Dr. Yu's Mission: To create radical change and true wellness in my patients through functional medicine, unwavering dedication and the destruction of limiting beliefs.

Her Story: When she was 38, she discovered a way to reverse the symptoms of her early menopause. You can read the full story here, but the short version is this: standard medical practices, which she calls “factory medicine,” failed her. Doctors couldn’t or wouldn’t put in the time to help her find out the root cause of her health crisis. They wanted to hand her a bottle of pills and move on.

As a doctor, a scientist and a woman, she rejected that. The journey to finding her own cure led her to functional medicine: a personalized, systems-oriented model that empowers the patient to achieve the highest expression of your health by addressing the underlying causes of your problems.

She said no to factory medicine, and has created a practice that welcomes her patients to do the same.

Will Bowen’s life has been a quest to understand living. Why, for example, if we all have free will, ambitions, dreams and desires do some of us enjoy health, happiness and prosperity while others struggle their whole lives?

Will was born into a family rich with material possessions but desperately poor in love and acceptance. On the outside, things looked good. Inside, however, the family was a swirling vortex of pain, criticism and anger. Will was deeply unhappy and turned to overeating as a coping strategy leaving him morbidly obese as a teenager. At 19, Will set about changing himself and lost over 100 pounds. Graduating college, he went on to an award winning career as a top salesman in media and insurance sales before becoming a Unity Minister in 2003.

“The weight that I carried was an external representation of the internal emotional weight I struggled with every day.” Will says, “Becoming thin and even succeeding in business didn’t ease the pain I carried inside. It took a purple bracelet that came into my life a few decades later to do that.”

In July 2006 Will was teaching a class on prosperity and offered a simple idea of using a purple bracelet for people to monitor their success at breaking the habit of complaining. His idea exploded around the world and more than 11 million purple Complaint Free bracelets have been distributed to people in more than 106 countries.

Will’s been featured on Oprah, NBC’s The Today Show, CBS Sunday Morning, The ABC World News Tonight, Fox & Friends, and in hundreds of TV and radio interviews around the world. Stories about him and the movement he created have been written about in over 200 newspapers as well as People, O magazine, Self and Chicken Soup for the Soul. Today, Will speaks to audiences around the world helping them understand and stop complaining.

Americans face daily struggles with ballooning costs, unsatisfactory outcomes, and over-whelming frustration with the U.S. healthcare system which aims to address illness but rarely accomplishes real health. In this episode, I talk about how you can practice mindfulness while engaging in your favorite hobbies.

Mindfulness practice doesn't have to be formal. Every moment can be an opportunity for mindfulness practice. By anchoring one or two hobbies with mindfulness, and practice them on a regular basis will help with your anxiety, stress, depression, and improve your overall state of mind.

It's essentially a practice to be in the present moment, and not lost in thoughts.

The secret to living an exceptional life--with fulfilling work and leisure, meaningful relationships, and time for oneself--is finding balance. Briana and Dr. Peter Borten have the strategies you need to achieve this all-important balance in your life--even in the face of chaos.

The Bortens focus on three fundamental principles of a satisfying life:

Briana and Dr. Peter Borten have made it their mission to create a more peaceful world by helping individuals reestablish a sense of inner peace and balance. They are the founders of The Dragontree, a wellness organization with holistic spas in Portland and Boulder, online courses, natural body care products, and resources for vibrant living.

Peter, a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and certified Qi Gong instructor, has taught extensively and has authored hundreds of articles on psychological and physical health. Dr. Nand's healing journey began while she was still a teenager. At 19 years old and in college, she was in an automobile accident and suffered severe whiplash. With debilitating pain, she went to a massage therapist who immediately referred her to a chiropractor. After three visits, she could move her neck and actually resumed her normal life.

Later that same year, she was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. My general practitioner wasn’t giving her any answers about this and feeling frustrated; She began to think deeply about her own health. Looking back, she realized she'd been carrying a huge amount of stress… far too much for a teenager to handle. She started to explore health solutions in earnest and studied any health profession that wasn’t drug-related.

Motivated by my experience with chiropractic, she attended Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon graduating as a Doctor of Chiropractic. For five years before opening Innate Chiropractic & Wellness Centre in Vancouver she participated in seminars and worked with some of the best chiropractors in the industry.

