It’s smooth on tarmac and absolutely eats up the terrain off-road. There were a couple of small jerks when the electric motor and internal combustion engine handed over to each other – a bit of friction there – but overall, it ticked every box it aimed for, and did so with confidence.
With up to 43 km of pure electric driving, you can cruise the city or glide through your morning commute without a puff of exhaust –
Charge Up & Power OnNeed juice for tools or toys? Ford’s Pro Power Onboard feature turns this truck into a mobile generator. Choose between:

During our demo, I was especially impressed with the hands-off trailer steering – what’s typically a fiddly, stressful task was made so ridiculously easy I was laughing by the end. Honestly, I could see myself using that feature more on a camping trip than a farm – though, I might just lend it to my farming cousins and see how it holds up on their turf too.
Built Tough, Styled SmartAvailable in three trims – Stormtrak, Wildtrak, and XLT – each variant delivers smart style with zero compromise. Not true.
As we saw, it’s possible to handle a car finance claim yourself, but saying that solicitors won’t help simply isn’t accurate. A good law firm can spot issues that you might miss, challenge unfair rejections, and negotiate stronger settlements.
They also know how to deal with finance companies that try to delay or complicate the process. Although you can start a claim independently, having professional support often makes the journey less stressful and more effective, especially if the case isn’t straightforward.

Unlikely.
There’s no evidence to suggest the government plans to block compensation for mis-sold car finance agreements. Regulators like the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) are leading the review to ensure fair outcomes for consumers, not to shield lenders from the consequences of poor practice.

Another thing you need to do is try and search for similar, new cars. Every brand of vehicle is sold at an inflated price, as a lot of the time, consumers want to pay more for a shiny car that is fresh on the market. Pre-registered models can always be good value. Dealers will register cars like this themselves and they will class themselves as being the first owner so they can make it look like they are meeting their sales targets. Of course, the maximum rate of tax that you might pay is quite a lot, so you need to make sure that you consider things like this.

If you buy a car that has a three-year warranty then this will stay with the car when it is sold. If you buy the car when it is one year into the warranty then you will have two years left on it. Some manufacturers are way more generous here, and in some instances, you can get a five-year warranty. Subaru and Hyundai are all known for doing this and it is a good way for you to get the result you need. You may also find that you can get it serviced properly and extend the warranty even more which is great. In 2023, the carmaker unveiled a new bright Brass Gold colour option for the Toyota Aygo X Air Edition, a special version of the all-new compact urban crossover. This metallic paintwork is in addition to the four “spice” themed shades in which the car was launched in November 2022, which includes Juniper Blue, Chilli Red, Ginger Beige and Cardamom Green. The Brass Gold colour is used as a contrast highlight on two of the spokes on the 18-inch matt black alloy wheels.
The Brass Gold colour is not limited to the exterior of the car. It is carried through to the cabin with matching upper door trims, air vent surrounds and the centre console frame. It is also picked up in the contrast accents on the black fabric seat upholstery. The Aygo X Air Edition comes with a full-length, power-retracting canvas roof as standard. The equipment specification matches the regular Aygo X Edge, which includes a multimedia system with an eight-inch touchscreen and smartphone integration (Apple CarPlay and Android Auto), automatic wipers, reversing camera, front fog lights, and front and rear parking sensors.
The Toyota Aygo X Air Edition also comes with Toyota Safety Sense active safety and driver assistance features. Most motorists should be able to check and fill their own fluid levels, change their own tires, and swap out burned-out light bulbs.

Head Gasket
When a car’s head gasket blows, it is game over for the driver. Professional head gasket repair can be expensive and time-consuming because of the extensive damage it can fix. If you fear your head gasket has burst, it is crucial that you not drive your vehicle.
Transmission
There is no way to drive a car without the transmission, which can be either manual or automatic. Repairing a car is a complex operation that you should not attempt if you are not a trained mechanic. You should let professionals handle fixing the transmission.
Windscreen
Any damage to the windscreen, such as chips or cracks, should be repaired immediately. The discovery of a leak, if attempted to be repaired by the homeowner or left neglected, might cause additional, far more catastrophic problems. Do not even think of trying to fix your car by looking up instructions online; many mechanics know firsthand the havoc that can be wreaked on a vehicle when a customer tries to tackle a repair job on their own and fails to properly instal hoses, resulting in leaks and potential radiator damage.
Gas pump
The gasoline pump is a particularly delicate part of your vehicle. It ensures that the fuel injector in the engine receives the proper pressure. A damaged engine could be irreparably damaged if the driver attempted to fix a faulty fuel pump. The cost of a gasoline pump replacement might be high, therefore it is reasonable that some people would prefer to do the job on their own. The cost of having a mechanic replace the fuel pump is far less than the cost of having to replace the car if the fuel pump was not installed properly.

