Have you ever thought why Jesus was famous? Why did all those people follow him? You think because he was so holy and wise? Think again. It's the crowds we're talking about. And crowds today are no different than crowds two thousand years ago.
Is it necessary to believe in someone or something to be happy? Can't you be just one happy atheist? Do you think there is a connection between faith and happiness? And what does the Bible say about it?
Do you know why the Bible is your best shot? I'll tell you why: because you don't have much other choice.
Assuming, of course, you care at all about things like life, death and meaning of life.
Most people say that a Christian is a person who believes in God. Others say that it is someone who goes to a church every week. But if you read the Bible it is much simpler that this.
It is quite clear, but there is a good reason why it is really difficult to be a Christian. Let me explain.
Let me explain what is the God situation in the world in 2021. There are some options out there, but they don't look promising. I think I can help with that. I'm sure there is at least one more way.
Is God of the Bible a cruel sadists? Because there's no denying he kills, burns, drowns, starves and messes up people's lives. It's hard to imagine loving God doing those things. So honestly: is he a monster?
Was Jesus a priest? Or was Jesus a pastor? Are the churches today organized the way he wanted? What should christian community by organized like according to the Bible?
According to what the Bible has to say, most Christians today are not Christians at all! They are something else. What it means to be a Christian according to the Bible? It is a very simple to explain, but hard to accept. People make it much more complicated that it really is, and for a good reason.
That's something you will probably not hear in a church.
Evolution is a story about the beginnings of life. The Bible also tells a story about the beginnings of life. But the evolution story is definitely more popular and more convincing. Why? Because of scientific proofs? I don't think so. I think the true reason is that people believe strongly in another story. A very powerful one.
Do we have to believe anything? Why should we choose what we believe about God? Should we even care? And if so, what choices do we have? Why is the Bible an option to consider?
Europe used to be Christian. Not any more. Now atheism is spreading like never before. Why is it so attractive? Why is it winning? Should the Christians be worried?