The importance of preventative care and healthy living is heightened for her, as a cancer survivor. She cares for her patients by encompassing all components of health. By focusing on physical movement, diet, emotional, mental, and spiritual well being, she views her patient as a whole and examines all of the aspects that create health!

Mike Tidwell is a great friend and nature enthusiast who resides in Reliz Canyon in Central California with his family. He is an insurance guy by trade and an Earth history student by heart. He loves to study the "nature of things," Essentially having fun trying to understand how things work. We are here only such a short period of time, and it would be a shame to pass through life without knowing the origin and the who and the what of our surroundings. The universe is a very strange place when you sit down and really think about it. The plan was simple, keep his day job and explore the nature of things whenever possible. But the more he learned about his surroundings, the more nagging doubts began to creep into his mind that the way he was raised to live was not, in any way, sustainable. Each year seemed to bear ever more spectacular losses to natural systems and the damage to the atmosphere from carbon emissions criminal. He did not reach this conclusion lightly. The first time, he got the feeling that something was wrong with the environment, happened on a trip he made to the Monte Verde Cloud Forest in Costa Rica in 1988. One of the interesting denizens of this forest was a beautiful amphibian called the Golden Frog. He remembers very clearly the frustration our guide felt as he searched the forest looking for what is normally a very common and easy animal to spot in these forests. Later he learned that he had just missed seeing them. A month earlier the frogs were common, and suddenly they were nowhere to be found. In fact, no one ever saw them again; these frogs had gone extinct. Shocking information for sure. But why? What had caused the forest to lose one of its most iconic animals? The complete loss of the Golden Frog from the pristine forest was disturbing and it got his attention like a snake in the trail. At once he wondered if this was just an isolated incident or was it part of a much larger problem. The population of humans was at an all-time high, and so it was logical to assume some level of loss. Once he started to look for loss, he found it virtually everywhere, even in areas of perfect wilderness. Now he was really hooked. So what started out as a birding trip, turned into a lifelong quest to understand why the environment was falling apart en masse. He went on like this for a while, then one Saturday in 2002 it hit him---the real culprit must be carbon. But how could he be sure? He then ran to the bookstore and got nothing. He felt he might be on to something big. Like the end of life as we know it type deal, so he ran back home and began pulling information off the internet. He had to know, he couldn't wait so he decided to research it on his own. He went down the rabbit hole, researching relentlessly every single day for 4 years straight. Excited to share what he found, he started going to authorities in an effort to try to raise awareness and change our policies on carbon emission. He thought everyone would care about what he had to say because this matter is relevant to all life on earth. It turned out to be a major disappointment because he was met with so much resistance. He then decided to invest his life's savings in the renewable energy technology instead. A decision that would change his life, for if the project failed he realized that he would have to work until the day he died. Through many ups and downs, the company Apparent Inc turned out to be successful as the first solar power plant in the world to provide grid support. The first one of its kind and his company is revolutionizing the way we manage the grid. Unfortunately, the stress of this process have accumulated in his body and manifested itself as prostate cancer. He will talk about that journey and how he overcame it and what he had learned in the process

Join the conversation at www.thewellness.cafe and www.wellnesscafecommunity.com Get your free book by emailing thewellnesscafepodcast@gmail.com and tell me how meditation and mindfulness practice has helped you in your life. On Today’s mindful Monday episode I want to talk about being mindful when you look at a problem or conflict, or what is perceived to be a problem. Many times when things go wrong it triggers an automatic stress response, like anger or disappointment. We are so quick to turn to our emotions, I am guilty of it as well. Recognize that we are reacting to the situation is the first step. Why is it that you are so mad? you may ask yourself. Or just recognize that I am angry right now. Because at that moment you are observing that you are mad, and subconsciously you know that you are not the angry emotion. There are a few things you want to consider before involved yourself on a justifiable emotional train. 1. Take a deep breath. Deep breaths always help interrupt the pattern and ground yourself in the present. 2. Did I agree to get involved in the first place? Did you sign yourself up to be in that position given the knowledge and the risk and the rewards being involved in that situation or person? If it’s something that you created, then the next step is to assume responsibility and take ownership of it. You can begin the process of solving it. 3. Seek help, talk to someone who can possibly point you in the right direction, be open about the possibility of being wrong and course correct. 4. “If there is no solution to the problem then don't waste time worrying about it. If there is a solution to the problem then don't waste time worrying about it.” 5. Find the positives. Dive into the current situation and see the actions that you are required to take in order to solve the problems. What kind of skills are you sharpening? How is it going to help you in the future situation? How is it going to help you in another aspect of life?