We got to test drive the elegant Bentley Flying Spur. The quintessential luxury sedan. It has incredible craftsmanship with a very modern and contemporary design. Delivering the ultimate driver and passenger experience. While the Flying Spur also has a special engine. As it has a phenomenal 6L W12 engine or it can also come in a dynamic 4L V8 engine. So you can expect performance like no other in it’s class.
Flying Spur Design The design of the Bentley Flying Spur is something that exudes road presence. It has sleek lines and a wonderful sculpted form which is finished with eye catching details. If you choose the 6L W12 engine your car will have 21″ twin ten spoke bright painted wheels. The option to add an illuminated electronically-deployed flying B mascot. While if you choose the 4L V8 engine you will be able to have the Quad Oval Tailpipes to match the gleaming V8 badging. While both options the gloss painted brake callipers can be chosen in either black as standard or the optional bright red.
Flying Spur Interior Inside there is a ring of Crown Cut Walnut veneer as standard. The warm grain runs seamlessly from the fascia into the doors. Giving you a wonderful sense of space. There is hand stitched leather seats featuring the unique twin flute design. The cabin is filled with handcrafted details such as the sculpted air vents which are in the shape of the Bentley B. There is also a wide floating console which runs through the centre of the car. All the way from the dashboard to the armchair style rear seats.
Performance There is incredible performance. With the powerful 6L twin-turbo charged W12 engine which is iconic for the Bentley. While the other is a race-track proven 4L twin-turbocharged V8. Complete with the V8 Roar!
Power So, the 5L W12 engine can move the Bentley Flying Spur from 0 to 60 in 3.7 seconds. A performance not heard of in a luxury sedan before. While the 4L V8 engine is a lighter car. While slightly less powerful, its reduced weight benefits the car. Both in agility and acceleration. There is a top speed of 198mph and can go from 0 to 60mph in 4 seconds. The V8 exhaust gives the smaller engined car some character.
Control There are 4 driving modes, all available at the turn of a dial. Choose from Comfort, Sport, Bentley and Custom. Sport mode maximises dynamic response, while Comfort mode ensures luxurious cruising, even on bumpy city streets. Bentley mode offers the perfect balance between the two and Custom allows you to configure your own combination of settings.
While the Bentley Flying Spur’s exhaust system features some Adaptive Valve Control. So this offers a more aggressive auditory experience. So that’s either in Sport mode, or in Comfort mode. Giving a discrete murmur instead of an aggressive sound.
Stability It has Bentley Dynamic Ride. Which is an electronic anti-rill system. It is fitted as standard with the W12 configuration. While it can be added as an option to the V8 version. It has powerful electronic motors to stiffen the roll bars automatically when required. To help minimise body roll when cornering. Therefore this means enhanced control when pushing the car to its limits. While it can also offer greater comfort for all when driving every day.
Steering The Bentley Flying Spur has Electronic All Wheel Steering. This is standard on the W12 and optional on the V8. This enables the rear wheels to turn in the opposite direction to those at the front, when travelling at low speeds. So, this has the effect of reducing the cars turning circle. Even in tight city streets in can be manoeuvred with ease. While on the open road, the rear wheels turn in the same direction as the fronts. Allowing the car to glide effortlessly from one lane to another.
Technology There is a central touchscreen and a Touchscreen Remote located in the rear. The infotainment system includes Apple Car Play. So you can access information, communication and media from your smartphone. There is also Realtime Traffic information and Swarm Technology. Which gives you advance warning of unfavourable conditions on your route. Private eCall can also connect you through to the emergency services at the touch of a built-in SOS button.
