The Music created during my life, which recently, received a Spiritual Jump Start as such. Described in a phrase, BubbleGum-Sabbath... lol.. but you will see there is many variations and mixtures in styles.
This is a complete remix with the original 1997-2001 multi-tracks. I worked on the drums and have acquired better software and audio system components, so I hope this is an improvement. :-)
As per Spreakers' tech requirements, this file is 16bit, 44.1kHz MP3. The version uploaded to my Soundcloud account is 24bit, 48kHz FLAC:

This song was conceived in the late 90's with the final mix in 2002. But this is a remix of those original tracks with new drums added by Zeph Daniel, a podcaster and musician here on Speaker.

Oh, Ancient One
W&M by James Arthur Jancik (C) & (P) 1997-2002-2018
The Ancient One, my Old Friend;
The One who walked before, the One who'll walk again.
The Ancient One of old, with wisdom for the new;
Revive our inner sight, retell Your timeless Truths. Oh, Ancient One!
Oh Wankan Tanka, Great Spirit of Living Light;
Who heals from within, Who's healing light brings life.
The One who is but Love, Who's Love is all about;
Who's Breath is in us all, come bring within without, Oh, Ancient One!
The End beyond out means,
The Depths beyond the sea,
Great Light shadows the sun,
Hear my words Oh Ancient One!
Although you are the Great,
You tarry with the small,
Love flows in and out,
Never giving up You live within, until within's without.
Come set our souls afire Oh Most Ancient of Days!
My life, my life, my life OUR LIVES!
My dreams, my dreams, my dreams OUR DREAMS!
My hope, my hope, my hope, OUR HOPES!
My love, my love, my love OUR LOVE!
Ancient One! I hear Your calling!
Ancient One! Our lives are longing!
Ancient One! Sweet inspiration!
Ancient One! Raise my expectations!

In the late 90's I had an idea for a song inspired by a poem a lady I knew. I spend over a year looking for Native American singers as I had a clear picture of what I wanted. After several leads failed, I gave up. I remeber clearly talking out loud to God.. "Well, if this is to have Native American singers, Your gonna have to do something about that. I tried."
Right after that I was fingering though a music creators magazine and BAM an ad poped out at me for ACID LOOPS of, you guessed it, with Native American singers and intruments!
After fooling around recording a bit, I put together the mix uploaded here in about 2002. I played all instuments and programmed the drums, hit by hit, in Sonic Foundry's ACID programs using drum samples, some of which I recorded from Dave Pliss in Indianapolis. Ann McWilliams (of the Ann Mcwilliams Band) along with Dave added the background vocals and "Oh, Ancient One" was born.
As time passed I was able to listen to it as a song, rather then a project and it has grown to mean much to me. It is my "Little Drummer Boy" so to speak. Both a gift to and from my Heavely Father. When I feel down, disconnected, and loose hope, I can play thing song and instantly I am touche by my loving Creator. Tears of joy are not uncommon with the overwheming sence of love I feel.
That is just personal and this song need not touch you as deeply. But I hope you like it! I have posted it via YouTube with the lyrics at: https://youtu.be/1T4cEv5CCig
Zeph Daniel, a podcaster and musician here on Speaker has agreed to remix the song in his home studio and play a new drum track to it and will be posted soon. Inspired by his interest, I have gone back into my studio and added new drum sounds (samples) and I am currently remixing this original piece. It will be the same but better sonically. Will post that when I am finished.

I was working on a lady's computer in exchange for information on New Age stuff. An organic group of people formed during this time. Some teachers; some seekers.
Anyway, I got an email from her one day and it was signed "Princess Lava Lava" It was in fun she did not consider herself a Princess... lol. Anyway, Immediately a song popped in my head. Very detailed and very compete. I had many occurances like this, only, I actually got to record it pretty much as it came to me then.
I used Sonic Foundry ACID to create it. I am not sure of the dates. I can dig up my actual song notes later, but this song was about 2000 or so. It was after IOUIOME.
Interesting to note, as I look back, the New Age was empty, and really only taught me people get roped into searching and wanting. (many religions do the same). So as one listens to the song, you hear the understanding of the need to break the "loops" keeping us "chained" to the past. The
New Age did not answer my calling out. After seeking out around various religions and philosophies, I came back to the good ol' teaching of Jesus ;-)
Made around 2001. I created this as both a tribute and my first venture into a dance mix using Sonic Foundry ACID. Later, I used parts of it for the Theme of Feet to the Fire Radio. ( Note just replaced with WAV master version, better sound)
Recorded on a TASCAM 4-Track Cassette at 3 3/4 IPS and mastered to a 2-track Beta Hi-Fi video recorder in 1980/1981. The master tape has 2 tape flaws at the beginning that causes a "skip." But it is the only copy left of the song, and is not that bad, considering no other options.
I wrote recorded and play all instruments, but the Drums; which were played and arranged by Don Cahill. I recorded all tracks before the drums and learned a valuable lesson that one should have a click track or play with a drummer as I sped up and slowed down which forced Don to have to play off-time to come in with me, God bless him!
This was my first attempt at my own recording and producing my songs. Many thanks to Don for his patience!
I used (and still have) a 1979 Gibson SG Standard (w/Humbucker pickups) and a Magnatone tube guitar amp miked with a Shure SM-57. (which I have the mic to this day and STILL works great!... Ah the day when they really made stuff good!)
I wrote this song, played bass, arranged it and recorded with the band, Ladessa Shea' in 1979. Was on a 8-Track 15 ips Open Reel, recorded to a 1/2 track 15 ips master, then recorded to a 1/4 Track open reel at 7 1/2 ips. Transferred it to my computer many moons later and did some mastering modifications on my computer as it was a bit dry sounding and here it is. It was part of a demo for our band to get a record deal.
Sam Maranto sang lead and played rhythm guitar. Lenny played and arranged lead guitar. Don Cahill played drums.
