From opening car doors to paying for dinner and even pulling out their chairs, these traditions are seeming to slowly fade away. When you think about it do traditions like these still exist? It's crazy that as great social media is today, that it's also been a tool to divide men & women especially when it comes to relationships. But instead of getting into a who's right war, we'd much rather just show our appreciation for the ladies in our very special episode to celebrate Women's History Month. Tune in as we show our love to the women for their sacrifices, dedication & pure dopeness in our "Ladies First" episode right now on The People's Podcast!!!

When you hear people use the saying "only God can judge me" it instantly makes you think that they expect to be free of criticism. But actually it's much simpler than that. It basically means that we are are humans and will make mistakes but none of us are better than the others. Today you are judged on everything from the way you dress, where you work, your children, you social media post & even who you are associated with. With things being so much different then they were in the past, it has caused the older generation to become much more critical on the millennials which has divided us in society. Tune in as we dive a little further into this idea of judgment right now on The People's Podcast!!!

For many of us Sundays are reserved for family & relaxation. Whether that is watching football, doing activities with the kids or simply chillin on the couch. But one thing that feels like it's fading away is Sunday Dinners. The tradition of being able to break bread with your friends/family on a regular basis dates back centuries. It allowed us not only get share a meal, but get to share our culture & spread wisdom. Sadly with technology advancing so rapidly, it has forced society to only want to communicate via phone/computer. So today we felt it was only necessary to discuss a topic that is so important to our history & culture as we ask one simple question... Can we bring back to Sunday dinners?

Have you ever had an experience where someone made a decision about who you were before you even spoke a word or had a conversation with you?  Sadly we as Africa Americans have grown to be accustomed to being  judged simply based on how we look. The worst part about it is we seem to think its normal & should be excepted. We've even seen our people be labeled as thugs, criminals & so many more derogatory names. Which makes you ask the  question, "who do you think I am"? Today 52 tells his story of a recent encounter at a restaurant in rural Georgia. Tune in to hear us discuss some of our stories of being labeled or judged by other races. Today join us as we discuss our thoughts on why we feel our culture puts such an emphasis on looks.
