no word, Satan will target you and buffet you. Catch the word before he steals the word!
Our communion is redemption. Redemption is on the basis of Christ being pierced in His hands and side. Our redemption is history – it’s already been done. We are the saved people, enjoying the package of redemption (being blessed in this life). We take communion to reinforce the fact that we are the redeemed of the Lord.
There is a wind of favour blowing and the God of promotion will show up in people’s lives. However, negative shadows can cover you from shining. Therefore we must believe God to hide us from the Herods and Pharaohs of our time. So that as we extend courtesies of honour to people who carry grace, God's time for us will not be hindered
There is a day of judgement coming; Jesus has been ordained by God to be the Judge of the living and the dead. Whether you are in Christ or you are not in Christ, judgement awaits everyone. The first and second coming of Christ should be your motivation for godly living. It impowers us to live for Christ and live well, because we know He is coming.
It is dangerous to have a closed understanding, in all areas of your life. You will not able to build, do well in ministry, or walk with God - a lack of understanding is costly. Doing well lies at the mercy of how much understanding you have. The Bible tells us that it is only when you have understanding that your light shall break forth, so if there is something you should pray for, it is wisdom and understanding.
There are spiritual forces that are working against us, programmed specifically by the devil to cause havoc in our lives. However, the blood of Jesus is a token for us; the forces of darkness are not able to work against you because of the blood of the Lamb. The blood of Christ that was shed is an impassable blood line which the enemy is not able to pass. When the blood is speaking for you, there is no ordinance working against you that is able to prevail.
One day, you will be called to give an account for how you have lived your life. Everyone has been given an appointment for judgement. In the absence of reading your bible, praying and sharing your faith, you will struggle with your righteous journey and this will impact if you receive rewards or punishment. The strength it takes to live to His glory is already within you. Just stir it up!
When the lustful days are over in your life, you stop living your life according to the will of the world. The world may look at you strangely but, continue your righteous living. Righteously walking for God for a period builds spiritual equity of blessings. Be determined to maintain good works and live a life that glorifies God.
Time is divided into three; past presence and future. There’s nothing you can do about the past, little you can do about the future and lot you can do about the present. The best use of your time is to invest the rest of your time in doing God’s work. The tomorrow you’re talking about must be lived today. When you start living a certain life today, it will invariably have an impact on your tomorrow.
Suffering is a necessary requirement in our journey to glory. Glory always follows our suffering. For us to utilise our suffering, we must have an attitude of endurance. Your suffering has an assignment and purpose, don’t waste it. Arm yourself with the mindset that if you are partaking in Christ’s suffering, you will also partake in the eternal glory and blessings that are ahead.
There is a certain level of glory that follows suffering. Christ suffered to give us an example of how we should also suffer. If you don’t have a mindset to suffer for doing God’s work, you will never be useful in the hands of God. When you are suffering for Jesus, it brings you into closer fellowship with Him.
Signs of trusting God are that you will give, and you will praise Him. We don’t praise God because everything is okay, we praise God because we trust Him. When you trust God, you can still praise Him even when things look discouraging. Trust God and stop fearing; your trusting Him will make your future very colourful.
What you do not pray for, you are not entitled to enjoy. Because of this, as a believer, it is important that you consistently ask God to lead you and guide you. Whether this is in good times or bad times, ask God for guidance on what you should do.
Prayer is an expression of trust and dependence on God. God’s cure, solution & prescription for any earthly human problem is prayer. When you pray, you move away from a place of anxiety and into a place of trusting God. The one who trusts in God continues in prayers and supplications night and day.
One of the signs that you trust God is that you are patient with Him. Patience is the ability to hold onto the word of God permanently. If you trust in God, you are willing to hold on to what He has said, no matter how long it takes. Your approach does not change with changing seasons because you know that God will do what He has committed Himself to do.
We are a chosen generation, a unique people born of God, meaning that although we may be in the world we are not of the world and its systems. The Bible tells us that because we are born of God we are able to overcome the world by our faith. Faith is directly linked to loving and obeying God - even the worldly things that may make obedience to God difficult, we are able to overcome. Faith is a love exercise that allows us to keep the commandments of God.
If you can believe and trust God to the end, it takes care of everything. Your trust in God is what brings the power of God to manifestation in your life. Lack of trust invalidates every spiritual activity we engage in. When you move to solid trust in God, your testimony will speak for itself.
If God has found it necessary to use someone, it is to your advantage to celebrate that person. A lack of honour can effect what God can do through a person for a people. For this reason, it is vital that you honour the vessel that God uses.
It is very easy to go through things and feel that God is not with you and is not hearing your prayers. However, you must remember that God hears, He always hears the cries of the righteous. He also remembers them in the day of trouble. He has not forgotten you. Wait upon Him, He hears and He remembers.
As you trust in God, you are blessed. One way to trust in God is through your obedience to His word. When you trust in God in spite of what happens in life, God Himself keeps you in an impeccable peace. Even when it all doesn’t make sense, one thing the believer can say is “I trust you Lord.”
Baptism does not equal salvation; it is a symbol that you are a believer. Baptism goes hand in hand with repentance and shows that you identify with the burial, death and resurrection of Christ. Baptism is not there to remove the filth of the flesh, but, for us to be baptised into an excellent way of life.
If you want God to bless you, you need to know why God blesses materially and physically. To procure blessings, you need to walk by faith. Walking in faith happens by walking in the word of God. Every believer who wants to see the blessings of God in a great way must be a master of applying God’s word.
As believers, we are the people that do not give up. The Bible tells us that those who endure to the end are the same ones who will be saved. This means that the promise of God is always in reach once we remain on track, living with tomorrow in mind. He who walks with God, and does it God’s way, will always have a better end.
When doing the work of God, there is an eternal weight to what we are fighting for. We are striving for a crown, a crown which will be awarded to us by God. There are things to do in our worship that will enable us to obtain these crowns, as we are running towards the mark. Strive for the crown that you will receive in eternity!
The essence of a servant is to dispense the life of Christ to others. Every Christian is supposed to be a minister of such, this means they a servant of Christ. As a servant, when you speak to people you offer Christ, because the promise of life is in Christ.
In your pursuit of God, there will be times when you receive demonic reactions from others. However, you should not be discouraged by these, rather continue to push, because once you begin to experience such reactions you can be sure something is working for you. This is the dislodging of spiritual entities from your life.
Living a Christian life is not a normal life; there is coexisting spiritual life which is in conflict with the things of God. This conflict started from the Garden of Eden as Satan has always wanted to spoil the work of God and terminate God’s agenda on Earth. As a believer, you can’t afford not to build your spirit man; if you disengage your spirit, Satan will have an upper hand over you.
Every religion offers salvation if you are good. God only saves those who are unworthy of salvation. God saved us while we were still His enemies. There is only one God and one mediator, Jesus Christ. If you go outside of Jesus there is no hope and no salvation.
