Ever thought to yourself "What the !%&* am I actually doing here?". Why is it that some people seem to grow in life and some people don't?WTF am I actually doing here and how on earth doI figure it out?Well hello there, I'm Rosie.I used to be clinically depressed, medicated, a single mum and completely broke! This was the place I found myself asking "WTF am I doing here?"Over 8yrs, several personal growth books, courses, seminars and coaches, I've managed to figure out my purpose.I don't do fluff, I keep it real, call it like it is, and am not afraid to share my stories of struggle. I hope to connect with you and inspire you to be brave, take full responsibility for your life and choose what lights you up every day. Cliche I know, but a life like that does exist. I'm living it.
This podcast is for those of you looking for more. Who are brave enough to question the system we have been born into and eager to move your life forward in a way that has real meaning. Those who are ready to take responsibility for their life and choose differently. Choose what lights you up over what makes others comfortable. Choose your life, your way, connecting to purpose.

Not many of us think about money as something you would have a relationship with. But it's the one thing we all rely on to keep our lives in our society going, and, if we want an uplevelled life, we generally want more of it! My finances grew and grew in ways I didn't think were possible as soon as I started to become conscious of my relationship with money. How was I talking about money? If money was a person would it want to be my friend? If these concepts sound weird to you, this episode is for you! Because if they sound weird, my guess is that you have some money stuff going on that you would like to improve! I'd love you to une in and just be open to the learnings in this episode. After all, money can do so much good in the world, and in the words of one of my favourite humans, David Stirling, "Imagine what kind of a world we would live in, if all the good people in the world had all the money". Tune in and learn how to have a relationship with money the grows and grows in all the right ways!

A topic I'm really passionate about because I spent the first 32 years of my life in survival mode, followed by 2 years of still trying to survive but finally realising that I don't have to live in survival anymore, and for the last year stepping into THRIVE mode! It's not a concept that is talked about much at all. Survival is hustle, thrive is abundance, peace, calm, systems, organisations and time out for rest and relaxation! Stepping into THRIVE is every humans birth right, but most of us only know how to survive, which is our very outdated cave man instincts. Tune in to figure out if you are surviving or thriving and what you can do to get more thrive into your life.

It's the beginning of a new year and those three words "New Years Resolution" are flying around on almost any marketing campaign going..... along with thank F*ck 2020 is over! Statistics show that 95% of people who set new years resolutions have dropped off the bandwagon by February! Why? Let me share that with you, along with how you can be in the 5% success rates, or, move away from the mainstream idea that January is the only time of year to reset and be like me, choose your own time of year for reflection and new plans, so that when January comes around, you don't feel the ick that comes with all the marketing campaigns trying to sell you their new year 'going to fix everything' product! It's no secret that 2020 has been a year that most of us do not want to relive! A year that has been overwhelming, confronting, confusing, frustrating and has peeled back the veil on so many things that the majority of us had no idea about. It's caused us to reflect, think about what is important and what we are doing with our lives. What you look for is what you are going to find. As I quote the movie "Pollyanna" in this episode "If you look for the bad in humankind, you are sure to find it". Likewise, if you look for the good, it will be there. In this episode I talk you through how to find the good in 2020, and go into 2021 holding onto those memories. Making a list of 36, reflecting on the lessons but the more the light than the dark. It's easy to find the dark, you don't even really have to try. But what would feel better, heading into the new Year holding onto the good or the bad? The choice is up to you. Tune in now and set yourself up with positive reflections going into the new year.

I am so grateful that my Mum gave my siblings and I family traditions for Christmas and our birthdays. In the wellness world there are very strong opinions about presents, how things should be celebrated etc, whether it creates a behaviour of expectation and stuff over connection and love. I think we can take this so seriously and forget that joy, magic and possibilities are some of the greatest gifts we can give our kids and family. Whether your children have an expectation attitude and a I want stuff attitude has nothing to do with what's given, and everything to do with how you parent and the values you instil in them. Personally, after loosing my mother to early onset dementia, the special traditions, the joy and the magic if those events each year are something I value more than anything. The feeling of love, joy and happiness they bring to me when I reflect on them is something I wish for all children to have. Tune into this episode and learn about what my family traditions were and are and how I create family memories and traditions that will last a lifetime with my own daughters.

