Proanthropy III
When humans receive the developmental and life support they require, they are naturally inclined towards being cooperative, caring, and wanting to participate, and contribute. In Naturalistic Humanism this idea is called proanthropy. There is substantial evidence for the proanthropic perspective in multiple disciplines including psychology, neuroscience, and anthropology.
Sadly, despite the evidence, much of our society is premised on the complete opposite. There are many consequences to this misunderstanding including a rationalization for extreme inequality and injustice.

Metawareness III
When our understanding of the world is based on evidence and reason it is obvious that the way each moment unfolds is the inexorable result of all that precedes it. In Naturalistic Humanism this idea is called metawareness.
Applied to humans, the implications of metawareness are revolutionary requiring, among other things, that we reconsider the way we credit, blame, punish, reward, and apportion resources.
Metawareness helps us deal more effectively with everything we encounter supporting equanimity and a sense of serenity.

When we adopt an experimental mindset or participate in experimental activities we are connecting to a significant part of our heritage- the one that everybody shares.
Our universal legacy is the recognition that our perception is easily flawed by bias. It took hundreds of thousands of years, but ultimately humankind became the one species who figured out that by applying a methodology designed to defeat bias we can attain knowledge that frees and empowers us – a breakthrough transcending ethnicity, race, religion, nationalism, and almost every other category by which humans identify.
The result of this shared human legacy has been so potent and influential that it completely transformed our human experience and produced a rapidity of change to which we are barely able to adjust.

Becoming Experimental

WHY ARE BOYS AND YOUNG MEN STRUGGLING – PART 2
Beginning in pre-school and continuing through elementary and secondary school and college, boys struggle to keep up with girls. This trajectory leads to lower graduation rates, higher unemployment, longer habitation with parents, fewer romantic relationships, social isolation, and a higher likelihood of mental health issues including suicide at four times the rate of females.

Our Future w/AI Pt.2