When we are born again, we are become the Church of the living God, and we become a part of the body of Christ. Because we are part of the body of Christ, we have one shared life which is communion - a fellowship with one another. Knowing this, communion is not just a Church ritual, but a reinforcement of our oneness with Christ as the House of God.
God chose us that we may bear fruit for Him, we were chosen and ordained for a purpose. Not only should we bear fruits, but bear fruits that remain. For those who do not abide and bear fruit, they will not reap the full benefits of living for God. When we bear such fruit, we are able to ask God for whatever we need and it will be done unto us.
Every Christian must be known for good works and good behaviour. When you are good, you make it difficult for people to easily attack you and hurt you, however, persecution is inevitable for believers. When we suffer, it shouldn’t be because of the wrong things we have done, but the right message (gospel) we have.
When we reach heaven, there is going to special feasting and supper. It is a necessary aspect of spirituality. However, the problem comes when you feast too often without any regard for fasting. God has always taught us how to use food properly, as such, there is a time set apart for fasting and a time set apart for feasting.
Love is a debt that you owe other Christians. The Bible didn’t call us to be loved, it called us to love. The fact that you are a believer means you owe others love; you must pay it. There is a certain behaviour we should have among ourselves that reflects Christ. The Christian life is a life that normal people can’t live. To truly live for God in this way, it will take the Holy Spirit.
Whatever God has promised, He is also able to do it. Having known this, as believers, we should have an unreserved persuasion and confidence in God’s Word. When you can trust in His Word, you can also be sure that there is hope for your future!
If God wants to reach you, he will come through preaching, the opening of the scriptures. The gospel gives the Holy Spirit the track to operate on. When the word of God is declared, we see the move of the Holy Spirit. Meaning a testimony is not far away.
The only way that you are able to fulfil your destiny in God is by the Holy Spirit. You have to put aside the flesh and allow the Spirit to come upon you. No one, of themselves, has the ability to operate on the behalf of God; to fulfil your destiny it can only be by the Holy Spirit, and learning to flow in the Spirit.
You must believe God that there is a possibility for Him to do what otherwise may seem impossible. When you look onto God, you will be radiant. God is not a man that He should lie, so although men may let you down God will not let you down. As you look to God, believe that wherever the enemy has tried to harass you, restoration is coming.
The resurrection is central to Christianity; it’s the lifeline for believers on Earth. The resurrection was purely an act of God. Christ’s resurrection is a death swallowing resurrection and his death a devil destroying death. Jesus is the first to have an endless life. As He is our forerunner, if you are in Christ, there is hope for you!
Every believer must understand the significance of the Cross. The Cross is where Christ died, gave Himself as a ransom and an offering, substituted our place and satisfied the the wrath of God. On the Cross, Christ purchased the Church with His blood.
When you hear a prophetic word, there are things that must be in place to see the word work. There are enemies that will fight against the fulfilment of the prophetic word and declarations you have received, however, when you have faith, hope, the right confession, his plans will not work. The prophetic word must work for you!
Christ was put to death by lawless hands, but it was for a determined purpose. Though Christ was sinless, He had to die. He is not a victim, but a King who came to suffer and give His life on the cross. The cross is the centre of everything when it comes to Christianity. It’s where God’s hatred for sin and God’s love for people came together. That is why if you are a Christian, you are not permitted to forget about the cross.
Mary and Elizabeth are two very unique women in the Bible. Mary at the time was a virgin and so it was impossible for her to carry a child. Despite this, she had Jesus. Elizabeth at the time was too old to bear a child. Despite this, she had John. Who are these women? These two women that availed and separated themselves for God, thus changing lives.
Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures. To understand why this is the case, we can look back at the Old Testament. We can see how Christ was foreshadowed by these stories in the Old Testament. Throughout, the blood of the Lamb was potent, and now it is the blood of the Lamb that saves us.
God’s plan is that you should bring Him glory in all that we do. This means that you can’t be a believer and not live for the glory of God because you will be living below the standard of His goodness. Christ came to bring the rainbow community. The rainbow community are the people who are going allow God’s name to be glorified here on Earth.
To be used by God, you can’t do it in your own human strength. There is nothing that our sinful flesh will be able to do to please God. The flesh only gets in the way which means that it needs to be put aside. To be used by God, you need the Holy Spirit.
You must determine in your heart to believe God. It is your believing that will commit God; you commit His favour to you and His power to work in your life. Whatever is happening, stay in faith because God has settled the matter for you. Don’t give up, but believe God.
The one another life as a Christian means putting yourself in the shoes of other believers to help each other. The church is not just an organisation, we are an organism. We are an amalgamation of different bodies and parts functioning together through one source; Christ. As believers, we must love one another with a brotherly love.
Marriage is a reflection of God’s agenda and purpose for creation. Marriage is not man’s idea; it is God’s idea. To the Christian, marriage is not fundamentally for happiness; marriage is for the glory of God. Happiness is a natural by-product if we do it God’s way.
A mustard seed is so small, it can easily get lost, be blown by the way and be discredited or lost. It’s size may make you think it can’t produce a certain type of result. There are times where you feel discouraged but remember, when you have faith like a mustard seed, life obeys you.
It is important to understand how to receive your healing. When it comes to healing, you need to have insight and revelation into God’s Word. When you expose yourself to scripture, it allows the divine nature to grow inside of you. When this happens, all foreign natures will diminish. These sicknesses can’t survive the presence of God.
Beauty is vain, it passes. Your beauty product should not be just the things you wear and what we see about you. There must be an inner beauty; a certain beauty product that emanates from your spirit. The beauty product of a fashionable woman is inside of you; Christ.
God works heavily with your expectations; it’s your expectation that sets the platform for the manifestation of God’s power in your life. If you want divine intervention, you must have faith and be expectant that it is coming. Healing is yours when you are born again, it is part of your covenant relationship with God. You must declare that healing and good health is yours. When you are expectant, your expectation will not be cut off.
To provoke a miracle, we must find a word from God to stand on to build our hope upon. You cannot have faith without hope. Miracles are a manifestation of the word, we must therefore have God's prophetic word. Provoking a prophetic miracle encounter, both a prophetic word and expectation are essential. Believing God despite how Satan attempts to attack our faith, that our expectation for a miracle will not be cut off
Miracles are provoked, they do not just happen. We must position ourselves to receive our miracles from God. To see the miracles in effect in our lives, we must first start by loading ourselves with the word of God and having strong faith. Every miracle God performs is on the platform of His word.
The Greek root word for bishop is the same as the Greek root word for visitation. The job of a bishop is to visit the people, looking out to promote them. As a Bishop, Christ is working in you and observing you for your day of visitation; the time and period in which God comes to bestow His favour upon you and elevate you.
