To kick off the 2018 Halloween season, our friendly neighborhood Deharmonizers break down the hottest band in the land...KISS!
Or at least the hottest band in the 70's. In fact, very few bands had the cultural impact that KISS did and it all started when Paul, Gene, Ace and Peter walked into the studio together for the first time 45 years ago this month. The purpose was to begin work on their debut album. And the rest, as they say, is Kisstory.
Josh and Andrew spend the first part of a total of three episodes focusing on the first half of the decade through KISS's cultural peak in 1978.
The next two episodes will pick up with the other side of the mountain and continue through the 80's.
We're also happy to announce a surprise guest who will be joining us for Part 2.
So pour a tall glass of cold gin or some vodka and orange juice, and turn it up loud!

1967 will always be remembered as a year rich with unparalleled musical and artistic expression. It was also the year the Monkees' broke from their record producer and discovered their musical autonomy and freedom.
This ultimately led to the writing and recording of two of their finest works, which have been largely lost in the musical shuffle of the 60's. Andrew and Josh sat down to review the Monkees recorded works in 1967 and give them the attention they deserve. Open the door into summer and take a listen.