Always On There is an app called the My Bentley app. This keeps you in constant touch with your car. Check the locks, lights, mileage and fuel, wherever you are.
The Find My Car feature, will let you know wherever your car is. Theft Alert and Perimeter Alert, will be notified the moment your Flying Spur’s alarm is activated, or if it leaves a predefined area, offering you extra peace of mind.
Interactive Pad Furthermore, wherever you sit, you will have complete control. The driver and front passenger can access all the cars features. Thanks to the 12.3″ HD touchscreen. This is embedded into the fascia. While the passengers in the rear can make use of the wireless Touchscreen Remote. This is stored in the centre console. Which is just behind the front seats. This can be removed at any time and used like a tablet. You can control the ventilation, seat settings, music volume and mood lighting. While you can also use it to operate the sunroof, privacy blinds and the Flying B bonnet mascot.
There is also a new Bentley Rear Entertainment system. There is 2 HD 10.1″ screens. This will offer rear passengers lots of entertainment, offering a wide range of content from your subscriptions. Streamed directly from your smartphone.
Audio There’s also lots of tech in the audio! As standard the Bentley’s audio system is designed with the specific dimensions of the cabin in mind. Therefore helping to deliver crisp highs, rich bass and clear mid-tones.
Bentley offer two options a specifically designed Bang and Olufsen system. Which features 16 active loudspeakers and a powerful 1,500 watt BeoCore amp. Which is operated via the unique Beosonic haptic interface, integrated seamlessly with the cars infotainment system. Offering four audio modes. Bright, Energetic, Warm and Relaxed.
For the audiophiles, there is the Naim for Bentley sound system. This handcrafted system offers a range of modes to optimise the in-cabin soundstage. Which is based on your musical preferences and where in the car you choose to sit.
Flying Spur Personality You can choose 7 colours of Bentley Flying Spur if you choose the V8. While if you choose the W12 there are 16.
Whichever option you choose, the optional Extended and Mulliner paint ranges add over 80 more colours . Better yet, if there is still a choice to be made. A Mulliner Bespoke Paint can be created to match any colour you want!
Also, there is a choice of 21″ and 22″ optional wheels, all in various finishes. Including gloss black, allow you to tailor the exterior styling of your Flying Spur to reflect your personality.
Furthermore those who wish to have a bolder design, the Blackline Specification injects the Flying spur with some attitude. This exclusive range of exterior features replaces the chrome elements known as brightware with gloss black-painted versions, including the wing vents, rear bumper detailing, exhaust pipe finishers and more.
Inside Inside is as sleek as you’d expect in a Bentley. There is a choice of stunning leather. Choose from five standard hide colours if you choose the V8. While if you choose the W12 you get 15. There is also a range of wooden veneers to choose from. As well as the standard Crown Cut Walnut, there is a choice of 9 single veneers. Including open pore veneers such as Koa or Dark Burr Walnut. If you wish you can add a chrome pinstripe of choose one of seven Dual Veneers by Mulliner. This approach pairs a contrasting black veneer with the wood of your choice. The two finishes separated by the chrome stripe.
While the Mulliner Driving Specification gives you further refine choices. You get the addition of several exclusive features. 3D leather door panels and a lofted diamond quilting on the seats. Also a larger 22″ wheel, also available in various finishes adds more road presence. While jewelled-finish fuel and oil caps show that no detail is overlooked.