In life, there may be times when it looks like there is no hope. The natural evidence of the circumstances around you may look worrying. However, you must dare to believe fully in God’s Word, even when the situation seems like it is impossible, because if God said it then it will surely come to pass. Believe, even against hope, and those who are against you shall be confounded at how God did it for you.
God rules in the affairs of men. This means that when you walk with God He is able to use you to change matters, but for this to happen you must operate as a watcher. You must exercise your spiritual authority to declare and decree God’s Word. There are some things that should be forbidden from happening around you because you are a watchman with authority. God works with your confession, so His hand will move by the decree of the watchers.
The Bible tells us that our confidence has a great recompense of reward. In other words, our confidence in God may cost us at times but we will be compensated with a great and glorious reward. When you take steps of faith as you walk with God, you will not be at a loss. You will be given a reward to make up for what you have lost because God has considered your losses in the reward that you will get! Although things may become difficult, you must endure to the end, knowing that as you trust in God all things are working together for your good.
What you know in God’s Word determines the freedom you are able to enjoy. The quality of your walk with God is hinged heavily upon the knowledge and understanding you have about the ways of God and His promises for you. The knowledge you have creates the platform for your lasting liberty. This means that you cannot be ignorant about spiritual things. You cannot afford not to know.
Kharis is the good works which people see and glorify God; there are benefits of Kharis. You can’t talk about Kharis (trustworthiness, thank-worthiness, something being commendable) without a good conscience towards God. A pledge of a good conscience is important when it comes to your walk with Him. Being conscious of God makes you aware of your intimate walk with Him.
To access the kingdom of God, we must have a child like trust and appreciation in God, and His word. The kingdom belongs to those people who are genuine, and willing to give God more. We must believe the word in it’s entirety, and believe the messengers God sends forth to us. Knowing that God has not left us, and choosing therefore not to fear.
The word of God is life to those who find them, therefore coming into contact with the word of God is a necessity. Once we come into contact with a word from God, we now have a responsibility to believe it. When we believe we trigger the power of God to work in our lives. Therefore we must continue to believe that God will preserve us from all evil, just as He has said in His word. We must speak this word, and confess it over our lives!
When God wants to help you, He will send a prophet your way. The lack of a prophet can also hinder a miracle. A prophet’s role is to speak God’s word. We know from scripture that God does not only confirm the word of his prophets, but sends his word through them. For the word to work for us, we must believe in the words of his Prophets and not become familiar. By doing this and obeying the word of God’s messengers, we shall see our miracles manifest.
Regardless of what happened yesterday, you don’t have any reason to feel bad, sad or down. Today is a new day - a day of great tidings. You don’t need anyone to convince you of this reality, because everyday is God’s day and it becomes your day the very day you believe. Why would God wait until tomorrow when your faith is ready today? He won’t! Today is your day.
The enemy has many ways he likes to operate in darkness, in order to impose his demands, intentions and purpose over your life. We must be encouraged that when all the night stars are gone, the morning star is still there. Christ is the bright and morning star, and He comes at the dawning of a new day. It doesn’t matter what the enemy is doing during the night, because weeping may endure but joy always comes in the morning.
God will execute vengeance when somebody attempts to curse the one whom He has blessed. When you are born again, you have come under a blessing. This means that God will curse those that curse you, and bless those who bless you. When your enemies decide to stand against you, God will stand against them. In every area of you life where the enemy is sat on your destiny, you can be sure that God will arise, avenge you and fight for you. Your enemy will attempt to make you go down in life, but it will not work because vengeance is the Lord’s good
A consciousness of God that translates into a certain type of behaviour or expression is ‘Kharis’. Kharis is the internal workings of God in a person that results in an expression in their living, to the glory of God. Kharis is the way of life, the living that accrues eternal interest and reward for you.
When you have a heart for God, he gives you more than what you could ever ask for. When we are dedicated to God and his kingdom, our concerns become his concerns. God bears witness of his word through, signs wonders, and diverse miracles. When we hunger for God, and forsake sin, we end up with pleasures forevermore and diverse miracles.
Sometimes when going through hard times, it may seem easy to conclude that God won’t turn that situation around for you. This is a lie the enemy will try to feed you, because the reality is that God is able and willing to help you no matter how worrying that trial or tribulation is presenting itself to be. God is able to change your story. It is not impossible for God to glorify His name on your life. You must learn not to fear, because God is faithful.
We are saved by the Word of God that we hear; the Word alone carries the power and potency to change the heart. For this reason, we must always consider what the Scriptures have said. Nothing changes the heart like the Word of God. Any faith outside of the Word of God is not genuine faith. You must learn to focus your mind on what God’s word has said because God’s word has the final verdict.
Gaining anything from God starts with looking into the scriptures and having faith in them. Every miracle starts with belief in God. When we fail to mix the word with faith, it can hinder usfrom receiving a miracle. Miracles can also be hindered by simply receiving the word on a surface level, and not allowing it to work in our lives. Alongside this, lack of belief in the prophet sent to you by God and lack in indulgence in scripture; can be major hinderances in receiving miracles
The most important relationships in life are meant to be for life. A lockdown lover is temporal but a locked-down lover is permanent. Don't choose a future partner based on lockdown feelings, you have to think further. Choose a locked-down lover; someone who loves you genuinely and has long term plans for the future.
As believers, we must always approach God asking for mercy in prayer, on a constant basis. God hears our cries for mercy, and he gives us what we do not deserve. However, we know when God responds to us, it is purely based on his mercy alone, and not our own merits. God’s mercy reaches out to us in our messy state and gives us a clean slate standing in the way of our judgement.
The Christian has a social responsibility. We have been called to deal with our private struggles and our internal disciplines. We have a social responsibility towards society at large on how we live based on the law of the land. Our public relations must be good and spoken well of as what others can see in your life can lead them to glorify God.
The reason for some unanswered prayers, can be fleshly desires. When we pray, we must have Gods agenda in mind. This is one of the ways to show our heart for God. We must not use God, for our own selfish motives alone. We must therefore keep in mind, that what God has planned for us, is bigger than anything we could ask for or imagine. This only starts, when we have a heart for him and his work. Set your hearts on the things of God.
There may be some forces of darkness that are eating away at the destinies of your life. The whole world lies under the sway of the evil one, designed not to allow you to succeed, or to see the glory of God in your life. Your destiny is supposed to blossom because of who we are in Christ. There are things you need to do to free you from these powers and principalities that have taken hold of your destiny in God. You must take dominion and deal with the adversaries of your destiny.
As a believer, there is always more working for you than against you. This holds true even when things don’t look like they are going your way - it is an unseen reality. Therefore, you must start looking at what is unseen with the eyes of the Spirit. The eye of the Spirit can see beyond what is natural, beyond your physical circumstances because these things are only temporal. You must learn to focus your attention on the reality that all things are working together for your good.