One of the most damaging things you can do to relationships with people you love is to sweep things under the rug. It's literally like injecting poison into your relationship and this is so common with family members and those we have close relationships with. The lack of emotional awareness or intelligence in this society is causing the most extreme amounts of pain in so many lives. Having the skills to have tough conversations and deal with issues as they arise is the key to healthy, long and thriving relationships. Being open, calm and prepared to listen and not jump into reactive mode is key. Tune in to this episode to gain tips, skills and insights into how to prepare yourself to have tough conversations and preserve and strengthen the relationship with the people you love the most in your life.

You would think that the health and wellness world is exempt from idiotic behaviour, it is after all about health and wellbeing. But nope, just like every other industry, this too has it's fair share of the dark and the light! My two core values are honesty and fairness, so basically dishonesty and inequality are a fabulous way to make my blood boil. There's this thing in the wellness world called "spiritual bypassing". It's where people use spiritual excuses to excuse bad behaviour, avoid tough conversations, avoid looking at their own behaviour and also avoid considering other people's perspectives. And it drives me mental! I'm a straight shooter, if I want to go somewhere the highway is my preference over the scenic route, and a lot of spiritual bypassing is done via the scenic route that is so off track that you get swept away in the spiritualness (made up word) of what someone is trying to say that you forget what your question was. I talk about this and more in this episode, tune in now for some Rosie #truthbombs to be dropped!

Your values are like your compass. They are part of what makes you who you are, part of your internal settings, part of what makes you tick. They are why you lean into certain things and away from other things. The majority of people have zero idea of what their values are, let alone how to find them and how to do life once you've figured them out! It's an area that I am so passionate about and I have helped several people to find their values and understand themselves and what makes them tick! Tune into this episode to gain insights and head to my website www.rosienerney.com to complete my FREE E-Course on finding your values. Walking the red carpet at The Logies (Aust TV Awards) for being on reality TV would be a huge highlight for some. It was this and a series of other events that lead Shay to the conclusion of "This is not who I am". A lot of celebrities have made comments like 'I wish everyone could have all the fame and money they want, to realise that it's not that great and it's not actually what you want". Shay had a taste of it, could have dived right into it, but she chose not to, because, it wasn't true to her. To her truth, her soul, her calling. She didn't even know what her truth was at that stage, all she knew was this this life of trying to be someone who she wasn't, was not for her. I love Shay, she is an amazing friend of mine who I have so much in common with and we have the best conversations. This podcast is for anyone who thinks they want the fame, the attention, the money and the red carpets. Shay’s insight to them may just help you see from a different perspective! I'm not one to give reviews or advocate for people or products unless I fully believe in and are invested in them. In fact I have easily read 60+ personal growth books and I have not given one a review. But this book, this is one that I will happily read over and over again, I would go as far to say that it is in my top 3 fav books EVER! Gina DeeVee is phenomenal! And this book is one that every single woman on the planet needs to read. When I first got it, the Queen part put me off. Not another woman's book about being a queen! All the fluff, faries and unicorns that comes with it. It's just not what connects with me at all! This book is the complete opposite of anything fluffy! It is strong, powerful and invites women to think about what Queen is for them, and how to identify with the other archetypes that sabotage us and take us away from stepping into our own version of Queen. I can't recommend this book enough. I wish every woman would read it. It will have you hooked from chapter one. Tune into this episode as I share my insights and why I love it so much.

Stepping into a path that is outside the norm can be scary if you don't know how to tune in to your intuition. Kim is not only tuned into herself but she is trained in how to help others access and tune into their own intuitive self. Kim is an Insight Timer superstar, with raving fans and reviews for her blissful meditations and her amazing Insight Timer courses, both of which I've completed which had me reaching out to Kim to have her on the show, and, I've since started her 8wk Intuition Coaching course. You are going to love her wisdom and insights and if you haven't already, make sure you head over to Insight Timer and get one of Kims meditations in your ears! You won't regret it!

Wouldn't it be great if you could just go into a shop and pick your purpose, buy it and then get along with fulfilling it. Oh how our problem solving human brain would love that! your purpose isn't a tangible object. It's not something you can hold in your hand and know you've got it. I talk about my purpose journey, how my purpose started with just showering daily and take care of myself so I could heal from my post natal depression. Purpose is something that evolves, it's not going to be the same in 5yrs time than what it is now. Finding it is more about following it. It's also about looking at the beliefs that have been ingrained or tattooed into you, and deciding if it's something that you want tattooed on you for life! Tune in and let go of the fear and anxiety that comes with needing to know your purpose and learn how to follow it in a way that makes you feel good and trust that you're headed in the right direction.

