In this Weeks TechtalkRadio Show Andy talks with Justin about the early computers they had and how far the technology of personal computers has come along. Andy tells us about a repair on the Dell 7779 Inspiron which had him frustrated at all the steps just to replace the keyboard. After the complete overhaul, Andy ran into Bitlocker which was enabled however the owner of the laptop did not have the recovery key. A few changes in the Bios enabled this to be bypassed but it was on pins and needles to get to that point. Shawn is testing drives he purchased with HD Tune Pro which can tell how long a drive has been in use and other useful info. In this week’s show, Justin and Andy kick off the show with a discussion of what has been happening lately with Crypto. Visiting the show is an outspoken member of the popular Facebook group, Crypto Coin Trader, Oniel. Oniel gives us a rundown of what is trending with digital currency and its recent dip in value. It brings about a good time to think about how much we share online of our children and our lives and guidelines parents need to set for other family members in what could be shared.

Justin tells us about his new job and why it's so much fun. His Office overlooks one of the nation’s largest water park, Water World. Justin tells us about how he has integrated Malwarebytes into the system and why he's a proponent of the service, Shawn share how he has paid for the premium version and been very happy with it.

The Experience unfortunately wasn't the greatest after returning one of them then getting another also defective. Lots of Time and fuel spent he decided to give up and stick with the 2 27' monitors for now. Andy does like what he was able to experience in the look and desktop feel and more than likely will give it another shot.

While we might not think our children can be affected by this, the preying on the younger users online takes many forms and is sometimes hidden behind the keyboard. Shawn opens it during the show and Justin and Andy both want to get one. What's Even more amazing is the price. While some consumers are concerned with the Privacy issues of an outdoor camera, the security overrules those concerns.

Andy was looking for a product to feature for the Tech Segment for KMSB Fox 11 and looked at the Stream Deck XL. Justin has been using one and goes over some of the features of the Stream Deck including Folder nesting and easier assigning hot keys for not only streaming but also gaming. Shawn has been using the ATEM Mini from Black Magic Design and how the product has been an answer to many video programs that are used in Houses of Worship. Shawn shares that the Stream Desk could be used to work in hand with the ATEM Mini for ease of use. Andy talks about running into Alicia at Best Buy and how she was handling Marketing and looking for a Solution for recording audio to go with great looking video. There was some confusion with an announcement this week with a product from Valve, The Steam Deck. The product is a Handheld gaming unit, like the Nintendo Switch, with a 7' Screen and many other great features. The Steam Deck can play the game titles in their Steam Library and non-limited as the Nintendo Switch is to only Nintendo titles. Justin gives us the rundown on the Valve Steam Deck. In this Weeks TechtalkRadio Show, Andy Taylor, Justin Shawn DeWeerd and John Broadway, open the show with a talk about Andy's Air Conditioning going out. The guys talk about how technology has become a part of the Air Conditioning systems and controlling it with the Nest Thermostat. Shawn talks about the upcoming Wyze Thermostat. For this Weeks TechtalkRadio Show, It's All about Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020! Officially released just before recording, Justin and Shawn share some highlight from the Newest version of the popular flight simulator. Andy tells a story about his moms’ boss that had the flight simulator version in DOS and it had special key in case you got caught flying at work which would escape into a Spreadsheet. The guys wonder if this will give users the bug about taking it to the next step and getting into flight training. Shawn wants to get the setup to use Virtual Reality for flying. Broadway tells us about learning to operate a Tank using Virtual Reality. Justin talks about VAT Sim and how he is looking forward to checking it out.
Amanda gets herself a new Amplify Mesh System, Broadway has one and talks about the extended coverage and throughput of this router. Broadway talks about how easy it is to set up and use and the many features of the Amplify. Shawn shares with us his new Wyze Outdoor Security Camera which was only $45. Andy fixes a laptop that was diagnosed as a dead logic board by another repair shop and the owner was told it needed to be replaced. She chose not to and gave it to Andy who took it and found it was a battery on the board and defective hard drive. He talks about the troubleshooting to bring the system back to life. Windows pushes through some major updates which causes problems for those using systems for Work and the updates not allowing it.
