Knowing your future can shape your present. In Afterlife, we discover why our ideas about what happens after life can change this life.
Knowing your future can shape your present. Have you ever wondered about what happens after this life? Have you ever wrestled with the big questions - Is there really a heaven? Am I good enough? What if I'm not? Those big questions can leave us wondering. But we don't have to live in fear. In AfterLife, discover why our ideas about what happens after life can change this life.

Jesus. Who is he? What was he like? There are a lot of thoughts and opinions about him. More words have been written about him than anyone else. But what did he say about himself? Who did HE think he was?

We’ve all been labeled - had things assumed about us that aren’t true… and the truth is, we do this with God, too. We go through life and we think we know all about Him… We’ve heard of Jesus… heard of the 10 Commandments… We know a lot of the rules… but do we know who He truly is? Do we know what He’s really like?

The Grinch tried to steal Christmas but failed. But there are other grinches that try to steal, not only Christmas but our hope and joy. How can we stop the Grinch?

Our words have power. Power to build up or tear down. We should use our words to give life, not take life. Remember: critical words come from a critical heart.
Our words have power. Power to build up. Power to tear down. Gossip reveals more about us than who we're gossiping about. We need to be sure to speak what's helpful, not hurtful.
Our words have power. Power to build up and tear down. We use our words to speak truth because lies enslave us, but the truth frees us.
Adam Turner Senior Minister Corinth CC
In this message series from Corinth, we're exploring how to use our words to build up, not tear down.
Interestingly, our words reveal what's going on inside us, more than what's going on around us.
A faith that is not passed on will be passed up. Our greatest legacy will be who we raise up. How can we hand off the faith to the next generation?
What happens when we die? Do I really have to forgive? Why is there so much pain and suffering in the world?
Does prayer really work? How does someone put their faith in Jesus? What does the Bible say about suicide?
Do bad things happen because of our family's sins? Why doesn't my daddy go to church? How do I know God's will for my life?
Is it ok for a Christian to drink, cuss, or chew? Why do we sing on Sundays? Where did the devil come from?
The Bible doesn't say that there are many ways to God - but only one. Jesus is exclusive in His claim but inclusive in his offer.
The Bible doesn't say that we should never judge, but that good judgment comes from a generous spirit, not a critical spirit.
The Bible doesn't say that God helps those who help themselves, but rather, God helps those who CAN'T help themselves.
The Bible doesn't say that "God will never give you more than you can handle." But God DOES promise that He will never give you more than HE can handle.