There is nothing that lies beyond the reach of prayers - every problem that we may face can be dealt with in prayer. When we are able to pray fervently in faith, things will begin to change in our lives. As part of our salvation, there is an inheritance in God for us. You must know how to engage in the prayer that gets answered to access this inheritance. When you ask in faith, God will answer your prayers.
When we begin to walk with God, we have been enlisted into an army, and as part of an army, we must not relax when there is an enemy on our territory. Any negative situation that has stayed in your life persistently is the enemy in your territory, the sign of a curse. One way to suspend such a curse is to serve God diligently. We must engage ourselves in Kingdom service, both humbly and diligently, to procure the blessing of God over our lives. You can’t be serving God and be a victim.
Sin is not innocent and fleshly lust are not innocent temptations. They are like an organised war or military campaign against your soul. Sin has the desire to master you; you must fight to overcome it. You can’t maintain your usefulness to God when sin is dominating in your life.
Without believing, we cannot tap into the blessings and favour of God. In order to Allow God to fight for us, we must paralyse our fears and get into faith. When we speak the word we have received, it kicks our faith into action. When we do this, we invite God to help us and fight our battles
When God wants to help us, He will send a word forth for us to believe. Faith means believe in action. There are many aspects to walking with God. However, to start our walk by faith, we must have revelation in the word, an inner hearing of the word. This does not happen without the power of the Holy Spirit. If we want to walk by faith, it will also require us to take faith steps.
To receive a testimony, we must leave our casual approaches towards God, and push with fervency. Continuity matters when it comes to God, especially continuity in prayer. To see the greater impact of God in every aspect of our lives, we must continue in spiritual fervency and activity. We must continue in order for the word to prevail, and to enjoy the power of God. Having the determination to continue and believe that God is a helper.
As we walk with God we dare to believe him for the impossible but sometimes find ourselves giving up when the duration is longer than we expected. If we can just remind ourselves that we serve a God of miracles and he has our answer and will bring forth that miracle in the Time of Life. Whatever that situation may be our God is faithful and will deliver it at that right time. Trust God, keep believing and fear not. Is there anything too hard for the Lord our God?
The priesthood of all believers means once you are born again, you are a spiritual priest in the sight of God. Redemption is a recovery programme by God to bring us back on track of the original purpose of our creation; to reflect God as priests and have dominion as kings
We know that God is near to those who call on his name. But to walk with God, we must learn to hear from him properly. To hear from God clearly, there are certain things that must be in place. Starting with building ourselves up spiritually, and reading our bibles. We cannot hear from God living in carnality. God uses his prophets in our walk with him to help us hear him clearly, and to deliver his word to us.
God always has families in mind. He can save and mend families. From scripture we learn that salvation is not for ourselves alone, it should be extended towards our families. We must take this approach and stand in the gap for our family members. We must deal with the principalities and powers working behind the scenes. We do this, by not fighting against our family members but for them through prayer.
God is a revealer of secret things. Just as God showed Daniel the things to come, we must also seek God in prayer to hear his instructions. We must ask God to reveal to us the things we don’t know, that can be of benefit or even of harm to us. We may have done unintentionally done things that could hinder our prosperity, but we must call on the name of the Lord and ask him to show us how to rectify them.
To walk in faith, it must be a function of the Spirit of faith. But to build our faith, we must hear and read the word of God. The more we read the Bible, the more we see ourselves in scriptures. Allowing our faith to grow stronger.
Anybody who is not born again is spiritually speaking damaged merchandise. Once you become born-again, you are God’s masterpiece. Only God can take you from damaged merchandise to a masterpiece. As you expose yourself to the Word daily, something is happening to you. You may not feel it, but you are being transformed into an appropriate material for the building of God’s house.
Living a life without prayer, makes you a victim. We can never pray enough, we must pray in and out of season. Jesus emphasises the importance of prayer throughout scripture, making us aware that men always ought to pray. Instead of complaining about our challenges, we must bring them to God in prayer.
Faith is birthed through conviction. When your faith says yes, God will not say no. But we must be radical in our faith. To see the Glory of God, the word must become flesh and live within us. Anytime we believe in God, it means we also believe in his prophets. God uses his prophets to communicate with us in our spirits, as Gods spirits bears witness with ours.
When the law of God was broken, it means we would have come under a curse for sin. But Jesus came to take the burden of the curse, and free us by dying on the cross. Jesus’ death on the cross, transferred our curse onto him for him to abolish Sin completely. Now we know can come boldly before the throne of Grace and have dominion over sin.
Walking with God is a spiritual activity, we cannot walk with God carnally. Carnality means enmity against God, therefore we are unable to flow with the Holy Spirit whilst indulging in fleshly activity. We must separate ourselves from carnality, and walk in the spirit. When the Holy Spirit is upon us, we become an attraction to others and to our testimony. But walking with the Holy Spirit first requires our faith.
Faith sees what is invisible, when we look at scripture we see past the natural. We must trust what we see in scriptures, and hold on to it. Trusting God starts with prayer, calling on Gods name. God encourages us to call on him, because he has committed himself to being there for us. When we call on his name, God has a way of navigating us supernaturally. Therefore, we must pray without ceasing, and continually.
God’s main aim is to build a house full of believers. The church is not a building, the church is us; God’s house built by stones. Christ is the living Stone, the chief cornerstone. The more you grow in your salvation, the more you realise and discover Christ as a living stone in you.
The scriptures tell us to call on the name of the Lord in our day of trouble, knowing he will deliver us. We are not permitted to have what we have not said or asked God for. To experience the riches of the Lord, we must call on the name of the Lord. When we call on the name of the Lord, God not only hears us but draws near to us.
All things work together for those that love God. Those who are called according to his purpose, are the only ones who have the capacity to love God, because loving God is not natural to human beings. It is God that gives us the initial spark to love him. To walk by faith, there must be love for God in place. Faith has two dimensions, our minds and our hearts. We must therefore examine our hearts and feelings towards God. Gods love for us, provokes our love for him, because he first loved us.
There is authority in the word of God. Every time the word of God is preached, in its truth and context, faith comes alive in our hearts. Faith is generated by the word of God. The power of preaching exposes demonic forces assigned against us. The preaching of God's word creates a platform for God to manifest his promises. Without preaching, these promises become compromised.
Scripture has taught us, that whenever we are afraid, our trust must remain in God. Even when we do not see situations changing, our confidence must remain in God. We should not lean on our flesh, and put our confidence in the strength of man. The beauty and colour of our lives depends fully on our trust in God. When we trust God for his favour our results compared to others, are simply supernatural.
