When we think of vision issues, we often only consider glasses or contact lenses to address them. But what if there was a way to catch potential issues as early as infancy? And if there are issues, do they really only stop at the eyes or is there a disconnect with the brain?

We are honored to have Dr. Derek Tong come speak on the podcast to discuss preventative eye check ups, how he restores the connection between the eyes and the brain, how the brain develops in relation to vision, what activities children do that can cause vision issues, and how he uses vision therapy to help children with autism!

So tune in now to learn about how a baby's developing brain connects with vision!

One of these healing modalities is the Maya Abdominal Massage Technique developed by Dr. Rosita Arvigo. We are lucky enough to have Dr. Rosita HERSELF come on the show to explain what this amazing technique is, how it can help with some of these health challenges, and how you can find a practitioner today!

"You're my last hope", "We've been to so many doctors/specialists and had no answers", " They told me that they would grow out of it", "They told me that there's nothing they can do".

We hear these phrases so many times when parents have come to our pediatric chiropractic practices with their babies. These parents tried chiropractic care based on one last hope and often come out of the experience and called it a "miracle". For chiropractors these changes merely come from how we look at and analyze the nervous system and connection to the body through the spine.

We are fortunate this episode to have Dr. Lora Tanis, a pediatric chiropractor, on to talk about some extraordinary cases she has worked with involving newborns to give new parents another route to explore if there is a health issue with their baby.

We want to present this episode with a message of hope and support to all those parents who thought they had no other options!

Everyone knows their water is safe to drink as long as there is no dirt, bacteria, or bugs in it. While this is true, is the process of removing these products causing health issues in themselves? We bring on Vance of The Water Guys, INC to talk about why fluorine, chlorine and ammonia should be filtered out of your water, effects of these additives on the human body, other harmful substances now found in our water, why specialized filtration systems should be in every home, and how people can access this purified water.

We focus so much on the quality of food for our babies' development, it begs the question why water quality is not given the same attention in these early years of life!

Listen in to learn about how you can make sure you have the best water possible to aid in your baby's development and the overall health of your family!

We connect with a fellow chiropractor colleague, Dr. Kim Norman-Hepworth to discuss childhood brain trauma/ injuries and her personal experiences with her children's health.

Dr. Kim is a mother of three and practices a pretty holistic approach to health including chiropractic for her children. However, she needed to look further into health and neurology after one of her children suffered a severe trauma that changed his entire life.

None of the conventional neurological testing and treatments were giving her any answers, but she refused to stop seeking help for her child.

It was chance that she reconnected with Dr. Christine Anderson, who had just completed a certification in Functional Neurology...

So listen in to hear Dr. Kim's incredible story and how a chiropractic mother's determination to heal her child led her to discovering a new way of looking at neurology!

We had so many questions and had such an in-depth conversation that we had to split up this episode into TWO PARTS!

So tune in now to finally learn legitimate, scientifically researched information about EMFs, their effects on the human body, and why we need to pay attention when 5G comes around.

Part 2 will be up this Thursday, September 3rd, so we won't leave you in suspense for too long!

Dr. Chris uses the case of a 6 year old presenting to her office with neck pain to illustrate that issues in older children can be traced back to their neurological development.

"I can't imagine what would have happened if my 6 year old patient hadn't come in to see me for neck pain. The only way he would eat is if his mom spoon fed him and that would take 1 1/2 hours for each meal!"

Would he have grown out of this as he grew up? Would it have gotten worse?

This is why we are compelled to do our podcast on how to help babies with proper brain development in the first few years of life!

We see so many children with so many issues that could have possibly been avoided with chiropractic care.

So tune in now to our new episode series where we explore and discuss cases we have seen in our practices!
