The Gentlemen have a little too much to drink this episode. Why? Because they're celebrating their acceptance in to iTunes and BeyondPod. After some technical difficulties, they do WAYD?, listen to an announcement from Lord Schwarzenegger and Ryan get electrocuted... or does he? Mad Season brings them back from break in to a long chat about analog music vs. digital music. They do a 2nd WAYD? then talk about Hogs and Heffers closing, Hulk Hogan's racist rant and Ryan's seedy past as a backyard wrestler. It's a mess. Keep your expectations low.
This week's episode of the Dead Raio Podcast starts with a conversation about the successful Kickstarter campaign, WAYD?, seaweed that tastes like bacon and the Nick DiPaolo show the boys went to over the weekend. Mother Love Bone bring the gents back and their obsession with nerd stuff takes hold. Ryan has questions about motorcycle culture, they talk about Black Metal and some news about a couple of local public officials doing naughty things with people they're not supposed to. Keep your expectations low.
The gentlemen start this week's episode with C and O, the saga of Adam's shotgun, W.A.Y.D? and Ryan does his impressions of Becky while Adam listens to TERRIBLE Jazz music. Queen, thankfully, brings them back into a conversation about an FSU Quarterback slugging a girl in the mush, doing dumb shit with fireworks, Ryan has a Shit Story and they talk about the Subway guy. They end with a very intellectual discussion about ball sweat and squirting. Keep your expectations low.
The gentlemen start off with "What Are Ya' Drinkin'" and read Adam's dream notes. Ryan has a story about riding down the Esopus River in an inner tube and they watch the trailer for "I Am Cait". NCM brings them back and they meander in to a chat about the ongoing shark attacks in N.C. and their fear of the ocean monsters. Chris Christie is running for President and they guys find The Donald's Avatar. Keep your expectations low.
The gentlemen start with lightning quick versions of "What Are Ya' Drinkin'" and Corrections and Omissions, they talk about the new podcast host site, watch the trailer for "Soaked In Bleach" and babble about Gay Marriage becoming legal. Rage Against The Machine bring them out of break into a chat about breast milk and a talk about their favorite shitting positions. The guys find out that one of the escaped convicts had a rough day, the Rebel flag is coming down and Ryan is right for the first time ever. Keep your expectations low.
Part 2 of 2 of the WDCC Tapes. Ryan from 2002 tries to hash out a Thong contest while simultaneously keeping the energy as high as possible. Adam's insults come from all angles as the frustration builds and the gents spiral into depression and alcohol dependency. Keep your expectations low.
This week's episode starts off with a double dose of "What Are Ya Drinkin' with Adam", Ryan talks about going knuckle deep and his temporary insomnia which leads to Adam's bouts with insomnia as well as night terrors. Dead Sara brings the gentlemen back from the break, they talk about the ongoing local case of a dead kayaker and some genius replaced the snare drum on Master of Puppets with the snare drum from St. Anger. The Prodigy brings them back from their second break which leads to a discussion about electronic music, Til Lindemann's new project and creating "art". They finish off with a trailer for the reboot of Point Break. Keep your expectations low... for the new Point Break movie as well as the podcast.
In an early post this week, the gentlemen talk about their newly formed Kickstarte campaign, they chat about a Man-Worm's great, big liar of a sister and Ryan takes a phone call from Curtbosch. The guys play Foo Fighters out of the break and talk about Dave Grohl’s little mishap in a foreign land, they chow down on some well cooked crow and finish up with a couple stories of their friend Ryan O’ being a bungler. Keep your expectations low and make sure to check out their Kickstarter!
The gentlemen talk about the break in the "Shit Story" streak, Ryan is involved in a car accident with his wife's chili, iTunes fucks with the boys again and the NRA is being a silly nut. A music review commercial and The Company Band take us out of break. They talk about fancy pants, L. Ron Hubbard's teeth and rely on a production piece when they fizzle out. Keep your expectations low.
The gentlemen recorded a little later than usual this time and decided 2 hours of babbling would make up for it. They start with notes from the Corrections and Omissions department, "What Are Ya' Drinkin' with Adam" leads them in to stories about drinking on the job and Ryan wants his suit to be tailored by a small Italian man. Mastodon brings us back from the break, they talk about the lovely Bailey Jay and Ryan's sexual confusion as well as his bout with food poisoning. Trent Whittemann has another music review, Hiatus Kaiyote brings them back from the second break and Ryan is not pleased. After a long-winded discussion about music, they break down the 3rd/4th wall and Adam talks about running for public office. God help us all. Keep your expectations low.
