Ultra Vague is an international label, founded in 2009 with three main branches one in USA, one in Belgium and one in Ukraine. We cover a diverse selection of genres such as chillwave, trip-hop, downtempo, indie-folk/pop, adult contemporary, singer/songwriter, nu r&b, soul. We do not expect to get any kind of hard rock or rap submissions. We also like it when electronic sound meets acoustic instruments. Chris Richter is an Amsterdam-based artist, who distinguishes herself as storyteller first, musician second. Her music genre bends to the will of the words she writes with instinct and intent. Her obsession with reshaping the boundaries of language makes for intricate word webs that fall into place on webs of dark reverb, haunting strings and horns and deep and rhythmic bass. 'Rephrase, and then rephrase again,' is the holy idea of her music.Her sharp introspection and love for history have brought forth a number of songs inspired by Greek mythology, as well as some more personal works. Her newest EP, The Train of 3:30, is a collection of interconnected yet atmospherically diverse songs.

"Glorification of the Supreme Personality of Godhead is performed in the paramparā system, that is, it is conveyed from the spiritual master to disciple. Such glorification is relished by those no longer interested in the false, temporary glorification of this cosmic manifestation. Descriptions of the Lord are the right medicine for the conditioned soul undergoing repeated birth and death. Therefore, who will cease hearing such glorification of the Lord except a butcher or one who is killing his own self?" In India it is the practice among the general populace to hear about Kṛṣṇa, either from Bhagavad-gītā or from Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, in order to gain relief from the disease of repeated birth and death. Although India is now fallen, when there is a message that someone will speak about Bhagavad-gītā or Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, thousands of people still gather to hear. This verse indicates, however, that such recitation of Bhagavad-gītā and Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam must be done by persons completely freed from material desires (nivṛtta-tarṣaiḥ). One who is not agitated by such material upheavals, who is unaffected by good and evil, is to be understood to be fixed in Kṛṣṇa consciousness. As long as one is in the material world there is always the possibility of good and evil because this world is full of duality. But one who is fixed in Kṛṣṇa consciousness is not affected by good and evil, because he is simply concerned with Kṛṣṇa, who is all-good absolute. Such consciousness in Kṛṣṇa situates one in a perfect transcendental position called, technically, samādhi.

Breathe is about reveries and crazy projects we have that never come true. It is also about the desire to escape society in order to refocus on oneself.
When we met with Mathieu Grillo at his studio to start recording a new song, we first worked a few hours on a completely other song, but without being convinced by it. By the end of the session, I jammed with my guitar and started playing something else. Mathieu liked what I was playing, so I stayed a bit longer to put some structure to it and record a maquette. Xavier is a singer/songwriter born in London. He grew up in France, New Zealand and Australia, spending a lot of his childhood on the move. He’s spent most of his adult life as an entrepreneur - In his early 20s he left Australia, starting his first business and couch-surfing his way across the US. Furthermore, he went on to become an early employee of Deliveroo (first 30) where he was a major part of growing the UK business as a general manager. He left Deliveroo to launch a business called Turo (a US unicorn) in the UK and run their international business.
At age 30 he rediscovered his love of music and passion for songwriting. This coincided with lockdowns and the ability to focus on writing his first EP. He’s teamed up with the producers Wayward to release Coastlines. This first EP is inspired by music influences such as Dylan, Radiohead, Bon Iver and Vance Joy and is a reflection on a challenging period of his life.
The EP maps a relationship breakdown between him and his best friend, who told him she was in love with him a week after getting married. Coastlines reflect the toxic descent of this relationship into chaos, heartbreak and lockdown and the ensuing escape through travelling the world. Coastlines is the opening and closing of this chapter in his life.

London based singer-songwriter Xavier Collins is poised to announce his second release with the arrival of 'Gone'. Produced by electronic production duo Wayward (seen in Mixmag, DJ Mag, The Ransom Note), it is lifted from the forthcoming 'Coastlines' EP due April 2022.
"This is an acoustic track, it's raw and unplugged. It was recorded in one take as a guide / reference and not to a click... but we decided to just go with it as it was, because it's authentic and emotional. The song was written after many failed attempts to find my natural sound and almost in desperation - the lyrics, like the song's essence, were inspired by Song For Zula."

MiceThrow presents his new single "Nostalgia", an instrumental composition with synthwave and hip-hop inspirations. The cover is a photo taken by MiceThrow himself during a trip to Japan in 2018. He misses the alleys of Tokyo and their Izakaya, it fits perfectly with the theme of nostalgia.