Faith is not a religious theory or a Christian philosophy, but faith is power, victory, and a weapon for the believer. It is a necessary tool to win! To boost our faith, we must continue to focus our energy on developing our faith. Everyday we must do what is necessary to boost our faith, in order to believe to the end. When we do this, it gives us strength to trust God until the very end.
Spiritual growth is not automatic.; it doesn’t occur with time but with practice. To grow as a believer, you must have an insatiable desire for God’s word. When you become born-again, there is a craving for God’s word inside of you but you have to actively develop it.
One of our biggest agendas in life, as Christians, should be to find favour with God. Joseph and Esther are some of the key people in scripture, who obtained favour from God. To obtain this favour, we must be willing to please God. In pleasing the lord, we are also able to move into our destiny. Pleasing God starts with walking in faith, and delighting ourselves in His word.
As Christians there are 2 major areas, we must find favour in: favour with God and favour with man. The clearest definition of favour is simply when God is with a person. As we walk with God, he will favour us in a supernatural way. But to receive favour this from God, we must obey him and do so promptly! Our obedience paves a way for us. As we obey, step into higher levels of favour!
A man of God is simply a Man who walks with God. One cannot be a man or woman of God and still be engaging in sin. To be genuine men and women of God, there are things we must do, including keeping our spiritual garments clean, being prayerful and separating ourselves from negative company! If we want to be vessels of great honour and ready for the masters use, we must keep ourselves pure.
The victory that overcomes the world is our faith; it takes faith to overcome. Once you operate by faith, your victory is certain. If you are out of faith, you are at the mercy of conditions and situations. Faith guarantees your victory, your testimony and the outcome of your life.
The scriptures show us, the resurrection gives our salvation validity. Our point of confidence is in the resurrection, as death was not able to hold Jesus captive. We know that Jesus is alive, and he is lord even in the grave. With this, we can say with confidence, that our preaching is not in vain, and our faith is not empty, because Christ is risen.
To be filled with the Holy Spirit, we must be desperate. Hosting the Holy Spirit requires us to engage him and be aware of his presence, making a conscious effort. We must acknowledge the Holy Spirit in every decision we make and step we take. Becoming drunk in the Holy Spirit, starts with a desire and longing to be filled. We must not give up on our thirst, the longer we remain in his presence the greater the infilling and the greater the impact. As we continue to press in prayer, and host his presence, we are able to align ourselves with God’s plan for our lives and destiny.
Ending the year well means to start the next year well. To end the year well, you must thank God, think God, trust God and travel with God. Don’t wait for life to happen; make life happen. Your best days are not behind you as long as you are standing in faith.
We celebrate Christmas because it is the arrival of the Holy Child, the Eternal King, our Messiah. Christmas is special as it shows us the promise, goodness, love and saviourhood of God. He is our Saviour and our Redeemer. This Christmas, know that God is with you (Emmanuel).
One of the clear signs of a believer is an affinity and love for the Word of God. If we don’t deal with malice, guile, hypocrisy, envy and evil speaking, it impacts and affects our appetite for God’s Word. The attitude of all Christians towards God’s word should be like that of new-born babes; we should desire the word like babies desire milk.
Persistence and consistency matters when it comes to receiving from God, it makes all the difference in heaven. We must not give up to quickly. If we hinge our faith on Gods word, we will see the workings of the word in our lives. If we believe the word, we must speak it, and act it. We must not remain quiet, but take what God has said and declare it!
God doesn’t need us to be in a better state when we come to him, but he does need us to come with our faith! As Christians, our faith may come under attack, but the word tells us we must not be afraid, and only believe. We must believe God enough to see his glory in our lives.
God is rich in mercy, meaning that there is always room for us in him as Christians. There are things that happen, which can open us up to negative elements. However, when we enter Gods presence, there are things we can do to trigger the mercy of God that protects, and sustains us. The mercy of God covers us, defends us and protects us.
After we gives our lives to Christ, our souls also need to be sanctified. It takes the blood of Christ to purify us from sin and it takes the word to purify our hearts and soul to serve the Living God. The more you are hearing, reading, studying, memorising and applying the Word of God, the more your soul is being cleansed and sanctified.
God called you and saved you according to His own purpose and grace, meaning that there is an agenda for your salvation. There is a reason behind why God saved you. This will never come to pass outside of salvation or outside of His Word. All the miracles and promises of God for your life can only be materialised in through the hearing of the Word. It takes the gospel to bring to light these realities. The gospel gives life.
Being redeemed means to free from bondage or slavery by paying a price. We are redeemed; Christ came to pay the price to redeem us. The preciousness of the blood redeems us from sins, transgressions, lawlessness, the curse of the law and our vain ways of living
God Himself calls us onto His type of holiness. You can’t meet the standard of heavenly demands without heavenly supply. We are called to holy behaviour based on God’s nature in us. God’s nature in us gives us the empowerment and enablement to act holy. God’s disciplining of us helps us to partake in His holiness.
The salvation of your soul takes an entire lifetime. Progressive salvation is the salvation of your soul; you are being made free from the power of the indwelling sin. When we take up our cross and deny our souls, it makes the indwelling sin lose strength over us.
The gospel contains all the spectrum of God's salvation. Salvation is in three stages; we have the initial salvation of our spirits, progressive salvation of our souls and the final salvation of our body. As we serve God continually, we shall receive the end of our faith which is the saving of our souls.
The beginning of our salvation is dependent on God. As believers, we have eternal salvation and eternal life because we are the sons of God and we have the life of Christ. The source of what is keeping us is the power of God, the means is through our faith and the result is our salvation.
God is a family conscious God, this is one of the reasons why he is referred to as a father. a father is part of a family. God cares about our families, he will not bless us alone and leave our families behind. Just like God remembered Rahab and her family, he will remember us and the people we love.
Faith is not an idea, it is ‘the substance', it makes what we hope for possible. Having faith means we have the substance of what has not yet physically materialised.
As believers, our hope is a living hope. When you become born again, there’s an automatic hope that is generated in you; it’s called the hope of glory. There is hope for your future because we have been born again into a living hope. Don’t lose hope, don’t give up because the days ahead are glorious.
God is the instrumental cause of our salvation. He is the mastermind behind us being born-again. If you are born again, grace was allocated to you before the world began. When Jesus comes, grace comes. Anyone who has Jesus in their life receives grace. You can only do the things of God by grace.
God answers based on us calling His Name. When we ask in His Name it shall be given unto us. This message teaches us what happens, when we call on the name of the Lord. When we call on the name of the Lord the following things happen: God hears us, he comes down to help us, he will show us what to do and raises a deliverer or a prophet on our behalf.
When you come to Christ, it’s not about the things you have done in the past, it’s about what He has done for you. When you become born again, you have already been chosen; now, it’s time to walk in obedience. The Holy Spirit sanctifies us unto obedience. He gives us a new inclination and desire to please God.