As you know we love our electric cars here at How To Kill An Hour and we recently got to test the fully electric car from a really cool car company called Polestar! They are from the Volvo car company and they have made an incredible electric car that not only performs really well. It also looks amazing! It is called the Polestar 2 and has power up to 300kw which is the equivalent of 408 brake horse power and has a range of up to 335miles. Effortless to drive and also comes with some aggressive and progressive performance, which is the best of both worlds! It definitely stands out from the crowd that’s for sure!
Polestar 2 Exterior The exterior of the Polestar 2 is bold and will definitely make a statement, though it is a little understated. It looks chunky and beastly. A real statement of intent and definitely matches the performance of the car under the hood. It looks the part in the sense that it is modern yet futuristic. It has frames mirrors and avant-garde lights. In actual fact it is quite minimalistic too. We’re really impressed that it can both make a statement but at the same time appear somewhat minimalistic! Very sharp and very impressive!
Lights The lights of the car definitely illuminate the road infant of you. The car comes with LED technology and the headlights are shaped like origami. While the rear headlights are shaped in a futuristic blade/lines shape. This is where Polestar really want to highlight that this car is a Polestar. As the headlights/rear lights are so different to everyone else.
LED daytime running lights illuminate a hammer shaped guide in the headlight units. The lights will change automatically depending on the ambient light situation. You no longer need to change from low to high beam either. The lights are adaptive in the rear lights and there are reflectors in the from headlights. As they are LED’s the lights will last a long time and use as little energy as possible. But deliver strong powerful white light. Furthermore each of the 288 LED’s can turn on and off individually and change depending on the surroundings. While the LEDs shine brighter on a sunny day to improve visibility. When it’s dark the system dims the lights to save power and increase energy efficiency.
Mirrors The mirrors on the Polestar 2 are also very cool! They are frameless which creates a futuristic appearance and furthermore reduces the size of the side mirrors by 30%, which make a small contribution to the aerodynamics of the vehicle. You can tilt the mirrors downwards when the reverse gear is engaged to give you a better look in tight spaces. While when parked the lights can be folded in to lessen the risk of damage from passing vehicles. Furthermore in driving in dark conditions the mirrors can automatically dim bright lights from cars behind you. While this is only available as part of the Pilot Pack.
Other Exterior Features You can unlock and lock the vehicle by simply touching the handle and there is integrated lighting which makes them easy to find in the dark! The Polestar 2 also has 19” 5-Double Spoke Black Diamond Cut Alloy Wheels, fitted with 245/45R19 tyres as standard. Opening the boot can be done by waving your feet under the rear bumper too, making life just that little bit easier.
Interior Features The interior is fully loaded with high performance audio and an every updating infotainment system which is powered by Android Automotive OS. It is designed with a lack of clutter and can sit 4 adults comfortably. It comes with 4 USB C connectors as standard, 2 in the front tunnel console and 2 under the rear air vents.
Audio For those interested in their audio the car comes with a high fidelity sound system. The system has woofers that produce tones in the bass and tweeters to handle the highs. They will deliver more accurate sound and less distortion. The Polestar 2’s woofer with air woofer technology will produce a sound that’s very clear and clean!
250 watts of power will power through each of the eight speakers. While it’s front mounted air woofer and full range speaker mounted in the centre of the dash delivers high fidelity stereo sound. The speakers are full range and are 150mm in size in each rear door. Mid range 100mm speakers in the front , 19mm tweeters in each front roof pillar. A full range 100mm in the dash, a 200mm air woofer under the bonnet and below the windscreen.
Design The interior also comes with 2 collar schemes. Slate interior with two-tone Zinc Embossed Textile, or the Charcoal interior with Charcoal Embossed Textile.
Infotainment Driving nowadays has to have a great infotainment system and the Polestar 2 definitely has that.
Polestar partnered with Google to develop the worlds first car with Android Automotive OS. You can use Google Assistant and Google Maps to communicate with the car. Google Maps will even automatically pick out charging points along the route. Furthermore turn up the heat or cool down the car with your voice! The system will also be able to update and always provide you with the best service. While you can also download additional apps from Google Play Store.
Google Assistant Furthermore you can use Google Assistant to find you the right restaurants to go to or even stream you favourite music. Simply say “Hey Google” and the car will do the rest. For the first 3 years of your purchase your Polestar 2’s internet data will be included in the purchase price. If you are signed into the same account that you use on both the Polestar 2 and your phone you can simply pick up where you left off whilst listening to a podcast or music for example. While a Google Account isn’t required, it will be needed for seamless synchronisation from a phone to the car. Apple CarPlay is also available now too!
What’s even more impressive is that the Google Home app will allow you to connect to smart home appliances and make them available within the PoleStar 2. Activate a robot vacuum cleaner on the way home, turn on the kettle or even turn up the central heating!
Google Maps within Polestar 2 auto checks the battery level when planning a journey. It will adjust the route accordingly and will include the most convenient charing options.
Polestar 2 will keep track of what you asked it previously even 2 days ago. Thanks to ‘suspended state’ it will detect your phone and return to whatever you were doing when you were last driving. In the future you will be able to set climate controls in advance via the Polestar app or in the car itself. Each with separate timers and on a different day of the week!
Coming soon Soon you’ll be able to check everything from the Polestar app, such as vehicle status, and control other car functions before you even get in the car. You could adjust seat position, mirror settings, steering feel, climate control and much more!

