Because of weeks of work far away from Berlin, this mix comes a little late, sorry for that! What to say about November, except that it is terribly wet and cold and the corona incidences will soon lead to club closings again? I hate this month! No wonder that only cozy and warm house music tracks made it into my charts. I hope you like it!

October. The Oktoberfest, which is popular in Germany, is canceled again due to the Corona rules. So what to do? Go out into nature? Collecting chestnuts with the children? Tinker crowns out of leaves? In any case, do something against colds ! I recommend rose hips! Not only the well-known tea, but also a tomato and rose hip jam are real vitamin C bombs. Yes and of course strengthen the immune system with lots of dancing! Here are my musical vitamin C boosters: Electrofunk, Techhouse, Nu Disco, Rave Techno and Trance. Stay healthy!

September. Summer has passed, autumn is coming slowly. The foliage of the trees is becoming colorful and the songbirds have moved to the south. The hedgehogs collecting apples for the upcoming hard days. One last open air party before we will go back to the techno basement. „April, April, der weiß nicht, was er will!“ - says a German proverb. It describes the inconsistent weather. Sometimes 25 degrees and summer sun, within hours again storms and rain at 5 degrees, mixed with thunderstorms or even snowfall. My charts are just as changeable this month: from jazzy house to sacred NY old school, deep, dark and powerful techno to eighties synthwave and German electro-funk. And of course the classic of the month - this time a breakdance pearl of the early hiphop years. Have fun and have a good swing into spring!

This cover version of P.I.L. is my strangest release and has an interesting story. Once a year there was a very special event in the German techno scene, the so-called BOOKERS NIGHT. A party where everyone involved swapped the roles. Famous DJs worked at the bar, and their managers and bookers occupied the DJ booth and played whatever they like - not just techno. Sven Väth's manager played P.I.L. - This Is Not A Lovesong, a British punk anthem from 1984 and the whole club went nuts. Completely drunk, Holgi Star, Stereo Jack and I decided to turn it into a techno version. Unfortunately, sampling was not possible due to the author's rights, so we decided to produce a cover version. Stereo Jack re-sang the vocals himself and the result was a funny commercial version for big clubs. A German indie label bought the project and pressed 500 promotion vinyls. A week later we entered number 20 oof the German dance charts. One week later, the label's dance music division was closed due to the techno crisis in 2002. The insane sales figures fell suddenly, the Love Parade was dead - the battle for the charts left behind highly indebted record companies. Techno took refuge in Schranz, which was incompatible with the main charts – genre. A ten years rally of money making with techno was over. Our version never hit record stores. and is a rarity today. But we still love this tune!

The idea of this EP was to work with different producers. So for me as a former bouncer (doorkeeper) of a club it was logical to name it "Guestlist EP". This track was the third one on this EP and wa a result of a request by head if kiddaz.fm records DJ Emerson. He knew, that i like to play electrofunk and he was pushing me to wotk on a track in this style to make my upcoming EP more interesting and to get more musical diversity on his label. so he connected me with his main producer Jochen Gühlke. Beter known as Circuit Breker, which was one of the best producer in every broken beat style in Berlin. This track was charted in the TOP TEN of Timo Maas and led me to play with Timo at at the main stage during the big opening of Z14. this is a track we made together as Stereo Jack. It was supposed to release on kiddaz.fm records, but plans changes quickly. We had 2 gigs in Japan, invited by Shin Nishimura. He was just founding his new label PLUS and was looking fpr new tracks. So i agreed to release this tune as a track under the name Stereo Jack. We are good friends, and for us it was not that important, under which moniker our tracks will be released. There was no envy or resentment between us . Этот микс был создан на одном из моих собственных мероприятий с нашей промо-группой pro U.F.O. в "Старой Бойне" в Дрездене. Этот рэйв был для меня особенным, потому что я сам играл только для разогрева и в конце. С полвторого ночи до шести утра транслировались исключительно лайв-экты, исполняемые перед 3000 человек. Под лозунгом "Человек-машина" проходили 1-1,5часовые живые выступления Mijk van Dijk, Anthony Rother, Richard Bartz, Insect O.и Echtzeit. Этот микс записан начиная с шести утра и является смесью исходного звука с пульта и сигналов с двух микрофонов в зале, с целью передать атмосферу концерта. К сожалению и с этого раза у нас осталась только кассета... я надеюсь, её качество не слишком пострадало.
