The Tailor, Raconteur and TV"s Mr Smooth are back and bearing up in July's heat. We heard about Dave's latest award revelation, alongside Mr GB's tips for staying cool in the sun, before we turned up the heat with some beautifully crisp deep house, chugging swagger, and a funk lined odyssey.

The theme for this month's episode was heat - warm air and warm sounds, as the chaps felt the heat and applied more on to the dance floor. A chuggy, 110bpm 80's rework set from Andy Medlock, followed by new cosmic disco sounds from Dave Tomkins, finished off by a set from Ginger Beatnik of loved treasures ably remixed by the likes of the Reflex, LNTG and more.

Welcome to another episode of the Second City Sounds series of podcasts.
This time your host is Dave Tomkins, with a recording taken from the incredible January SLAM Livestream event . SLAMusic are collective of DJ's and crate diggers and have been broadcasting live stream events monthly during lockdown for the last 12 months, whilst their awesome regular London club night is chilling on ice.
This 60 minute episode sees Dave T taking us on a different journey with wonderful excursion into a selection of pure melodic blissed out tunes, hugging a lower paced groove.