Anger is an emotion. A negative emotion that will do nothing but the damaging situation and the relationship with other people and yourself. However, thinking that you are somehow wrong or fault for feeling angry and beat yourself up for it isn’t the right way to live neither. You shouldn’t be suppressing that emotion. The idea is to tenderly accept that you are angry and gently come out of it. “Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned.” ― Gautama Buddha

On today's Mindful Monday we are going to talk about this concept called Digital Detox. I recently enrolled in the six-week-shift program with Scott Riley of the causeway living it’s a accountability group to help me improve in 6 areas of health. One of the task was digital detox. You must be done with all electronics by 10pm or at least 1 hour before bed to go to sleep by 11pm. The same concept I preach if you go back and listen to the 6 steps on how to sleep like a baby. The episode really really helps if you have a sleep problem, you can’t sleep or if you can’t stop thinking. Go check out the previous episode there. The acronym was USLEEP and the U is unplug 1 hour before bed. I know first hand the benefit of unplugging before bed but have been doing it for a period of time last year but have not lately. I was not being accountable for the first 6 days I didn’t go a day without being able to shutdown for at least 60 minutes before bed and my excuse was I needed to work on the podcast etc. And when I finally forced myself to do it I have not missed a day! It has made such a profound change in my life. I’m telling you. So if you are stressed, overwhelmed, and can’t sleep or can’t seem to shut your mind off. This will help you as well. I'll make a rare guarantee right now! Here is what I found in the past 2 weeks when I refrained from my phones 1 hour before bed. 1. Freedom - I know some of you listeners might be thinking what the hell are you talking about Dr. Jon? Freedom from what? I’m not lock in a cage!! I am a free human being with a free mind. The answer is Freedom from the Human Data Stream. Which is the term I pulled from the book “The Well Life” by Briana and Dr. Peter Bortens, Freedom to be here. I know it sound cliche but I think we as a society are using the phone so much that the electronics have the power over us more than we realize. So number one is the freedom from our mechanical extension and the freedom to be with myself uninterrupted. 2. Less compulsive - I’ve been catching myself checking my phones for no reason. I mean no reason at all besides just to see if there is anything going on in my email inbox and social media feed. Even though I turned off all notifications except text messages. Meaning I have to physically press the app to know that there is an update. I still became somewhat compulsive about that and I didn’t like that particular behavior. The digital detox required me to essentially set up a new boundary. The new rule is “I don’t” participate in any screen time 1 hour before bed. Not “I can’t”. I train my brain to be aware of my own compulsion and HAVE A MENTAL DISCIPLINE to not follow any random thoughts that come up, Like “I wonder the name of the show that my friend mentioned to me earlier today” or “I wonder when’s Amy’s birthday so I can buy her a gift in advance”. The benefit of being connected to google or “The Human Data Stream” is I can find out the answers to those questions immediately. But the downside is I am spoiling my mind, I am following my mind wherever it takes me. Or I am being dragged by my mind wherever it takes me, even during a period of deep work. That can be very disruptive to me getting anything done. So during the day where I have access to my phone and emails, I see my own desire to check the phone and I have more control over it. So #2 benefit is I became less compulsive. 3. Less Anxiety - I noticed that the phone is the source of restlessness. Since it’s the access to the collective human data stream. Something is always up. Something interesting, something stimulating, whether it’s the news or updates or whatever. There’s always something that catches your attention. The question is what kind of emotion does it trigger ? And are those worth GIVING OR SPENDING your attention to? Because the information are mostly out of our control, and when we cant change it or do anything about it it makes us anxious. 4. Better Sleep The research shows that blue light or lights emitted from the LED screens this trap your circadian rhythm are you natural biologi clock it disrupts the production of melatonin which is the hormones that helps improve your sleep. 5. Focus - By refraining from the gadgets and screen at least 1 hour before bed allow me a window of time in the day that is electronic free. With the discipline I built in the short 2 weeks of digital detoxing only 1 hour a day, I notice a considerable improvement in ability to focus and do deeper work.

