I have personally heard photographers say to clients I charge so and so because of the cost of my gear. Trust me, the client or prospect is not interested in your gear. Nobody has ever asked me about the camera I use. The people who ask me this are mostly photographers. The cost of running your photo-business is not something you really have to share with your prospect. What does it cost? How can you price your photo-business?

As humans evolve, art evolves too. With time, I have come to define art differently —as the process of creating uniqueness (remarkable, special, peculiar, and rare). One of the greatest to ever grace God's green earth on his death bed said—I have offended God and man. My work did not reach the quality it should have. These are the words of the famous Lenoardo da Vinci. This begs the question, can artists ever live fulfilled lives?
An artist is a creator (a person who creates)-is that difficult to understand? If it is then, there's a problem which probably emanates from the "I'm not good enough" syndrome. For an artist to think he or she must reach some height of attain some level of recognition to be tagged as an artisan is just preposterous.
Finally—an episode on money. A very uncomfortable subjects artists (especially) do not like to talk about. The subject about money is very important but someway somehow we find a way not to talk about it. To be honest, I did not feel comfortable able sharing this but I did it anyway—youre worth your wages—charge what you're worth. Value your work!
