Paul Taylor is an angel investor, property developer and gym owner. He owns Yield Property Services, which was founded in 2012 and has a growing portfolio of properties throughout the UK. Paul has also built several additional businesses from scratch – not least one on Amazon, where he generated over £400,000 from £0 in just over a year! I recently discussed Paul’s innovative business tactics and got him to share some secrets to his success.
Adam Joseph is the CEO of The Happy Tenant Company, which manages properties all over London. In this interview, I talk to him about how this year’s challenges have affected rents and rentals, and what some of his clients are doing to combat the slump in demand.
As the world starts to emerge from the challenges of 2020, what sectors will be the ones to watch when it comes to speedy recovery? Matt recently interviewed senior partner at Portland – a strategic communications company with clients like #Uber, #Facebook and #Google to name a few! CrowdProperty has a lot of demand this year, continuing to lend this year and bucking the worst-case scenario trend of firms backing out of deals and lenders drawing down their investments.

Hi everybody it’s Matt Siddell, today I’m joined by Toby Guest who runs ‘Your Apartment’ in Bristol with his brother Charlie Guest. They have 160 properties in their portfolio and it’s a serviced accommodation portfolio which recently got hammered in the crisis.
Their occupancy crashed to 30% but they have got it back up to 100% and I’m going to ask Toby how they did that, how they got through it, what they have done to make themselves leaner and stronger.
I’m going to ask him for some tips for service accommodation portfolio providers up and down the country as they try and get through this crisis.