Micethrow ("Maestro") has an academic background in music theory and percussion. In 2003, he started composing hip-hop instrumentals and thus began the M.A.O. He will cross on his road several local artists (he is present on the album "Give Thanks" of Dju Laïonand remixes several sounds of Di Cash Flow). In 2018, he begins to collaborate seriously with DiCash Flow on numerous tracks (including "Belgian Beer" which was released on 23/03/2020). In 2021, he released the project "No Face", where he composed 6 remixes and presented 3 of them via performances livedéguisé in "Kaonashi" (cfr "sans visage" - le voyage de chihiro). During these performances he plays the instrumental, controls homemade LED structures and activates video effects.
MiceThrow will release a series of singles touching different universes. The release of the following 3 are already planned: "Rain Dance" on 04/03, "Memories" on 11/03 and "Fire" on 25/03. credits from Uvarious Artists Vol.13, released March 11, 2022 It was written in my home studio. "This track was titled "Color" because I was trying to interpret the feeling of happiness into sounds. Whenever you feel happy the world looks so vivid and fresh to you.
I felt some energy going after I've visited a Hare Krishna ISKCON temple in Kyiv a few years back. I was under a huge influence and it took me about 30 minutes to do a sketch. I tried to finish the track a few times, but every time I failed to reproduce that atmosphere. Now it's finally done and I think I got pretty close to what I had in my head.
In ancient Vedic texts, in Sanskrit, the term "varna" is used for the word color, meaning not only colors, but also a specific feature that is unique to a particular person, nation, locality, etc. George Harrison (The Beatles) duly appreciated the heritage of Vedic literature and allocated $ 10,000 and wrote a preface to the book "Krishna" by A.С. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. "

Blicq is an electronic downtempo band that has existed since the year of 2003. Blicq consists of Anders Ekman and Ylva, two old friends from a small town in Sweden. "As we both headed for Stockholm, the musical cords connected somewhere along the way and so the Blicq project took form. We write and produce all material together during sessions in the suburbs of Stockholm, inspired by everything that is happening within and around us. We have not yet performed live or produced a fullength album, but we are currently working on new material and are aiming for a larger collection of tunes".

"Oj Edu Ja Darogaju" is a song of a woman aching for love. She's walking the road singing a song hoping someone would hear it feel sorry for her and fall in love. Old Belorussian word "Love" meant "To Make Love" while expression "to feel sorry for smb" had the meaning of "to feel love for smb" The song was recorded in 2006 in Kazly, Elski district, Gomel region from words of Valentina Ljaukovskoi, DOB 1940 and Nadezhda Kavalenka, DOB 1937 by I. Maziuk and T. Varphalameeva. Deep atmosphere, magical sound, unusual and beautiful music of ŠUMA (Shuma) is a great mixture of Belarusian archaic ancient pagan ritual songs and contemporary vocal electronic music.

erandy (Веранди) is the band’s first track as Плесо (Pleso). It was known since 2006 as Dalai Lama, Lviv based rock band, which became one of the 10 the best bands at the Global battle of the bands 2008 finale. They released their first LP titled «The Sixth Turtle» in 2009 and toured Ukraine with it. In May 2014 the band changed it’s name to Плесо (Pleso) iand released a single Verandy.

"This song was recorded about 6 years ago with some help from Alex Kuleshov еру sound engineer. I performed the water part on a plastic pelvis, played guitar and bass parts on bass guitar. It's interesting that this track has 17/4 measure. It was not done on purpose, the melody demanded for it. I even had some troubles with Fruity Loops because of it (there was no such a measure) and I had to migrate the project to Cubase." - Anna Mia Anna Mia is a singer, songwriter and composer from Moscow. She ived in the mountains and learned to sing with nightingales and other birds. She was featured on Moon Voyage records "Dreamers", "World Out" and also worked with Planet Ragtime on their single "Character".

Sorrow Leads To Salvation is the project of a Kyiv-based sound producer known under the alias Adam Maylow. Speaking of the sound, the artist tries to make it manifold, combining a lot of genres to reach a unique eclecticism across ambient, techno, instrumental hip-hop, IDM etc.

Al Coholic (Albert Yaschenko) – multyinstrumentalist, music producer and a recordings artist from Severodonetsk, UA. He is known as MC and beat-maker by his collabs with Russian hip-hop artists. He is also a member of Amid & Ali hip-hop project.
As a solo artist Al Coholic produced 3 records and «Good News» is his fourth album. It was released through Ultra Vague Recordings in August 2011.
«Good News» is a symbiosis of classical music with drum’n'bass. Live instruments were used during the recording sessions in the studio and it was a new experience for Al Coholic.
