Addiction grips everyone at some point and in some area of life. Gambling, unhealthy food, alcohol, drugs, too much TV and even work are all vices that lead to addiction. However, if an addiction begins with the word "Sex" we think it is different or even rare. The truth is, it is VERY common but seldom spoken about. I admire my good friend Jeff Bramlett for sitting down with me to speak about his past struggle with this addiction that gripped him unknowingly at 12 years old. After being taken advantage of sexually by his aunt at such a young age, Jeff opens up about that incident in a very transparent way. However, God never gave up on Jeff and neither did his wife! This struggle is more common for today's males than we think and/or talk about. However, this interview will inspire you, enlighten you and encourage you on how it is possible to be truly SET FREE! Bruce Arians has a gift that has not only brought him before the great but his loyalty to people built long lasting relationships that made him one of the great ones this proverb speaks of.
The Head Coach of the Super Bowl LV (55) Champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers was fired 9 times in his career yet he did not quit. Not only did he stay the course, but he kept his relationships along the way and won with many of the people that he fell short with. No greater relationship is stronger and more important to Coach Arians than that of his family. Bruce Arians has kept his family together and strong through the struggles and they have walked together every step of the way.

This is a belief that Teri Rogers and I live by and it has taken us through literal HELL on earth. All of us have faced a situation that was hopeless. Well, in this episode, Teri Rogers and I open up to share ours! In 2008 our son was born with a rare genetic disease called Cystic Fibrosis. It is a fatal disease and there is no cure. If you listened to Teri's episode last week, you will know that she is a fighter and does not quit. Now having a child facing a life threatening disease, see how Teri has battled depression, anxiety and hopelessness. This episode is a MUST HEAR if there ever was one. Like many women, my wife Teri Rogers has the scars of her past that most would be too uncomfortable to talk about. However, after many conversations behind closed doors, my wife FINALLY tells her amazing story.
In this episode, Teri Rogers opens up about her past relationship that was abusive on every level which led her to her addiction of drugs. This is sadly a much too familiar story with many people but never talked about. Since January of 1993, Dean Sikes has been on the road, ministering words of hope in high schools across America and in nations of the world. When you think of the greatest evangelists of all time it is impossible to not hear the name Swaggart mentioned in the discussion. Gabe Swaggart is an associate pastor of Family Worship Center, the home church and headquarters of Jimmy Swaggart Ministries (JSM) - an epicenter of world evangelism established by his grandparents, Evangelist Jimmy and Frances Swaggart, more than 60 years ago.
Pastor Gabe has been in full-time ministry since 2002. His sermons air 24 hours a day and seven days a week to an audience of about 280 million viewers. That being said, when you are in the room with him, he makes you feel like the most important person God ever created. I had the pleasure of being on his show “Generation of the Cross” last week. I was once again reminded how much Gabe loves people, which is what I always admired about him before I knew him personally.
I met Gabe through Instagram about six years ago. I have developed a relationship with him that I am proud to say is a friendship that I do not take lightly. Some of my favorite conversations with Gabe are spent laughing over jokes and bragging to each other about our wives and kids. I treasure our deep conversations of how we have turned failure into success and how, even at our worst, God still has victory at our finish line.

When I started this podcast, one of the first guests I had hoped for was KC Mitchell. I have followed KC for years on his iconic Instagram @That1LegMonster. KC Mitchell is a retired Staff Sergeant in the United States Army Airborne Infantry. As an American powerlifter and former soldier, he is the first amputee to compete for a national powerlifting title. KC was stationed in Ft. Bragg and deployed to Baghdad in 2005. After being overseas 13 months, he would return home to earn his promotion. As KC continued to serve his county, he was sent to Afghanistan in Kandahar province. On April 3, 2010, he was on a mounted night patrol, when the vehicle he was in struck an explosive device. He sustained extensive injuries that required his left leg to be amputated. He has endured over 50 surgeries and spent 3 years in the hospital for recovery. As a result of his injuries, KC opens up about how he suffered with painkiller addiction, alcoholism and depression. Sadly, this is much too relatable to many of us! Listen to hear his powerful story of how a trip to Disneyland for his daughters birthday, ended up being the turning point for his life to LEVEL UP! KC decided to put down the drugs and pick up the weights. Now he is one of the top powerlifters in the world!
