RWC Graduate Assistant presents an episode about why people "choke" under pressure. Messing Up When It Matters: Tips & Tricks to Avoid Choking Under Pressure brings examples from the sports world to why we may fail under high stakes in an academic setting such as a test.
In our first episode of the KLS Pod for Fall 2020, Gary Cahen interviews two guests to discuss various aspects of civic engagement. It's election season - so it's important to hear from student leaders as well as alumni on what you can do to amplify your voice on issues that matter in your community. Specifically, the efforts that Student Government is undertaking to encourage voter registration, education and participation as well as the importance of advocacy in the community and the US Census. Gary is joined by Meg Hall, Director of Governmental Affairs for Student Government and Kelly Quintero, Director of Advocacy and Government Relations at Second Harvest Food Bank.
Host Scott Mauro is joined by students from our RWC Marketing Team to discuss how to manage and develop your own personal brand, and the impact that can have on your future success.
In this episode, Coordinator Lisa Molloy and GA Sean Foley are joined by several RWC student Building Managers to discuss how they progressed to this RWC student leadership role. They also share some interesting stories of what the jobs is like and how it has helped them in their development.

On today's episode Andrea Snead and Gary Cahen listen to a 15 minute commencement speech given by former Apple CEO Steve Jobs in 2005 at Stanford University. Jobs tells three stories about his life, and in between each story we discuss how the message might apply to students thinking about their future.
On episode of 3 of the KLS Pod, we are joined by Maureen Hawkins and Pam Mills from UCF Wellness and Health Promotion Services to talk about mental health during the COVID-19 pandemic. We discuss the concept of grief and the anxiety most of us are feeling, coping strategies and how to build resilience, and the many support services available to students during this time.