Anita is a free birthing Mama, birth keeper, energy healer and women's circles facilitator. She is a light and shadow worker, leading conscious women to an awakening of a new (yet ancient) paradigm of birth. She guides birthing mothers and wild women through the reclamation of their power, via reconnection to the spiritual and ritualistic elements of nature, intuition, earth medicine and the sacred cycles. But it wasn't always that way. Anita took the typical 'box checking path' that society drills into us by going to uni to pursue a career in teaching that she didn't even really know why she was doing it! By chance (or fate), a move for her family across the other side of the country, allowed her to step into her true self without the judgment of those around her that she had known all her life. But then, she had to come back home and decide to either step into that true version of herself or hide herself to avoid the judgement from the people who had known her her whole life. Tune in to gain some courage and inspiration on how to stay true to you, even if your truth is something that challenges the norms.

Ally's story is one on par with Piper Kerkman, author of Orange is the new Black. Apart from my meeting with Piper on Necker Island, I have never met anyone that has been to prison before. Ally's story will be one that is bound to leave an impact and have you thinking twice about women (and men for that matter) who are incarcerated. As Piper said to us last year, "the system is designed to harm, not heal". Ally managed to find herself, her purpose and a new reason for living, behind bars. Having to get clean, cold turkey, with no medical support, she quickly found a way to have a currency and gain some power while she was in jail. Her story is one that inspires, causes you to reflect and maybe, just maybe will give you a completely new outlook on the people behind bars in our country. An episode you will want to listen to every second of, so tune in.

A common theme with the amazing people I interview on my podcast is "FIND YOUR TRIBE". It is SO SO SO important. In last weeks episode with Sarah she talked about it being one of the key factors in her success. My guest on next weeks episode says the same thing (ironically her and Sarah are good friends). Success leaves clues! It is definitely hands down one of the major factors in my success to the point that I am so protective of it now, I protect it as a priority in my life. Breaking away from people who aren't heading in the direction. you want to take your life is one of the hardest things you will do on your journey to finding yourself and your own Ruby Slippers. Hard initially, but once you've made the split or created the distance, you will allow space for so many more wonderful more aligned people to come in. You have to go and find them though, and trust me when I say, they are waiting for you and will welcome you with open arms! If you're struggling to find your tribe, tune in and get some tips so you can bring more relationships into your life that are aligned with the direction you want your life to head.

If sunshine was a person, it would be Sarah Davidson. Co Founder of the well known match tea brand Matcha Maiden, co-owner and founder of the Matcha Mylk Bar in Melbourne, host of the highly reviewed podcast "Seize the Yay", instagram influencer and just a down right amazing human. Sarah was a lawyer, and after burning out and contracting a parasite, she discovered Matcha Tea while on a business trip. Little did she know this was the beginning of the amazing story of Match Maiden. Her posts are some of the favourite when they come up on my instagram feed as she always keeps it real, has a smile and at least one of every 3 posts you will crack up laughing. Sarah is all about putting the fun back into work, business and life. Having interviewed some of Australia'a and the worlds leading experts on business, it was such an honour to have her as a guest on my show. Sarah is one of my Necker Island sisters who I am so grateful to have connected with and have in my life. One of my favourite interviews, you will LOVE IT! Tune in now!

Forgiveness, such a loaded word. It's easier to say than it is to actually do. In fact you can say you've forgiven someone but if you still get a little bit of happiness when you hear of them struggling or feel a bit angry when they have something good happen in their life, you haven't truly forgiven them. I share a story of how I forgave someone in my life who has hurt me more than I ever humanly thought possible. I don't talk specifics about them or the situation, but I'm sure alot of you can relate to having someone do wrong by you and inflict so much pain that you wonder how on earth you would ever forgive it. It's a process, and for me it took alot of meditation, journaling and inner work, and then one day I let it go. I physically felt it leave my body. It was at that moment I realise forgiveness has nothing to do with the other person, it's not condoning what they did or saying that they are right, it's about freeing yourself of the pain. It's the greatest gift you can give yourself. If you have someone in your life that you need to forgive, headphones in, volume up!

