Samuel Tanner gives his philosophical take on a diverse range of topics common to everyone. A philosophically dense topic would be about abortion, a middle-of-the-road topic would be "Can we be friends and disagree? Why/Why not?" and humorously a light-hearted and not-so-dense philosophical topic would be "Having kitchen cabinet doors is irrational." Samuel Tanner hopes that his show can encourage the world to become more philosophical one topic at a time.

Here's a question: "Would you rather be loved or understood?" It's a question that ordinarily seems unanswerable, since ordinarily one does not come without the other, but the question is tackled anyway! Which one is better!?
When does life begin? Does it have a beginning? When does life matter? What is human life? The topic of abortion is a very philosophically dense one. This episode does not get political but instead delves deep into the philosophical weeds of the concept of human life and value as it pertains to abortion.
Can we disagree on something and still be friends? At what point is the answer, "Yes," or, "No"? Why?
