R U OK? Day Awareness (The Side Menu special)
On this day in Australia is the national R U OK? Day campaign, aimed to connect people with one another and help protect people from suicide by checking on with one another, having conversations that are potentially live saving.
It is a really powerful campaign and particularly in 2020 given the year it's been, its an opportunity we have (each day) to check in with those around us.
In this episode I go through their website as a quick and useful tool to help recognise the signs you might look out for to be ready to have a meaningful conversation, and my two cents around this campaign.
