Samara Hersch is a theatre maker, director and artist whose practice explores the intersection of contemporary performance and community engagement. Her work explores public acts of intimacy, particularly through imagining new performative frames for non- professional performers and audiences to inhabit. She recently completed her Masters at Das Theatre in Amsterdam.

Nicolas Hausdorf is a German writer and essayist based in Melbourne. In 2015 he wrote Super Structural Berlin, an experimental sociological mapping of Berlin published by zer0 books. He regularly publishes his writing online and is currently undertaking PhD research at University of Melbourne.

Simon Sellars is a writer and editor based in Melbourne, Australia. In 2005 he founded Ballardian, a website tracing the ongoing impacts of the writing of British author JG Ballard. In this talk we unpack some of the cultural timebombs waiting after CV-19, the impossibility to write science fiction in an era of fake news and the flood of doom-scrolling made possible by a nervous system attached to twitter.

Based in New York over the last years Andie Tham had to hit the ejector seat button and return to the big island at the outbreak of CV-19. A firsthand account of the controlled chaos of hotel quarantine, Andie relates her time under biosecurity detention, how to make friends over WhatsApp while detained in a three star hotel room and the psychic reinforcements provided by ASMR videos online.
