Our minds give the future and the past too much space, but there is nothing else than now. We sometimes get so detached from the present moment that it seems like foreign territory, so I thought it would be great if I talk a little something on the same.
A quick brief through all that was covered on this episode :
Letting go of the Past
Allow yourself to feel openly and freely: getting in touch with your feelings
Being mindful
Embracing Gratitude
Now that you have an idea of how you can live presently, it’s about practicing these things regularly.
Thanks for giving this a listen, I would appreciate it if you could take out few minutes of your time and leave me a feedback, you can either dm me on Instagram (@anjalichandathisside) or my mail id - askanajlichanda@gmail.com. Looking forward to your responses, take care :)

I just had the sudden thought to share something that I realised while I was journaling. Sometimes I am really terrible to myself, and I relentlessly compare myself to other people, no matter how many times I read or hear about how good enough or lovable I am. Here is what you should remember, You are enough just as you are. And self-love will be a little bit easier every time you remind yourself of that. Thankyou so much for listening to this short little episode, I hope this brings in a different perspective next time you feel unworthy or undesirable. Instagram - @anjalichandathisside

Just as I was in the middle of an Online class, I found myself wondering why this has always been so hard for me. Why is it often so easy for us to love others but we find this concept of self-love so difficult? Is it because we see the idea of self-love as sort of self-centered and think that loving ourselves is just plain selfish? Or is it easier to love others because we see, for the most part, the best sides of them, whereas we have to see and live with what we may view as the worst parts .
I get it, self-love is hard and I used to think the same things, that self-love was just some trendy idea thrown around. But I couldn't be more wrong, I, now believe it’s so important and that life can be so much more fulfilling when you’re happy with the person that you are. And so I thought what better than record something about, as there could be so many who don't get the term Self-love.
I will be uploading an episode every day for one whole week, where each episode will be for around 60 seconds to keep it short and sweet and each episode will have that one lesson and one step forward to Self-love, Hoping you take that time for yourselves even after having a busy day. Today is the first episode of JOURNEY TO SELF-CARE 101.

Woohoo! Can't believe, we have reached episode 30, In episode 30, I talk about how the past shouldn't be defining your present self as the title suggests. Looking back, there are plenty of things we wish we wouldn’t have done. But it only appears that way in hindsight. I want you to remember that when you chose to do whatever it is you did, you made that decision at that moment. You made the decision with all that you knew back then, and if you knew better, you would’ve done better. But you didn’t know better, and that’s alright.
Move on from people who are always looking for ways to hurt you using your past as their weapon. Because the people who can’t move on from the version of you that you used to be, and make it difficult for you to do the same, are the kind of people you wouldn’t want around while you’re becoming this person. A person who learns to see beyond what has been.

I guess what makes us special is the talent of being us. I personally feel that whatever situation is you know yourself better than others. You know what exact type of person you are, what are your strengths and weaknesses. Most of the times we end up thinking that we aren't enough and we try to be that someone else without realizing how special we are in the only way we are!! Because , 1.Nobody looks like you
Nobody thinks like you.
Nobody loves like you do.
Nobody feels like you.
The biggest takeaway from today's episode is that ,It takes some time to know what makes us special but surely we know about it in our lifetime to accomplish our purpose. Until next time ,byeeeeee!!! -Anjali

Hope is difficult to define. It’s time for an abstract definition. Imagine you’re all alone, lost, in a dark place. You only have one goal ; get home. After a few hours of darkness, creepy noises and endless trees you begin to freak out. You have no idea what to do, and your objective starts to fade away as you start crying and the only thing that helps is HOPE. :)

Since a few weeks there is a thought that has been bothering me and it was if everything really has a reason to happen in life and if so to determine if there should always be a reason for something to happen in life,I felt like we mostly conceal the reality that's left behind by concluding that everything has a reason or for it to teach you a lesson as you move forward in life. I thought that not everything can have a reason.Check this out to know what my opinions are on this specific topic.

Self Growth is an amazing process and what better than talk about it ...,you know what,I'm going to turn 18 this November and i thought to just begin my journey through self growth right away! Let me tell you all, am proud of everything that am able to do right now ,let it be big or small. But also I gave this a thought that it can take a person a second to judge someone knowing nothing about them, which can affect them soo badly within ,but guess what nobody cares.. on how much time it takes for a person to build himself/herself ,In the process of self growth people are always being told that they are not worthy enough and not good enough for the world ,But its such wrong thing to do🙄 ,and so to break this wall ,I have given my opinion and conception on the same ,Listen to this Podcast to hear out something that needs attention, I tried my best to put it out in words and I hope you can reach to my point .Thanks for listening!!
