FULL-TIME RECEIVING HELP WANTED AT MIDTOWN COMICS’ WAREHOUSE IN NEW HYDE PARK, LONG ISLAND!
Enter the fabulous world of comics and work for the premiere retailer. In addition to your natural born love of comics, the following are the basic skills required:
- At least 2 years of experience in receiving
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to load, unload trucks and lift heavy boxes
- Comic Knowledge Necessary
- Must Be Detail Oriented
Scheduled hours:
Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
Job Type: Full-time
Our warehouse is very accessible via the Long Island Railroad, just one block from the New Hyde Park station.

FULL TIME HELP WANTED IN MIDTOWN COMIC’S WAREHOUSE IN NEW HYDE PARK, LONG ISLAND!
Who wants to join the mighty Midtown Comics team in New Hyde Park? Enter the fabulous world of comics and work for the premier retailer. In addition to your natural born love of comics, the following are the basic skills required.
- Very good written and verbal communication skills
- Must have filing experience
- Must be detail oriented
- Picking and packing experience
- Advanced comic knowledge a plus
- Be a team player
- Must have the ability to lift boxes up to 50 pounds
- Punctuality is a must
- Must be able to work full time: (8:30 am to 4:30 pm). Weekends included.
- Evening Shift Monday to Friday from 3:00pm to 11:00pm also available.

Job Description
FULL TIME HELP WANTED IN THE EBAY STORE DEPARTMENT AT MIDTOWN COMICS HQ IN NEW HYDE PARK, LONG ISLAND!
The ebay store manager is responsible for maintaining all aspects of an active Premium eBay Store. This includes creating up to 500 auctions each month and controlling a fixed price listing inventory of up to 1000 items.
Responsibilities:
- Lists new auctions every Wednesday, and consistently lists fixed items.
- Provides all content for listings by photographing items and editing them to adhere to eBay regulations.
- Constantly evaluates the inventory for items to list and re-list, as well as adjust prices as necessary.
- Prepares sold items for shipment and in store pickup, this is not limited to eBay and may include other sold items.
- Controls and maintains fixed and auction inventory, regularly assesses inventory, and memorizes where the items are.
- Reserves incentive comic books from the main website inventory to list as auctions on eBay.
- Answers all correspondence regarding eBay store; including, but not limited to, customer inquiries, returns, refunds, complaints, and feedback issues.
- Also responsible for filtering correspondence that comes into the WeBuy email account; these are emails from customers looking to sell comics and collectibles to us.
Skills Required:
- Experience in running a high traffic eBay store.
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- High level customer service skills.
- Heavy knowledge of comics, toys, statues, collectibles, and pop culture.
- Knowledge of current industry trends (upcoming movies/comic book storylines).
- The ability to capitalize on these trends at the proper time with corresponding items.

Job Description
FULL TIME HELP WANTED IN THE GRAPHIC DESIGN DEPARTMENT AT MIDTOWN COMICS WAREHOUSE IN NEW HYDE PARK, LONG ISLAND!
We are seeking a Graphic Designer that can create visual concepts, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate consumers. She/he develops the overall layout and production design for advertisements, newsletters, signs, and corporate reports.
Job Duties:
- Work with Graphic Design team to determine the scope of a project
- Advise team members on strategies to reach a particular audience
- Determine the message the design should portray
- Create images that identify a product or convey a message
- Develop graphics for product illustrations, logos, and websites
- Present the design to the art director
- Incorporate changes recommended by the clients into the final design
- Review designs for errors before printing or publishing them
The candidate must have 1-2 years of Graphic Design experience and ability to work well with others.
Skills:
HTML, CSS, Graphic Design, Adobe CS6, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, InDesign, Illustrator, Photography, Retouching, Acrobat, Image Ready, Mailchimp, PC, Microsoft Office, Power Point presentations, knowledge of designing/printing in 4 color process as well as Pantone spot colors. Custom UI a plus