When you first start to figure out that out have been living life based on other people's beliefs and not your own, it can be really overwhelming and daunting as you start to head down the yellow brick road of "WTF do I actually want for myself and my life". It's very easy to watch those who have been doing to personal development work for years and getting amazing results and ask "why am I not there yet", or even think "I don't even know what purpose is, what all these purpose people talking about". My beautiful amazing wonderful friend Jess, who I met 4yrs ago, totally gets this. She is a successful work from home mother who is trained and used to work in early childhood before having her own babies and it wasn't until the birth of her first child that she started to 'wake up' and look into things more. The realisation that she is now fully responsible for the life of this child and all the decisions being made for her are on Jess, she wanted to understand things more, look into things more and do what she could to do what's best for her daughter. Enter the Rabbit Hole of unlearning all we have been fed and actually looking at things critically, questioning things and asking yourself "how does this feel for me and my life". If you are feeling a bit lost and "when the F is my purpose going to drop into my life", this is the episode for you.

Let's be honest, of all the things that cripple people, that stop them from following their purpose, living out their dreams…..actually even stops them from dreaming, is the fear that not only will you fail, but even worse, that people will SEE you fail! It stops people, cripples people and pushes them into the cave of ‘oh no I’m FINE’ ‘Actually I’m really content, I have a good life, it would be selfish to want for more’ or ‘I’m not the kind of person that has dreams come true’ etc etc, all the bullshit excuses that you can muster up. 9 times out of 10 they all come back to I’M SO SCARED OF WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF PEOPLE SEE ME FAIL THAT IT PARALYSES ME FROM DOING ANYTHING WITH MY LIFE. Ok, so now we have addressed the elephant in the room, what do we do about it? Tune in….. answers are in this episode. Make sure to share it if it helped you and head to iTunes and leave me 5 stars so others know this is a good show to tune into ;)

How on earth do you pull someones purpose out of all these achievements…… lawyer, comedian, radio host, yoga instructor, podcaster, producer, business owner….oh and MOTHER! And no, I am not talking about multiple people, all this is ONE woman! Mel Sargent is my podcast producer, the owner and founder of Newcastle Podcast Station and one half of Australia’s top rated podcast for mothers NHM - I Got It From My Mumma.
I’m a bit of a people watcher, I love watching people when they’re not on stage, not ‘working’ or have an audience, and just see what they do. As I started to work with Mel and watch her work with her clients and myself, and learnt about her and all she has accomplished in her life, her purpose was so clear to me. Mel lives to empower people to ‘be better’. Not in a you’re not enough way, but to use me as an example, great at talking, no idea about podcasting, media, PR, none of it. Have a mission and vision I want to share with the world, no idea how to do it, I’m just following the breadcrumbs. Mel see’s me, and she’s like ‘oh you’ve so got this, let me help you do it better’. She hates injustice, is all for putting the power back with the people and uses her skills to elevate people so that when they’re ‘doing it better’, they’re having a bigger impact and helping more people. She is hilarious and so much fun to work with. Enjoy listening to her wisdom of how to overcome rejection, keep going, and being ok with the process as your purpose changes and evolves as you do.

Deliberate. Conscious. Humble. Three words that will come out of your mouth when you are looking at someone who is living their life on purpose. Purpose driven people don’t whinge and complain much if at all. They don’t wish their life was different because they are doing what they can to create the life they want. They have taken the time to sit down and answer the questions:
Who do I want to be?
How do I want to show up in the world?
When people look at me, what do I want to represent?
How do I want to be remembered?
What makes me happy, full of joy?
And then, after they’ve answered those questions, they are living life daily in accordance to those answers. They do this despite the judgment from others, despite the fact that the majority of the time they are going against what society has brainwashed us to believe. The way they speak, think, dress, invest, spend, work etc is deliberate. There is a reason behind it. With a lot of the reasons being how can I bring more joy to my life and to the world. They are conscious, awake, have decided their terms of what life is FOR THEM, and they are living it daily. Every single human on the planet can do this, tune in if you want some tips to help you along the way.

Ever had the words “oh if I was just like >>INSERT NAME<< I’d be able to >>insert thing you are avoiding<<. I have been very blessed to have a achieved a high level of success in the direct sales industry and in doing so, has given me the privileged position of watching others try and “be” like me or other successful marketers in a way to grow their businesses. Right down to the point of copying my word for word presentation. As flattering as it is, and I am so happy to have been able to help lots of people, the worst worst worst thing you can do is try and be like someone else. You will never ever ever ever come out on top, or, be the best at what you do. EVER! I know, because like the people who copy. me, I also have copied others on my way up, and in doing so I EXTENDED the time it would take me to get where I am and also have spent so much time trying to do things like others that I again, put myself and my business behind as I was doing what I thought I “should” be doing rather than just being myself! I’m speaking from both sides of the fence here. The BEST thing you can do is stop coping other people. But how? When you have no idea what to do…. Or how to find your own way of doing things…. how? Tune in and find out!

