Being a Drunken Nerd isn’t all about drinking beer, sometimes you need to kick back to recover with or just enjoy a great cup of coffee. This week Grounds and Hounds Coffee Company makes the coffee debut of the podcast.

Alright... They did it. We watched the entire Star Wars Holiday Special for the first time and recorded our live reactions. Both nerds agreed this is the single worst piece of media they’ve ever seen. Come along for the journey and listen to the boys just fall apart as it continues to just kind of happen to them. All this while drinking a mutual friend’s wife’s delicious Puerto Rican Holiday Beverage.
This week the Nerds summarize the final episode of Mandalorian and summarize Season 2 on the whole. After talking about that particular “non-eventful” episode, they move on to their “best of and worst of” awards for the year 2020. All this while drinking Great Lakes Brewing Company’s Christmas Ale. This week we get have a jolly laugh talking about the 1984 movie Gremlins. We crack open Colorado Native’s Winterfest (Vinterfest, if you’re fancy like Carl) and just have a merry ole time.
This week we crack open Beach Haus Brewery’s Winter Rental and read 2 Christmas themed comic books, Iron Man 254 “Ho Ho Homicide” and Batman: Noel. Halfway through the podcast a visitor breaks in and does an entire segment with the guys.
This week we open with a some video game talk before cracking open Rubsam and Horrman Brewing Company’s IPA. This brewing company was recently revived by impractical jokers’ Q. After that, we have a detailed discussion on the new lore introduced in The Mandalorian’s most recent episode; The Jedi. Finally, we revisit the 2003 delightful Christmas romp, Elf.
This week we get back to a happier place and talk about the MCU. 2010’s Iron Man 2, to be specific. Tony Stark is back in the saddle and he goes 2 Fast and 2 Furious for many to keep up. Luckily you have us to guide you along the cinematic adventure. We also discuss Mandalorian Seaosn 2, Episode 4 and have a short discussion on some old school gaming. All this while drinking Silverback Distillery’s BlackBack sour mash corn whiskey.
This week we start out with a civil discussion on The Mandalorian: Season 2, episode 3 “The Heiress”. After that, we do a deep dive in to Star Wars Episode 3: Rise of the Sith. One of our hosts seemingly has a mental breakdown during this discussion, so if you haven’t tuned in in a while, this is probably a good place to jump back in. All this occurs while drinking Mully’s Brewery’s “All the Way Mae” Hazy IPA.
This week we get nostalgic... kinda. We watch the 2019 Netflix reboot specials of Invader Zim and Rockos Morden Life. As promised, we open up with our review of the weeks latest episode of the Disney+ show The Mandalorian (episodes 1 and 2 of season 2).
