A muted piano piece from early this year. You can watch the video for it on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L1fK0-h80Po
A new song on the steel string guitar. It's still a bit of a work in progress. I will probably change quite a few things around in the coming weeks.
A multitrack piece in Standard tuning with two classical guitars and one japanese Sanshin. You can listen to a version without Sanshin on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2YjTuyEqtyw
You can listen to another take with slightly different timing and outro on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jDHqEmeyIMM
Something more dynamic. Or rather more dramatic. Played on the nylon string. Standard tuning.
Piano with Cello Quartet. Might have a few issues here and there, but for now I want to let it rest.
Title track of a new solo piano album. It includes 14 songs that I recorded between 2015 and now. This time there are a small number of CD copies available. They come in a 4 panel Digipack and include 13x13 prints of the album cover and two other photos of mine. You can get it on Bandcamp: https://tobiasw.bandcamp.com/album/spark-and-the-wither
You can listen to a version with added Cello on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2oYiVwpIVec
A new solo guitar piece recorded on the steel string. A slightly different pace from my other recent guitar recordings.
I've been brushing up on many of my older Fingerstyle pieces again and decided to give this untitled song from 2015 the multitrack treatment. You can still hear the solo guitar version on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dpagLBwE334
This is another try at orchestral composition. With a few compromises. Including the title, on which I gave up for now, otherwise deciding on one will take me longer than the composition itself.
It's been a while since my last steel string recording. The title is not final yet. As always, I'll let it settle first. In any case, thanks for listening.
Old and recycled piano ideas with a new attempt at adding strings. It was again something I wanted to see through.
This is the short interlude I recorded in July for my classical guitar album. I thought I'd upload it here to complete the playlist.
Connected, but not necessarily similar to the first one from last year: https://soundcloud.com/tobiasw-2/untitled-piano-comp-2015-no-10
An old scrapped piece that I decided to continue and finish. Still not sure about it. Quite a few common patterns and repetitions. No title yet again, sorry.
I have re-recorded my album "In Transit" with new microphones and added three more songs, this one included. If you like, you can listen to it on Bandcamp: https://tobiasw.bandcamp.com/album/in-transit I have new Piano compositions as well, they will follow in the coming weeks. Thanks for listening!
It's been a while since I shared a steel string recording. You can listen to an alternative take on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VJR63ir0t_4 A possible continuation of this in the same tuning: https://soundcloud.com/tobiasw-2/untitled-instr-2015-no-9
You can listen to an alternative multitrack version on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aKF9wDWOJMA
As always, I might add or change a few more details later on, trying to make it last a bit longer at parts.