I don’t think the phone is evil. But I do believe with certainty that I have the tendencies to abuse it. And I am sharing this to find you all. I encourage you to assess and examine your behavior, your relationship with your phones and your electronics. Do you tend to get compulsive with it and if so have you noticed that lately? I encourage you to assess and examine your relationship with work, do you bring work to bed? Are you answering emails in your pajamas or in bed? Are you thinking about the project are people that you have to get back to because you have so much to do and so many things to be completed? Do you notice that you had a hard time fall asleep lately? Do you know this bad you have to play a movie or watch TV to help you go to bed? If you answer is yes to any of those questions you should consider trying digital detox.

A conversation dedicated to wellness Dr. Geoff Huls was seriously injured physically and emotionally in an automobile collision in 1999. This crash caused multiple contusions, fractures and killed two of his friends. A broken back and fractured leg forced him to walk with crutches followed by several months using a cane. It was a tragic part of his life that will forever be an influence on who he is and what he stands for. His wellness journey started with accepting that he was not invincible. It sent him on a quest for knowledge and eventually led him to Chiropractic College, where he was introduced to Dr. James Chestnut and the Wellness Certification he holds through Life West & the International Chiropractic Association. The First21 was created to be your first steps on a lifetime journey of health and wellness. Based on the principle that it takes 21 days to make or break a habit, the First21 works by making things simple. It splits the complexity of wellness into doable health challenges to be carried out over habit-forming periods of time. These challenges are meant to be repeated to help you continually improve, maintain or even to get you back on track. The First21 is your friend. It’s your simple, healthy, achievable new habit. And it’s just within your reach! Discussions - His life changing experience and how he overcame his own health crisis - What does it mean to be 100% of your 100% - It’s socially accepted to be sick - Why unrealistic goal setting is sabotaging your success - In order to truly be “well” you have to eat, move, and think appropriately at the same time for a period of time - How to combat our own “tendencies” - Get the “Basics” of the Healthy Living down - The benefit of journaling your "sugar" - 9 out of 10 kids are not eating enough vegetables - tomatoes and potatoes are vegetable staples - Lifespan vs functional life span - Gratitude challenges to improve to positive outlook on life

Happy New Year !!! It’s 2017! It’s been a fun ride, starting a podcast and learning new things and meeting new people. Let’s get on with it. On today’s episode, I want to talk about mindfulness and connection. What does it mean to have more connection? In today’s society, we live in the age of technology and it’s becoming more and more apparent that many of the tasks are being automated. Whether it’s the automated phone system when you call in for customer services at big companies. Whether it’s self-check out system at the grocery store. To promote efficiency and cost-cutting for the company, but it also cut out the human connection. To me, mindfulness is a practice, a practice that helps enrich my life. Allows me to experience the moment fully without the pollution of thoughts and judgments. Allows me to directly connect with the experience. However, many many times slept I fall out of my mindfulness practice. And I noticed that my body start to tense up I notice that I started to have anxiety. When I fall away from the mindfulness practice. And I had to pull myself back into a state that is calmer. It has been a constant push and pull trying to find the balance. But the more I devote myself to practice, my quality of life improves. Your mindfulness practice does not have to be formal on the mat type sitting meditation. It can be anything. Whatever that thing is, just fully engage 100% of your conscious attention. for me, mindful walking is one of my favorite practice. If I am cooking I am fully engaged in the act of cooking and cutting and enjoying every single moment of it. If I am with a person I notice the shape of their eyes their facial expression and I listen fully to all the words that come out. I try to listen to understand instead of listening to reply. To which since started doing the podcast I've got somewhat better at doing. Being mindful and bring present the same thing. Being mindful does not mean that you are disengaged in worldly matters or indifferent to the subject matter. I encourage you to be more mindful, to have more connection in your life. To have more connection with the people around you. To notice and acknowledge another human being as beautiful being that it's no different and you are. I encourage you to be more mindful, to have more connection with your act. To have any intention behind your doing. To be aware of the racing mind. If you are showering just shower and focus on cleansing your body washing your hair. Encourage you to be more mindful, to have more connection with your work. To keep in mind the essence of your work and why you are doing what you do. To appreciate the opportunity given. Which I talked about before in the previous episode if you look back in the archive. Most importantly I encourage you to be more mindful, to have more connection with yourself. To know your feelings. To know what decision to make for the greater good of yourself. To be in tuned with your intuition. To be able to differentiate between the constructive criticism and self-sabotaging dialogues and keep what’s important. To be more kind and loving to yourself. I wish everybody to have a better and deeper connection in 2017. Good luck and have fun on your journey and I'll see you on the next episode.