The gentlemen went short-form this week. They start with a discussion about Caitlyn Jenner; the topic that's on everyone's mind, Ryan wants to "camp harder" and Adam is making a survival tool for a baby. They talk about bad parenting and the "Most Tolerable of" that will be released very soon. Mudhoney takes them out of break, they do "What Are Ya Drinkin' with Adam" and they watch the trailer for Kung Fury. They talk about George Zimmerman getting shot at and new music from Sponge takes them out... they probably should've just stuck to the regular Outro. Keep your expectations low.
The gentlemen start off with a discussion about the stupidity of Indiana and their reactions to the site of blood. After the break, iTunes shits in the boys' cereal, they explore the darker side of surviving in the Apocalypse and Ryan has a shit story... again. Keep your expectations low.
The gentlemen go full nerd this week when they start off with talk about delivery drones, the new Terminator Genisys trailer and time travel. They wish Arnold Schwarzenegger an early birthday and go back talking about weaponized drones and Adam bores himself before the break. Stevie Ray Vaughn's "Life By the Drop" is played out of break to honor his Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction. They talk about Daredevil on Netflix, more new movie trailers, that poor dead cat split right down the middle and end with gay Republicans getting snubbed by straight Republicans. Keep your expectations low.
The gentlemen start the show off right with some technical difficulties, Corrections and Omissions and "What Are Ya' Drinkin' with Adam". More technical difficulties force them into an early break, Adam is allergic to his chickens, Ryan has a swollen testicle and Adam is not a fan of Rosemary Armao and/or Libby Post. After even more technical difficulties, Fu Manchu brings us back and the fellas chat about an old stick-in-the-mud from New Jersey. They talk about boring movies and the Jurassic Park theme brings us in to a demonstration of Adam's ability to manipulate Ryan. Keep your expectations low.
The gentlemen give Starbucks a proper beating, they say a fond "Hello" to Rob Rolison, new @DeadRadioPod follower and show us how out-of-touch thirty-somethings use the Twitter. Bruce Jenner is given the thumbs up, they go over some files from the Corrections and Omissions Department and a discussion about head transplants and clones takes us to break. Death From Above 1979 brings the fellas back and they dive in to a conversation about Alzheimer's, Ryan has a story about an old fossil and they stop the end of the show to give Podbean some verbal abuse. Keep your expectations low.
The gentlemen are back with a considerably shorter episode. It feels like we were just here... They start off with Adam's swell time at the Clutch show, Ryan finally gets to play his "Shit Story" production and they talk about Corey Knowlton, the world's largest Platypus turd. A bootleg copy of Clutch's new song brings them back into a conversation about Ryan's cooking show idea. The gents try to figure out Meerkat, they talk about a Senator that has had enough of Game of Thrones and, naturally, talk about the lovely Peter Dinklage. Adam gets himself in to a "Tie Talk" break and a clip of the late Christopher Evan Welch's performance as Peter Gregory on Silicon Valley carries them to the finish line. Keep your expectation low. Love them? Hate them?
The gentlemen start off with "What're Ya Drinkin? with Adam" and delve into Adam's shadowy past as a bootlegger. "Sweet Transvestite" brings them out of the break and Ryan in to a sing-along. They talk about Arnold's new movie and a sea monster that everyone seems to think is filled with rainbows and sunshine. The guys need to regroup and Crash Test Dummies brings them back from a second break. The music bug bites Adam, Ryan likes two U2 songs and they launch in to a long-winded conversation about vaccinations. They come to a stumbling, bumbling end with a quick story about Ryan's balls and music from the De(a)f Peds. Keep your expectations low
The guys went a little long-form this week. Lots to talk about but, first: audio clips of Ryan tumbling down a hill of mispronounced words, grunts and pauses. They move on to chat about a local politician that took Adam apartment shopping, they watch the Mad Max Colon Fury Road trailer and Adam wants to do beer reviews. Gary Oldman's younger brother, Scott Weiland, can't sing anymore, the gentlemen break and Skindred brings us back and the gentlemen break and Clutch brings us back in to a discussion about a naughty Republican Representative. They talk about Jon Jones and MMA, they reminisce about their favorite concussions and talk completely through the outro music. Keep your expectations low.
