Wassup, we are The Lord's Poet and it is produced by Sam and Semire With rhymes we tell story, give advise and talk about problems while putting Jesus as the focus for ALL solutions. We express our thoughts on what is going around in the world and how at the end of it all it really just leads back to accepting Jesus.
We believe that knowing Jesus is the foremost important thing to do and that it relationship over religion. Jesus is not an inconvenience but an incorporation in anyone's life.

For most people who have had a traumatic experiences, they understand that the memories of such events can be trapping. Jesus promises to heal every broken heart and to heal the word when he comes again. We need to trust in him to do so. In the mean time we can speak to him about anything we have gone through.
We all saw what happened in Nigeria with EndSARS, it is very painful to see what corruption can do to a nation. We pray for those who have lost their lives and for their families God will comfort them Please continue to pray for our nations but most importantly remember that God's nation is coming soon. And will all need to be part of it.
This is the beginning of a new series called Freedom From. In a world that can seem so trapping, it is good to know we are free in Christ. This episode looks upon how expectations set by others can be so trapping. But but it is only Christ expectation for us it is most important. No matter what others people say about us, we are set free in Christ. Bible passage mentioned in the episode are: James 1:23 "Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like." Mark 8:36, KJV: "For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?". I hope you enjoy it and God bless
So we back from our break. And there's been a couple of changes. Such as: our name, logo, we deleted our old episodes and change a podcast trailer. We hope to be posting more regularly but it'd be really dependent on a week to week basis. Episodes will now be longer and contain more guests speakers. This is the episode to come to to if you were thinking about giving you life to Christ but you're not too sure about it. Think about what is stopping you from doing so? For the Bible says" what does it profit a man to gain the whole world but lose his soul". I don't know what you feel like is stopping you but I prayer Jesus will speak to your heart, and reveal himself to you. So then you may know him more and acquire your place in heaven. It's not a trick it's really that simple.
This episode marks the end of our beginning and the beginning of something. I have been thinking for many many many weeks about changing the podcast (we rushed our opening before), but I have never seem to know when, cause I had no structure. And it did not seemto hit me that it was time till I was bored writing. I just felt like I was writing for writing sake. So basically we are going on a little break to ask God for guidance and structure. Thank you for baring with us . God Bless you. Change will be happening