By virtue of being a Christian, you’re a pilgrim. You’re aware of the fact that this is not your home. As a believer, God chose you from the beginning, before you even heard the gospel. Your best life cannot be here.
To obey God’s instruction we must be able to hear from him. Hearing ears are a necessity when working with God. If God wants to do anything for and with you, he will first give you a word. We must be able to hear for our faith to come alive in our spirits. This requires us to have circumcised ears.
The bible lets us know, that those who put their trust in the Lord will not be put to shame. By believing in Jesus, that he is the sure foundation stone in Zion, we will not be shaken or put to shame. We must not let the storms of life distract us but keep our eyes fixed on Jesus. Even when things look confusing, we must hold on to the conclusion that God is turning our mourning into dancing.
An apostle is someone who says exactly what the person who sent them has said in the same manner. Peter was an apostle to the Jews. Peter was the first pastor, not because of his training, education or clothes but because of his love for God. There is no way you can live the Christian life without love, faith and hope.
We must look for the God factor in every area of our lives, this means that God must be the builder, maker and foundation; of the important areas of our lives. In everything we encounter, from relationships to any personal pursuits, there must be a God factor within it. To do this, we must make a shift from focusing on how we feel, to walking by faith and see what God is impressing on us. Building our lives on a Godly foundation is an essential part of this. We must make the choice to walk by faith. When we do this, we put our confidence in God and move away from fear
If you are in Christ, you have been destined unto glory. The pathway to the glory of God is suffering for Christ. Don’t shun away from suffering if it means taking a stand for Christ. You’re not qualified for the glory if you are not willing to suffer for Christ.
Every Christian has a race to run, but we must run this race in such a way that we obtain the Prize ahead. As we contest for this Prize, a crown of Glory, it is necessary for us to be temperate in all things. Restrictions must be in place for us to receive the trophy in our Christian walk. To ensure that we are not disqualified, we must bring our bodies under subjection. In order to attain the prize, as Paul encourages us to do.
When we become born again we are introduced to a number of spiritual realities, and unseen things. Therefore, being a true worshipper is not based on the things we can see and touch, or our natural senses or norms. It is based on the condition of our hearts, and the genuineness of our worship. Thus, when we gather to worship our spirits are one, we become one body. It is by the virtue of Jesus Christ that we become one, and we must not exempt ourselves from the gathering of the brethren.
The purpose of stones is for building; the house of God is built with stones. When you become born again by the seed of God’s Word, we become stones. We were created as dust but the life of Christ makes us living stones. If you are in Christ, you are a living stone used for the building of God’s house.
From the scriptures, we see that as Christians, when faced with difficult situations, God comes to our aid against our enemies. Approaching God in prayer, and calling on his side of battle changes the dynamics of any situation. We must prepare and tackle spiritual battles by prayer, engaging the Lord of hosts who is equipped to defend and fight for us. Now that we are in Christ, we are now in a covenant with God and have the assurance that we will not be put to shame.
Everything about Christianity is built on Christ. In the book of Acts, Christ is portrayed as a ”stone”. As believers, this Stone Jesus is precious to us and we will serve Him until the end. Christ is our Rock of Ages; if you are building without Christ, it is going to sink one day. Without Christ, nothing that heaven is doing in your life is complete.
From scripture we see that to obtain a good report of faith, faith steps are required. However, to obtain this good report, we must prepare accordingly, and exercise a large amount of faith efforts and steps. We can only do this by feeding our faith. Faith remains a wish until it involves our works; it must show in every aspect of our lives as Christians. We as Christians must have a faith that heaven can testify of.
There is a church culture that we have to be taught. There is a way to behave in church that does not come naturally. So, what is the church culture? It's is a culture that is only defined by the dictates, demands and didactics of scripture. We are not of the world, we are of the Word therefore, we have to live our lives based on the Word.
The resurrection of Christ was part of God’s recovery program for Christians. In Biblical numerology, the 7th day is the day of completion. Jesus resurrected on the 8th day. The 8th day signifies a new beginning, the old is gone and it’s a new day. The resurrection of Christ is an introduction to something new for us as Christians. Despite what we may have experienced in the past, there is always a new day. God has a plan for us and He does not make mistakes, but we must tarry as His plan will surely come to pass.
Mercy is life-changing. Every act of mercy is a demonstration of God's faithfulness. Once you discover mercy, you begin to encounter the faithfulness of God. When mercy speaks for you, the outcome of your life will be different.
Mercy is to excuse someone of a deserved judgement. Mercy is an event to be grateful for because it prevents something unpleasant and provides relief from harm. When God shows us mercy, He is excusing us of the judgement we deserve. As a believer, you must know how to provoke, access and activate the mercies of God
To be a beneficiary of what God is doing, we must be in the spirit. This requires a great amount of discipline. We cannot do this when living and operating in the flesh, meaning we are outside of Gods will and desire. As born again Christians we cannot live in the flesh, but we must be in the spirit to discern spiritual things. We must focus our minds on the things that please God. and have a relationship with him.
Salvation is a gift to the sinner, not a reward to the righteous. Salvation is a gift of life; it’s not a reward of accreditation or recognition. Through salvation, we have forgiveness of sins, are justified, redeemed and are lifted up in Christ Jesus in heavenly places. God showed us mercy and put His love on display by saving us and giving us life through Christ.
Genuine faith doesn't give up hope. As believers, we live by faith; once your faith fails, you are dying. Satan’s ultimate agenda is to fight your faith. If your faith is in place, Satan and his works will be displaced out of your life and your situation. Your faith is under trial so fight to stay in faith! The one who is in true faith will always win.
Every Christian must target to be a good student of the Bible. To be effective in your walk with God, it’s not enough to be a Bible believer, you must be a Bible reader. The deeper you go in the Word, the stronger your relationship with God. The main purpose for reading your Bible is to feed your Spirit and to be closer to God.
There are vital keys for understanding the Bible. Without these, you can’t get understand word of God. God cannot be researched, God is revealed. God cannot be discovered, He reveals Himself. It takes the Spirit of God to understand the Bible therefore it can only be understood by a person whose spirit is subjected to God. The more your spirit is open to God with reverence, the more you will understand the Bible.
The most essential doctrine of Christianity is the Bible being the pure, infallible, inerrant Word of God. The word of God is a living word and a Word that gives life. God wants us to know Him through His word. If you don’t read your Bible daily, you are running at a deficit as a believer. The devil loves to steal God’s word from God’s people so you have to hold onto His word firmly. How do you do this? You must hear, read, study, teach and apply the Word.
You cannot go far in God if you have not been through the wilderness. Wilderness moments are a moment of trial that comes to test your faith. These moments put quality into your walk with God. Wilderness moments are a place of testing, polishing, justifying and qualifying. Will you pass the test or not?