Dr Olivia Thomas is a chiropractor, multiple practice owner, kinesiologist, musculoskeletal acupuncturist, NET practitioner, gut health guru and wife and mother to three little humans. Two of them are on this earth and her third left earth at 14hrs old. His death is still unexplained as he was a completely normal and healthy baby boy. Taking us on her journey down her own yellow brick road to the point she is at now, where once again the house has landed, and she’s not in Kansas anymore, Dr Olivia talks about the lack of emotional intelligence in the majority of the population when it comes to dealing with grief and loss and how she is using this horrific experience to fuel her passion and purpose even more to give mothers and families of babies who have passed away a voice.
Tune in to hear Dr. Liv’s story but also to learn how to respond to someone who has gone through a horrific loss and hint, running away and avoid them is not it!

The unspoken struggles of motherhood that don’t make the meme’s or the facebook highlights are very real and can cripple women all over the world as they have their babies and jump into the space of “WTF just happened to me”. There’s an expectation that we’re just supposed to know. You’re a women, so you should just know how to be a mother right? Those famous words “It’s natural for women to be mothers”. Actually, it’s the hardest, most challenging thing a woman can ever do. And we don’t talk about it!
That is all in the process of changing and Amy Taylor-Kabbaz is leading the way for women to truly understand the process we all go through when we become mothers. It’s a very real thing, it even has a name….. Matrescence, like adolescence for teens, it’s an actual thing! I know right! Where was that when I had my kids??
Amy’s work is life changing. A complete game changer for mothers all over the globe. This is one of the most inspiring and heart felt interviews I’ve ever done. You are going to love it, love Amy and learning about how she found her purpose and lives it every day. Make sure to share this one, there are SO many women out there who need to hear it.

Kicking off season 4 with a BANG! This interview wasn’t planned for this season AT ALL! In fact it was booked well before the 2020 Black Lives Matter Riots and Protests started to take place. Christina Austin a Maori Woman, mother of girls, an accountant by degree, left accounting to pursue and successfully create a six figure income in the direct sales industry and like myself, is also living without their mother in their life. I was going to interview Christina about how she found her purpose by dropping her corporate job and stepping outside the mainstream and also loosing her mum helped her find her purpose. However, Christina is also a very vocal activist on race equality and diversity. She constantly uses her social media presence and influence to talk about race, white privileged, what it’s like to be someone with brown skin in a majority white skin world and more recently how just because she’s brown, doesn’t mean she knows what it’s like to be a black person. We talked about how over the last year she has lost 600+ followers due to advocating and talking about race and lack of diversity in marketing, corporations etc, to now be flooded with questions and overnight followers because she does talk about it and can relate to it as she has lived it her whole life. If you posted about black lives matter, put a black square on your social feeds, I hope you walk your talk and will take the time to listen to this and really have a think about the part you are playing in this narrative. We all play a part, it’s up to us as a collie five to change it. And a couple of posts online isn’t going to do much. Tune in, share this with your friends, Christina gives some awesome tips on what you can do if you really want to be part of the change. Find Christina @thealmosthippy on Facebook and Instagram.

OMG! You guys, this just has to STOP! How many times does something happen and basically, because you are so uncomfortable in feeling uncomfortable emotions that subconsciously you go “how can I put a silver lining around this”!! SO OFTEN!!!
Silver linings come ok, I’m not saying they don’t. But when you try and force a silver lining, you take away from the emotion and feeling of the present moment. When you try and silver line someone else’s pain, you take away from their pain and emotion.
We MUST learn to be ok with being uncomfortable…. AND…. With being with others while they are feeling big uncomfortable emotions and NOT FIXING IT. We don’t have to fix everything all at once, straight away. What we need to learn to do is feel uncomfortable emotions, sit with others who feel them, not try to fix them and just ride the waves so that we can feel them out of our body, out of our soul and THEN, from that space, allow the true healing to happen. Tune in, share this far and wide. This is an epidemic and we need to change it!