Today I want to talk about the concept of mindfulness and gratitude. The more I learn and practice both, the more I realize that they both go hand in hand. You can’t have mindfulness without gratitude and vice versa. When you are mindful, you are aware of your experience and your state of mind. When you are grateful you are aware of what you have rather than what you don’t have. Therefore, a grateful person is a mindful person. I just want to acknowledge that 2016 is about to pass. Why does it feel like it’s flying by? Is it because time is actually moving faster? Or are we too caught up in our own busyness to see it? We live in a society that promte speed, materialism, and consumerism. We are constantly told that we are not enough and we have to fill the emptiness inside with more stuff. We are tricked into being busy just for the sake of being busy. It’s your life. It’s the only thing that you have. Don’t live by the society’s agenda, don’t live by anyone else’s agenda but yours. When we are “mindless” and just going through the motion we let life happen to us. It’s easy to get caught up in the cog-wheel and take things for granted. What things do we take for granted? For example, Safety. For most of us, we don’t have to live in a constant state of fear and worry about our own lives every day. There are millions of people in this world that in 2016 still living in the war zone and getting shot at or bombed every day. Can you possibly imagine the stress and the terror that those brothers and sisters are going through? My heart goes out to those people, especially seeing what’s going in in Syria right now should make you deeply appreciate what you have right now. Sometimes we take life for granted, I am guilty of this as well. We assume that there will be tomorrow. We assume there will be the next paycheck. We assume that there will be next year. We assume that there will be tomorrow. We assume there will be the next paycheck. We assume that there will be next year. We assume there will be the next paycheck. We assume that there will be next year. We assume that there will be next year. Being mindful helps us come back to the present. Mindfulness help us train the brain to see the aliveness of the moment. In the here and now. Once you savor the experience, you realize that life is something precious and special. You see the world for what it is, without judgment and reactions. You are able to experience life fully. You are able to be present to your body, to the person in front of you and to the activity that you are engaging in. At that point, we can’t help but be grateful. Gratitude is no longer an effort. Gratitude is a product of being present and realize the importance of this experience. The more you are grateful and easier it is to be mindful. We are creating a positive snowball in our perspective. Sometimes I go through the year in review and seem that every year to me was a tremendous year for growth, both the ups and the downs. A major event in 2016 that stood out would be a severe ankle injury that I initially thought was a disaster. It hurt me physically, emotionally, and financially. But turned out that it allows me to visit my grandfather before his passing. I got to speak at his funeral and connect with many family members. I then started a podcast because I could not be active due to my injury. I learned so much through the process. I had a chance to connect with amazing guests and listeners from around the world. The ankle injury was a blessing in disguise. I wouldn’t trade those experience for anything else. Those are the things that come up for me. I'm just sharing this as an example. Now take a moment to review your year, what happened? How did those event shape you? Pause for a moment and see what comes up. Can you see that there is a blessing within every curse? I encourage you to go through your list and appreciate every single thing on that list. I encourage you to acknowledge people for something awesome that they’ve done. Acknowledge them for who they are. Acknowledge and be grateful for yourself and your actions and all the good things that you have done. Acknowledge all the perceived mistakes and bad fortunes. Because challenges are lessons in disguise. Be grateful that you have the opportunity to grow. Be grateful for 2017, as a new year marks a new beginning. All the dreams that you’ve put on hold, now it’s the time to unleash. The new year’s resolution is a great mark to start 2017 strong. Be grateful that you give yourself another jab at this thing called life. Be grateful for the people around you. Be mindful of the unrest and ongoing war and grateful for peace in your life. Be grateful for the day, be grateful that you get to wake up in the morning. Be grateful for the air you breathe. Be grateful for the respiratory system that oxygenates your blood. Be grateful for your current state of health and your ability to do something about it. Be grateful for your life challenges. Be grateful for life itself. There are hundreds of millions if not billion other people who would give anything to have your life. Are you making the most out of it? Are you at least being grateful for the hands that you are dealt? Challenges are lessons in disguise. You can’t control what life throws at you but you certainly can make what you want out of it. The gratitude exercise challenges you to extract "the good” from “the bad” and train your brain to see the situation in way that will benefit you the most. Be mindful of the present and be grateful for life. Make 2017 your best year ever.