You cannot be a part of the church if you have not been justified by God, reconciled to God and redeemed. Once you are redeemed, you must grow spiritually. Spiritual growth has everything to do with your ability to walk in the spirit. Don’t be carnal. Don’t be fleshy. Be spiritual and be a full born Christian in Christ.
Anytime sin comes into play, the wrath of God must be displayed. The holiness of God requires that he must have wrath against. You can never be a Christian without being justified because of the issue of sin. In order to be redeemed a payment must be made; the payment for our sins is the blood of Christ. The real blessing of Christianity is that one's sin has been forgiven; God does not have a problem with you because of Christ.
Everyone has lust; lust is the internal inclinations of a person that produces ungodly works. If you are in the flesh, there’s no way you can honour God. God only operates from the spirit. If you don’t sort out the lust of the flesh, you cannot please God. The flesh is always looking for an opportunity to act so don’t make room for it to fulfil its desires. Every Christian has to strive to walk in the spirit otherwise the flesh will let you down.
Covenants have to do with people, a person or a place. God has a place of His choice so His covenant can work for us. There is a place in Jerusalem called ‘Mount Zion’. Zion is the church, the choice and dwelling place of God. Zion typifies the church in its heavenly, spiritual and eternal state. If you are born again, you have come to Mount Zion.
The place of covenant is your place of advantage, refuge upper hand, lifting and rising. The place of covenant is the only place where God can bring to bear His promises in our lives. God values the covenant you have with a place and the covenant you have with people. Don’t detach yourself from the place of covenant because God is a God of covenant. If you can stay in the place of covenant, you will be taken care of.
The core of the mystery of Christianity is that God was manifested in the flesh. Jesus is both the Son of God and Son of Man; He is truly God and truly man. Jesus is the only man that is perfect. That’s why He was able to save us. The saving faith comes as a result of believing that Jesus is God.
Who is Jesus and do you know Him? Everything is hinged on these two questions. The question about who is Jesus is cardinal; If you get these two questions wrong, you will get everything about God wrong. You can’t get these questions wrong and have it right with God. If you preach anything other than Christ, you have diverted people away from God.
Everything in Christianity is hinged on the single understanding and revelation of Christ. The mystery of Christianity is not necessarily in its teachings but the mystery of Christ; God captured in humanity. You have to believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God. You can’t be a Christian and believe in a Jesus that the scriptures didn’t give to us. Who is Jesus to you?
The church is a community of people, not a business but a body! Jesus died for the church, not the world, but he gave himself so that anyone in the world can become a part of the church. The definition of church is Christ in every single one of us, and there are 5 aspects of the church life. Therefore, being part of a church a great privilege.
There is a difference between a church goer and a Christian. Every genuine Christian has an attraction to God's word! When you become born again, you become a default member of the body of Christ, which is the universal church. As a Christian, you must belong somewhere, at a local church in the body of Christ. The life of Christ in us is what we called the church life and it is a cooperate life.
Going down to Egypt means letting your heart depart from God. God promised Abraham a land and descendants but he was landless and childless. Abraham trusted God to give Him his land and his descendants and God did not fail Him. Though times may seem difficult, don’t change your approach. Seek God’s face, trust in God, do His work and keep His word. Don’t go down to Egypt.
The purpose of Adam was to have ‘Toledah Toledah’. Toledah toledah is the Hebrew word for generations. God used the generation of Adam to pave the way for the heavenly man (Christ) to come into fruition. The generations of Adam are the workings of God through Christ to produce Jesus. Are you of the first Adam or the last Adam? When you are in Christ, you are of the last Adam.
Christ came in the likeness of sinful flesh to save us. If you can look to Christ, you will have life. God did what the law could not do through the flesh by sending Christ to draw us near. Draw near in putting your faith in Christ.
There is a law that governs righteousness. Christ came to fulfil the law, that's why He is the end of it. You can’t understand the gospel if you don’t know what happened in Genesis; Adam's sin caused man to transgress the law of God. Once you are in Christ, you are delivered from the liabilities and penalties of the law
Life is full of seasons. As long as we remain on this earth, there will be a season for everything. You might go through a season of difficulty or hard times, but this is not permanent. Jesus also went through such a season. For Christ, the cross was that season but, it wasn’t permanent. The only permanent thing in life is God’s word and God’s promise. If you are going through a time or season that seems difficult or frustration, rest assured that it is not the end and there are better days ahead.
If God is going to speak to you, He will do so through an authorised agent (prophet). A prophet is someone who speaks forth on behalf of God in the interest of God’s eternal agenda. You cannot accept Jesus and detach Him from the prophets. The testimony of Jesus is the core, the essence and the spirit of prophecy.
Life can be challenging and come with unexpected incidents and situations. God will not give up on you, so don’t give up on God. In the difficult times and in the stress of life, count your blessings and not your burdens
Christ’s death on the cross is not an ordinary death. It’s a redemptive death; don’t normalise it. To believe in Christ means you are eating His flesh and drinking His blood.
Patiently waiting for God is hard work. Seasons change, but God doesn’t change. You have to trust that God will keep His word. If you are going to have confidence in God, you need patience. This is not the time to give up. Don’t cast away your confidence; it has great recompense of reward.
Before the fall, plant life was for feeding. After the fall, they needed the animal life for feeding and redeeming. Jesus is the Lamb of God for our feeding and for our redeeming. This is why He said we should eat His flesh and drink His blood. To eat Christ means to believe in Christ. When you believe in Christ, it means you are feeding on Him.
According to Romans 6:22, we have been set free from sin to become slaves of God. If you are a genuine servant, you will serve. There must be clear behavioural marks that shows you’re a genuine slave of Christ. To obey the law of God, it takes the spirit, the love and obedience of a slave.
We must desire to know Christ by revelation. For no man can teach us Christ, he must be revealed via the Holy Spirit. When Christ is uncovered in our lives he will always point us towards the church. It is the Christ in each of us that forms the gloriously heterogeneous church. It is important we understand the meaning of being redeemed by Christ and his purpose for redeeming us.
Genuine love for Christ will result in love for his people and authentic faith translates into loving the Saints. In order to go deeper into Christ, we must be prepared to be sold out for the church. We should have a natural desire to spend and be spent for the sake of the church. Being dedicated to the work puts you in a position for God to reveal the mysteries of Christ to you.
Just as the deer pants for the water, so must our souls should yearn for God. We must have such a thirst for God, above everything else, with all our hearts. Our thirst and passion for God is what distinguishes us.
Christ's death on the cross accomplished 5 important things, one of which being the breaking of the middle wall. As a result of this, both Gentiles and Jews have access to God by one Spirit. How God was able to make the church one new man is the mystery of Christ.
Christ and his purpose in the creation of the church is the mystery of God which was hidden from the sons of men. After the creation in Genesis, the next time God created was after the resurrection of Christ when he created the church. It is in the church the manifold wisdom of God is expressed, making the church his masterpiece.