No no no just listen to me, if you just read this book, come to this event, go to this training etc etc sound familiar? Maybe it's you or maybe you have been the recipient of it. Either way it's frustrating. Someone trying to force you or trying to help someone so much because you just want them to have the amazingness that you do but they just don't want it! This came up for me in my relationship with my husband. And to be honest if I hadn't of stopped I'm pretty sure I would have pushed him away completely. Learn about my story with him, with others, and how to learn that you are NOT the teacher for everyone and to allow them their own space and time to find what is right for them. Tune in now!

Jazze is a powerhouse. She does not have a bone in her body that has procrastination in it! She thinks, plans and does! I have never met anyone who takes action like this woman. She does it so easily because she has a kind of trust in life, in the process that is as certain as the sky is blue. She is a mother, wife, entrepreneur, lawyer and all round bad ass spiritual boss lady! She is also a very treasured friend of mine, I am so grateful to have her on the show. There's 3 100% guarantees in life, death, taxes and judgement! Like it or not, it is going to happen! And, you are going to do it! I know right, I said it, you are going to judge! It's part of being human, and we fight it so much which causes us alot of pain, guilt, shame etc. What is we didn't fight judgement, what if we sought to understand it? What if we used it as a mirror to look back at ourselves and ask "why am I so triggered by this" and also "why am I. not triggered by this". When you know who you are, and you are confident in it, it's a lot easier to not be triggered because you don't believe it. Struggle with the fear of judgement of others, or maybe you judge yourself to the point that it cripples you? Tune in!

How to be a hard arse but not an arsehole.Life is full of situations that require us to step up. Due to the lack of emotional maturity of 95% of the population, we struggle to have hard convo's, to really listen and control ourselves so that the best outcome for all can be achieved. People often mistake being assertive for being nasty or mean. In the words of the amazing Brene Brown "Strong back, soft front, wild heart". If you struggle to stand your ground, have firm conversations in a way that is still kind, respectful and doesn't hurt the other person, this is the episode for you!

"People often underestimate what you can do over a long period of time and overestimate what you can do in a short period of time". Rosie has been setting and smashing goals for years, and even in all this experience, it's really only in the last 6 months that she has grasped the concept of continual small steps daily. We get caught up in the big event or the end result and forget to look at the small steps and celebrate the little milestones along the way. Life is to short to learn all the lessons yourself, learn them from people who have made the mistakes already then implement them. Want to achieve your goals, this is the episode for you.

Leah was an expert box checker. Highschool done - check, become a police officer - check, be a good citizen and be of service to the community - check. She was ticking boxes and doing all the things you're "supposed" to do in order to be a good citizen. While serving her community felt right, she was still riddled with anxiety and could not let go of the fear of other people's judgement of her.
In a series of events, Leah went working as a police officer in her community to rehabilitating herself after a serious car accident that left her unable to work. But this didn't break her. Her breaking point came in a way that most wouldn't expect, from dead plants that the dog destroyed! The one thing she had nurtured and cared for when all of her identity was gone had been destroyed. It was from this broken space, from her rock bottom, that Leah let go of the person she thought she was, and started to piece herself back together, re-discovering who she truly is.
This is one of my favs. Listen to it all the way to the end. The most gems are in the last 10mins but you need the whole story to see why they're so special. My fav quote of Leah's is "Denial doesn't change what happened. It doesn't take it back. But it does stop you from healing. It does stop you from moving forward.

A shorter version of a presentation I gave at a business retreat on the Central Coast NSW in August 2019. I recorded it but it was a bit industry specific but really wanted to put it on the podcast. So re-recorded it so that it can be relevant for everyone.
If you do not define what success is for yourself, it is very easy for you to attach yourself to what other people deem as successful.
This podcast episode unveils what defining success on your terms is and also what happens when you create 'success' based on what other people think. If you don't define this for yourself, then you do life via default.

