This podcast includes information about the The Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP). CHIP provides health coverage to eligible children, through both Medicaid and separate CHIP programs. CHIP is administered by states, according to federal requirements. The program is funded jointly by states and the federal government. Nationwide, CHIP covers currently now about 9 million kids from lower- to middle-income families who are otherwise ineligible for Medicaid.
Congress allowed CHIP funding to expire Sept. 30 of 2017. The House passed a bill in early November 2017 that funds the program for five years, but the Senate has not voted on CHIP leaving millions of families panicked during the holiday season.

Roy Moore the republican senate hopeful attended a Veterans Day event this morning and was greeted by a large number of protesters chanting things like “Pedophiles in jail, not the Senate” as he entered the event.
This is his first public appearance since the accusations he sexually abused a 14 year old girl 40 years ago. He continues to deny the allegations saying that the teens accusations “never happened”.
He also stated in an interview with Sean Hannity quote he "Generally" Didn't Date Girls In Late Teens but he also stated in the interview that “I don't remember ever dating any girl without the permission of her mother” I do not know too many young adult ladies that would need the permission of their “mother” to date someone unless that young lady was considered under aged in some way.
This is an excerpt of the speech Moore made this morning at the Veterans Event.
Stop with the participation trophies already. "45" has been in office nine months and are we still expected to "give him time"? It looks like a very small contingent of elected officials in Washington are speaking out against "45" and his untruths/lies.

Just this past Sunday October 1st , a day after Secretary Tillerson said the US had direct lines of communication to North Korea and was “probing” to find ways to calm the escalating tension between the two countries, Trump tweeted this:
I told Rex Tillerson, our wonderful Secretary of State, that he is wasting his time trying to negotiate with Little Rocket Man Save your energy Rex, we'll do what has to be done!
Secretary Tillerson held a small press gathering today to dispel the reports that he had thoughts about resigning, but he did not dispute the reports that he was overheard calling Trump a moron.

CNN is reporting that he insisted on adding the information at the beginning of the speech about the economy, jobs and the stock market numbers before he addressed the KKK, Neo-Nazis and White Supremacists as “Repugnant” three days after the initial events occurred.
Is it too little to late? Do the hate groups feel he was forced to denounce them?
Trump talks about the Charlottesville VA protest violence during his remarks before the signing of the VA Choice and Quality Employment Act. Trump spoke for approximately 10 mins but only used about 4 mins to address the violence at the protests in Charlottesville.
He did not have any words of direct condemnation for the Alt Right and did not mention domestic terrorism at all. A reporter shouted a question about white nationalism as Trump attempted to leave the room as soon as possible, after his remarks, and he was reminded that he still had stay in the room to sign the bill.
It has been reported that one person has died during the violence. Were Trumps statements enough to address the problems in Charlottesville?
