Life is so dynamic, and we all go through good and bad experiences (contrast) that shape us into becoming the person we are.

As we grow, we can experience a lot of emotional healing. After all, we’re all healing from something, right?

In this episode, I talk about what emotional healing can really look like and how we can form the right perspectives around it, through sharing one of my own personal experiences.

“Vulnerability is not winning or losing; it's having the courage to show up and be seen when we have no control over the outcome. Vulnerability is not weakness; it's our greatest measure of courage” – Brene Brown.

It’s been a year almost since lockdowns began, and I don’t think I’ve ever spent so much time reflecting. But as much as it’s been challenging, it's taught me a lot. I learned and grew so much, and for that I will always be grateful.

If I were to list everything I’ve learned this past year, that list would be endless. But after thinking I’ve managed to narrow things down to the top five lessons I’ve learned since lockdowns started. I decided to create this episode to share what they are. Perhaps you might resonate with one or more of them. If you do end up resonating with any of them, let me know! :)

Holding onto negative feelings like anger and resentment towards ourselves, situations, or other people can make us feel trapped. And when we feel like victims, we essentially feel powerless. Thats why forgiveness is extremely powerful when it comes to your own personal growth as it helps you take your power back into your own hands. When we release people, events, and choose to forgive ourselves, we find freedom. We relieve ourselves from the feelings that cause us pain, and we return to love. And returning to love is all about seeing things through a new perspective. In this podcast episode, I talk about the power of forgiveness and how forgiving and letting go is a sign of strength. I also talk about how our relationships can be our greatest teachers, as well as different ways that you can practice forgiveness.
