We have come along way in terms of the rights of women and yet in Australia 1 woman is murdered per week at the hands of their partner or husband. Is this the fault of bad men or are we all implicated in these statistics. What solutions are there for a more equal world.
The world is as peaceful as it has ever been and yet the Syrian war is into its 8th year and responsible for the deaths of millions of people. Should Australia be more heavily involved in international diplomacy or should we stay out of civil wars so that they do not become world wars?
Australia makes up only a small percentage of global Carbon emissions, so what, if anything can young Australians do to save our planet from a climate emergency.
Almost half the world live on less that $2.50 a day...but is inequality really a bad thing. We have it pretty good but should we be more empathetic.