Pixel LED headlights Pixel LED headlights will adjust to your surroundings. They will adjust the amount of light for maximum visibility. A camera controlled system will shade out vehicles and bicycles to avoid them being blinded or dazzled.
Adaptive Cruise Control You can add adaptive cruise control to the pace of the traffic. It will sense the vehicle in front and slow the car down when necessary. While at any moment touching the accelerator or brake will bring control back to the driver.

Rear floor ‘lid in lid’ with bag holder Put a lid on shopping bags and other loose items moving around in the boot. The foldable ‘lid in lid’ feature will hold them in place. This area will also provide secure storage for portable appliances like coolers, which get their power from the 12V connection.

AirTag is a small and elegantly designed accessory that helps keep track of and find the items that matter most with Apple’s Find My app. You can attach the device to a handbag, a set of keys, a backpack or any other item you love. AirTag will use Apple’s huge Find My Network to help locate a lost item. From all over the world! While keeping your location data private with anonymous end to end encryption. AirTags can be purchased in one and four packs for just £29 and £99. AirTag: Lightweight Design with Magical Setup Each AirTag is incredibly small and light. It has precision-etched polished stainless steel and is IP67 water and dust resistant. There is a built in speaker to help locate the AirTag with sounds. While a removable cover makes it easy for users to replace the battery. Set up is incredibly easy. Just bring the device to an iPhone and it will connect. Just like AirPods do! Users can then assign the AirTag to an item and name it things like “Keys” or “Jacket”, or even use a custom name. Personalise You can also personalise the device with Free engraving when purchasing from Apple. You can place the AirTag into a bag or pocket, or use a wide range of AirTags, Apple designed accessories. Such as a Polyurethane Loop, which is both lightweight and durable, and the Leather Loop and Leather Key Ring, featuring specially tanned European leather. A Comprehensive Finding Experience
Once the device is set up it will appear in the new ‘items’ tab within the Find My App. You can view the current location or last known location on a map. While if you lose it within Bluetooth range, you can use the Find My App to play a sound to help locate it. You can also use Siri to help find the item and the AirTag will emit a sound if it’s nearby.
If you have an iPhone 11, iPhone 12 or iPhone 13 you can use Precision Finding, thanks to the U1 chip! This will allow you to accurately determine the distance and direction of a lost AirTag when it is in range. So, when a user moves, the Precision Finding fuses together data from the camera, ARKit, accelerometer and gyroscope to guide you to the AirTag. This is done by using a combination of sound, haptics and visual feedback. Out of Range If the AirTag is out of Bluetooth range, the Find My Network will help track it down. Find My Network has close to a billion Apple devices. Using this it can detect Bluetooth signals from a lost AirTag from other iPhones, iPads and other Apple devices and relay the location back to it’s owner. All in the background, anonymously and privately. Even if the AirTag is moved!
Users can place the AirTag into Lost Mode and then be notified when it is range or if it has been located by the Find My Network. While if someone finds an AirTag that is lost. They can tap it on their iPhone or any NFC-capable device. They will then be taken to a website that will display a contact phone number for the owner if they have provided one. The device includes support for the accessibility features built into iOS. Precision Finding using VoiceOver, for example, can direct users who are blind or low-vision to AirTag with directions like “AirTag is 9 feet away on your left.”
Privacy and Security Built In AirTag is designed from the ground up to keep location data private and secure. So, no location data or location history is ever held or stored on the device itself. Communication with the Find My Network is end to end encrypted. Therefore only the owner of a device has access to it’s location data. No one, including Apple, knows the identity or location of any device that helped find it.
Unwanted Tracking Also, in an industry first, Apple designed AirTag to discourage unwanted tracking. Bluetooth signal identifiers transmitted by AirTag rotate frequently to prevent unwanted location tracking. iOS devices can also detect an AirTag that isn’t with it’s owner. It will notify if an unknown AirTag is seen to be traveling with them from place to place over time. Even if users don’t have an iOS device, an AirTag separated from it’s owner for an extended period of time. Will play a sound when moved to draw attention to it. While, if a user detects an unknown AirTag, they can tap it with their iPhone or NFC-capable device and instructions will guide them to disable it.