Mindful Monday. Today I am going to talk about “work” and for those of you who are listening to this on the way to their “work” don’t tune me out yet. Please give me a few minutes to explain. When people associate the word “work”we don't associate it that with pleasure. The word work becomes somewhat dreadful. and Monday sucks and we even have the term Monday blues that means someone is mildly depressed because they have an entire work week in front of them. People say that they “have” to go to work in order to pay the bills right for the money you work for the paycheck you work for the promotion he worked for your new purchase and then that's what we associate work with. It’s because we forget to look at the true essence of work. What is the true value of your work? How are your actions or output effecting people and the world? When you start to ask deeper question and see past the definition of “work” at the superficial level and the feelings that you get when you think of work. You get connected to your true value. How am I bringing more smiles and happiness into the world? Once you get connected to that instead of seeing mundane tasks at hand, you see what it could do for yourself, the people around you, and the world that you live in. You will find that there is more fulfillment within it because if we just work for the money or the paycheck just work for mortgage. We're not going to be happy but if we focus on the True Value that we provide we will be more happy and more fulfilled. A teacher who doesn't see his true value seawork as dealing with troubled kids that are being rude and give them headache. But a teacher who realize his true worth see that he has an opportunity to enrich a human being with knowledge. To lay the foundation for the Next Generation to grow up and to be successful contributors to society. He also get to learn from his students therefore he's happy and he doesn't have to be waiting for the paycheck to be happy. An accountant who doesn't see his True Values see endless pile of paperworks, and emails and tasks and spreadsheets that have to be managed. But an accountant who see his values see the values of numbers that allows a company to have accurate picture of their finances. Therefore are able to make better decision to contribute more to the society. A street sweeper that is able to see his contribution see the happiness in cleanliness. See that he is making the street clean and when the streets are clean people that walk that street don't have to worry about trash they can feel good about the area and the space that they are in. He is creating a better atmosphere. Food server makes people happy when she delivers great tasting food. She deliver happiness, on a plate. When you see your own value in your work you don't need a manager to micromanage you because there is a drive yourself to do a better job. You understand that when you're focused the result of the work is better and there is more value to your customers or clients. As a result of that you are able to contribute more to the society and you will feel even more valuable and fulfilling. When you look at it from this perspective a smile goes a long ways it is not only infectious but is an immediate mood lifter in the room. So if you made it this far, this must have resonate with you at some level. I invite you to think about your "day-to-day job” differently today. Look beyond that and see what values are you providing. And own it. Honor it. Take pride in that and be grateful that you get to do this and get paid for it. On the other hand think about what will happen? and how many people will be affected? and in what way? if one day you don't show up. This may surprise you, but the world needs you. The world needs you to show up. And money comes as a result of you providing great value the society. Every time you get frustrated or bored with the task at hand. Just zoom out and look at the 10,000 ft view perspective and see what you're really doing and appreciate that. Join us at thewellness.cafe for more.

Join our facebook group here Today I’m going to share a tool so simple that anyone can do, that will help you manage stress in your daily life. This method is call “mindful alarm”. These alarms will trigger you to take deep breath and cultivates mindfulness in your busy day. It goes like this. 1. Set alarms on your desktop or your phone 4-6 times a day 2. Know that you’ll stop everything you do and take ten deep breath when the alarm goes off.

By doing so, I have found that. * I am reminded to take deep breath and be aware of my senses, my breath, and the fact that I am here, now. * 10 deep breaths are the space between thoughts. It give me mental breaks. I find that my focus and creativity improve after such simple 2 minutes break. * I am training my brain to STOP. By using alarm to trigger me every 2-3 hours. Even now, without the alarms, I will have a thought that says “Have you taken 10 deep breaths yet” Let’s do it. It’s a great tool to step back and be aware in the midst of a work day. * Deep breathing elevates your state, oxygenate your blood, your posture improves, it has positive effect on both your mental and physical state.

Brandon Burchard does a similar thing on his phone and he calls it a “Trigger”. I call it the “Reminder” or a snap back to reality. It bring you back to the base line reality that you are a human being, breathing, beating his heart, playing this role of in this society. A great reminder of the underlying truth that we are a living being, and we should be grateful for the ability to acknowledge and be that. So Breath. And know that you are okay.
