As noted on his website, Alan grew up in the United Methodist Church. While he proudlys embrace his background and personal history within the United Methodist Church, Alan does feel that ultimately what is important is not the denomination that you are a part of. What matters most is the relationship that you have with the Lord. He believes part and parcel to any relationship is the level of commitment that one makes to it. With any and all relationships they are going to take time to grow. Alan describes his relationship with the Lord over the years with one word: “transformation.” Continuing to grow daily in his walk with the Lord and continuing to display the fruits of his Spirit daily is what life is all about for Alan. He is the author of two books, In The Spirit Intended and Here I Am Lord.

A widow and two-time contender in the " Miss Big and Beautiful" Beauty pageant, Cheryl is also a producer of a musice group called Grace Music Power. Cheryl shares on her website tha she learned through writing that she had to tell the world about parts of her life she was afraid of; she was afraid that people would point fingers and talk about her, not loving or accepting her anymore. Somehow she felt dirty. What she feel now is nothing but love because of God's grace.