When outside of Christ the veil remains un-lifted so the mystery’s of Christ can not be revealed. However, when you turn to the Lord the veil is taken away and you can be transformed into his image. The more you feed on Christ, the living bread, the more you become like him and receive new life.
There are things that God has hidden within himself that can only be revealed through the Holy Spirit. For example, the manifestation of Christ is the mystery of God. God has chosen us to be a part of the church, the bride of Christ the last Adam. The purpose of the church was to be God's companion and house. This was his agenda from the beginning in Genesis when he made the first Adam and it will be fulfilled when Christ marries the church in revelation.
There are things that operate in the kingdom of God that are mysteries. One of the mysteries is impartation, impartation of anointing. There are aspects of partaking in the impartation, some of which include seeing, hearing and touching. We must not take impartation of anointing for granted, as Christians we must be sensitive to catch the anointing.
When it comes to dealing with God, we must be righteous. We as human beings are not righteous, but Christ lived a righteous life that we might partake of it. Christ was able to pay for our debt of sins and remove the amenity with God. Everything that came from God points to Christ, including the law of God. Everything done by the prophets pointed to Christ and his righteousness, including the law. The law of God shows us that there is another means to be righteous before God, aside from the law itself.
The mystery of Godilness is so great, even the most brilliant mind couldn’t understand it. A mystery is something that is veiled and must be revealed. God was manifested in the flesh is one great mystery. The law of God was meant to bring life, but it brought death because of our sin. But what the law could not accomplish, God did. God came to fulfil the law himself. In this is the mystery of Godliness
There is peace in the blessing of God. To be blessed means to be authorised to generate or produce a certain type of result on earth. God keeps you when He blesses you. For God to keep you, there is a role you must play; you must keep yourself in His love by obeying His word.
If you think a little bit about life, you will invariably ask what life is about. When you face the realities of life, you will ask what you must do to be saved. There is only one way to be saved; through faith in Christ. The starting point is calling on the name of the Lord Jesus because there is no other name through which you can be saved.
The Christian life begins with faith and is sustained with love towards God. As believers, we must continue in the faith and ensure we do not walk away from the hope of the gospel; they work hand in hand. Faith, love and hope are the three dimensions of a Christian life. If these three abound in us, we will experience the great blessing we have in God.
Going to church does not make you a Christian, just like staying in a garage doesn’t make you a car. Being a Christian is not based on what you are wearing, the cross you own or the church you attend. Being a true Christian is birthed from within. When you are a Christian, it shows in your love for Christ, hatred for sin and faith and love for God's Word.
Every turn away from something means turning away to something. Repentance is to do a U-turn and start moving Godwards. When a person has genuinely repented, they take sin seriously; sin breaks their heart. True repentance will lead you to turn away from sin and to walk with God in the way of His word.
The sin problem is a big problem. On the path of man, it takes repentance to achieve forgiveness of sins. On the part of God, it takes redemption to achieve forgiveness of sins. Jesus said He came to call sinners to repentance, not the righteous. How do you overcome sin? Repent!
Life is better when we walk by faith. As believers, our fight is actually a fight of faith. The quality of your faith is determined by how much strong your faith is in God’s word. If you don’t fight, you can’t keep your faith to the end. If you can hold on tight to God’s word, you will not fall off and you will keep your faith to the end.
Genuine faith holds onto the word of God. If your faith is genuine, there’s no way you can be disappointed. When genuine faith is tested, it grows. When it comes under pressure, genuine faith produces good results.
In the scriptures, all of those who received from Jesus had living faith. Faith is the full cycle of belief. If you believe, there will be corresponding works that follow. Faith comes by hearing, works by speaking and lives through actions. If faith works, then your faith must work and you must know how to work it.
The Christ rejecting generation is an evil generation. The death of Christ saves us from eternal damnation and His life saves us from a wicked generation. If you want a brand new world, you need people with a renewed heart. Jesus is the only one who can change our hearts from the inside out.
Outside of Christ, you cannot perfect holiness. Holiness is a function of the Holy Spirit. In order to perfect holiness, you need the Holy Spirit, Holy Scriptures (word of God), to be eternity minded, discipline, prayer, vigilance and to fear God. If you give yourself to these practices, you will develop your holy walk with Him.
By virtue of the fact that you are in Christ, you are sanctified. To stay in the way of righteousness, you must adhere to the commandments given to us. You can’t look like God if you are not walking in holiness. Once you begin to practice righteousness, it ends up in holiness. Remain separated, sanctified and holy.
Amongst God’s people, leaven stands for sin, hypocrisy and wrong teachings. The people of God must stay far away from leaven as we know a little leaven leavens the whole lump (Galatians 5:9). In order to make it in The Way, we must watch out against the little leaven and feed on wholesome words which include the word of God and sound doctrine.
The Word of God is primarily and fundamentally for feeding; to nourish the spirit of man and nourish our walk in God. The Word of God taught in its purity is sound doctrine, healthy words and wholesome teachings. These wholesome words make you do well in God. They strip you of self and help generate godliness in you. As you expose yourself to wholesome words you, should be able to communicate wholesome words and keep Satan at bay.
Salvation is the start, but it is not the end. It’s the beginning of a journey called The Way. As soon as you start walking with God, you are a member of The Way. The main way to thrive in The Way is to come to the knowledge of truth (Christ) through the Word. Modern, but the message is unchanged; the Word of God is timeless and will polish you.
Life is a journey and the way and destination is Christ. Everyone has got an assignment because the Christian course is a race (The Way). To finish your course requires a lot of work; you don’t have time to trot, you’ve got to keep running. No matter what is happening, one thing should always be on your mind; there’s a race to run and finish.
Jesus is our High Priest, after the order of Melchizedek. He is the mediator of the new covenant, making it a surety that we can come to God. He has gone to appear in the presence of God for us, to intercede for us.
By the blood of Jesus, we are able to come to God in boldness. When we come to God, we must come with purity, humility, fidelity and sincerity. If we want to enjoy the High Priestly role that Christ plays in our lives, then we need to do what is necessary to allow God to work in our lives, and what pleases Him.
Being a human means we have sins and flaws, but Jesus came to die for our sins. In order for Jesus to be a high priest, He must also be a shepherd. A shepherd cares and guides us. Jesus, as our high priest, is compassionate, He has gone to heaven to bear us before God and is interceding for us. We, as Christians, have a heavenly carer, Jesus. But we will suffer the same fate of unbelievers if we fail to believe He cares for us.
When you worship from your spirit, your worship cannot be stifled, quenched, or diverged away from God. When you truly know the God you worship, you worship from your burning heart for God, and there is nothing that will be able to stop your worship. This is the worship God is asking of us, a burning heart worship, from a heart set ablaze for God.