Imagine going back to work, 2 weeks after you had attended the funeral of your partner, who just died from cancer, to be pulled into a room as=nd told "it's been 2 weeks, we thought you would have moved on by now and you're making other people in the office feel uncomfortable" YEP!!! Can you even imagine!!
This was the reality for Nikki Shah, but it wasn't the first time she'd encountered this complete unawareness of her circumstances. Nikki cared for her partner throughout his cancer diagnosis, treatment and up until he passed, and in that time they both experienced the reality of what we are faced with today, in that humans basically suck at dealing with uncomfortable emotions. Going through what has been the most painful experience of her life, Nikki observed and experienced the lack of understanding, empathy, support and resources available for people around her to utilise to be able to help themselves with their emotions, so they could support her and her partner.
After dealing with the death of her partner, and the continued lack of understanding and empathy from certain experiences she had with people, Nikki decided to do something about it. She left her security, her great paying job and leapt into the world of uncertain, creating the business My Muse, an agency designed to go into workplaces and teach them how to be able to support their staff who are either going through cancer or who are supporting people who are going through cancer. She is teaching people how to be conscious and aware enough to consider other people's feeling and emotions and giving them tools and strategies to be able to implement it in a professional environment.
Nikki's work is so important, her story is inspiring.
My fav Ruby Slipper moments were: "Women are great at pushing ourselves, but not so great at giving ourselves a break" "Find your tribe to be your cheer squad, on the good and the bad days" "Celebrate all the wins, not ust the big ones"

Former Project Runway Australia Judge Sarah Gale knows a thing or two when it comes to fashion. As one of the industries leading experts on the subject, I'm guessing you're wondering how Sarah and what is renowned as the very superficial fashion world has to do with Ruby Slippers?!
Sarah's journey to finding herself in an industry that is far from that is nothing short of amazing and I can guarantee you this interview is not what you will be expecting. I LOVE this interview so much, because what we wear has the ability to lift us up. As Sarah says, it's an expression of our soul. I guarantee you, you'll look at your wardrobe differently after this and ask yourself "How can I use what I wear to show up in the world in a way that reflects who I am and makes me feel amazing".
Enjoy this episode, it's full of golden nuggets and lots of thought provoking inspiration. Because what woman out there doesn't want to look in the mirror and feel amazing? Really? If you want more of that, this interview is for you! Enjoy x

Jessica Ritchie is a women who knows what it is to experience struggle and trauma on a personal level and also watching those around her go through it. From a young age Jess had to learn how to become very self sufficient in caring for her mother and siblings. Despite the struggles, she built a very successful career in marketing, working with some of Australia's top brands such as Super Cheap Auto and Tourism Queensland to name a few. After building a successful high paying career, Jess took on the new role of mother, which bought with it the question of who am I now. The pivotal point for Jess was when she watched on the news that a police officer in her local town, the father of two, had been shot dead. Given her husband was the only police officer with two children, seeing this on the news, listening to the helicopters flying around, and sitting and waiting at home for the knock on the door was the point in Jess's life where even amidst this intense trauma, she managed to find the strength to hold some control over the situation. Thankfully, the news got it wrong, but it was a day and emotions that she will never forget and forever changed how she took on life.
From great pain comes great healing, and what has now turned into Jess being a light for other women in business. She has used her marketing career and skills to form her own brand where she now helps other women in business to wear their Ruby Slippers and have their power shine through their businesses to connect and serve their audience.
This is such an inspiring interview. There was a point in this where you could have heard a pin drop. Jess's story is one of strength, determination, growth, overcoming challenges and coming home to herself, finding that power within, and using it for good.

Jo and Tracey are the CEO's and founders of the amazing brand Additive Free Lifestyle, a business that teaches anyone who wants to learn about the long list of side effects that come with consuming additives and preservatives.
Jo's daughter was very sick as a toddler, constant ear infections, behavioural issues, surgeries, antibiotics, you name it, she had it! After being politely asked to leave 2 daycares, Jo made an appointment to get her daughter assessed for ADHD. There was a 5 month wait! Shortly after this, she discovered preservative 102 and that it was linked to ADHD type behaviours. Jo decided to experiment and eliminate it from their family. Not only did her daughters symptoms, ALL OF THEM, improve in 48hrs, but 5 months later she canceled the appointment for her daughter to be assessed for ADHD because she didn't need it anymore.
After that, Tracey jumped on board and the sisters created their business which is thriving and helping so many families to avoid unnecessary surgeries, medications and specialist appointments and improve the quality of life of their children and families just by eliminating additives and preservatives.Any parent who has struggled with sick children, ADHD, behavioural issues, asthma, any of it, MUST listen to this podcast. It could be the thing that changes your life, and, the life of the people you love the most.

Lisa was living what most would refer to as the dream. Majorly successful PR career, constantly around A list celebrities, living in London and regularly popping over to Spain for the weekend, money was no issue. Every external and materialistic thing you could want, she had, and, she was really loving her life. But then, the blue pill expectations of a woman's age and motherhood came knocking at her subconscious and she gave up her life and career to move back to Australia and start a family. And as life would have it, it didn't go to plan. With a 3yr old and a 3 day old premi in intensive care, she was left as a single mum, with no job and living with her parents!
So what do we do when the blue pills don't work, we pick ourselves up, pop some red pills and decide that our life is going to be on our terms. We let go of the picture and the checkboxes that society (blue pill world) tells us we need to tick and we design our life our way on our terms and with purpose.
Lisa is an author, an award winning business woman and an absolute inspiration on how by dreaming small, you end up achieving the big stuff!

Taylor would have to be one of the fierce warrior Mumma's I have ever come across. Her constant courage and strength to stand in her truth and continually advocate for what she believes in despite the constant bullying and harassment by online trolls and main stream media is so admirable. Now a heads up, we will be discussing a topic that cops a lot of controversy, but I encourage you, to sit in non judgement (see my last episode if you struggle with this), stay curious and just listen. You never know, it could be information that could change your life and maybe answer some lingering questions that your intuition may have had. Taylor is pure class, has handled the horrible treatment, bullying and trolls like a pro and I continually admire her strength, courage and commitment to staying true to herself and her values.

"A guidepost to how spiritually evolved you are, is how you treat others who don't support you or don't agree with you" Adyashanti. Judgement. Something we all do. The key to red pill living is to become aware of it and train yourself to sit in non judgement but just to stay curious. To learn to listen not to react, but to just hear them and understand them. No matter what the subject. Judgement causes divide, misunderstanding, disconnection and unhappiness. A beautiful quote is "LOVE is the absence of judgement". My intention with this episode is bring awareness to you around how you might judge, how to become aware of it, and how to learn to recognise it and choose to come from a place of curiosity and understanding vs judging. The world would be a whole lot more peaceful and productive place if we could all jump into non judgement a whole lot more often.

Declan spent his whole early life trying to live up to his father's expectations, or rather, what he perceived them to be. He was so invested in proving himself that he ended up sick with an eating disorder which was the turning point for him to start the journey down the red pill rabbithole. Now a successful founder of BU Coaching Academy, working with some of Australia's leading entrepreneurs (name drop Jack Delosa from The Entourage), Declan is committed to positively impacting a trillion lives and his movement is starting to do just that. So many ah-ha moments in this episode, my fav would be "You're not worried about what other people think of you, you're worried that they're going to confirm something that you think about yourself". Enjoy this episode and give me some iTunes LOVE (in the form of 5 starts pretty please) if you find it inspires you to keep taking those red pills.

Fear is probably one of the biggest things, if not the biggest thing, that stops people from moving forward. Keeps us stuck in our tracks and the life we want is just passing us by as long as it's got a hold on us. I talk about fear in this episode, my struggle with it, and how I harness it so I can get control of it so it's not controlling me.

Renee Wilkinson is a classic example of someone who has chosen to quit blue pills and is committed to red pill life. From a highly successful career in the media industry in Sydney, ticking boxes and achieving new heights left right and centre, she couldn't deny the overwhelming empty feeling that came from ticking boxes, meeting other people's expectations and ignoring that inner voice that was saying "girl, WTF are you actually doing!"
She gave it all up, set herself a time frame and a budget, committed 100% to blue pill detox and taking those red pills daily and not only has she had success, she is full, aligned and living a life that doesn't drain her soul but rather fills it and inspires her to life others as she continues to rise.

Let Rosie guide you to find your Ruby Slippers and learn how to use them here
When you first start down the rabbit hole, you will find that most of what you have been conditioned to believe isn't true. Well, true for you anyway. The majority of people adopt beliefs and opinions based on other people before ever stopping to ask themselves "what do I actually believe?" "what do I value?" "what is true for me?". This episode covers what we first experience when we start popping red pills and how to navigate in the world when the majority of people keep taking the blue pills! For blue/red pill info, please refer to the first episode of this podcast. Please rate me, quote me and share this podcast on your socials to help me help more people and bring a dream of mine to life! xo R

The concept of Ruby Slippers comes from the well known Wizard of Oz where Dorothy has them all along, but it's not until the end that she learns how to use them. We all have all we need within us, it's just a matter of figuring it out and learning how to tap into it. This podcast wasn't always about Ruby Slippers, in fact it started talking about Red Pills and Rabbit Holes! The journey Rosie went on to eventually get into some Ruby Slippers is pretty amazing! If you're wondering what Ruby Slippers and this whole thing is all about, this is the podcast you need to start with.
