We are back! It has been a while - so we catch up on what has happened over break.

Fantasy Baseball Week 1
It was Opening Day eve and all through the podcast, an AL Preview was stirring with Jeff picking a surprise AL champion. Then Tim and Jeff recap the Final Four and Kansas as the champion.

After a week off, we have our 50th episode and our one year pod-a-versary(? is that a thing?) so Tim and Jeff look back at the year that was, 2021 and our favorite sports moments and what stuck out in another crazy pandemic year.
Then on to the College Football Playoff, which is all set with Alabama, Michigan, Georgia and Cincinatti. Who's actually good? We will see it sorted out on the field on New Year's Eve.
The NFL has a cloud hanging over it right now with a ton of COVID cases, so we will see if it has a huge effect on these next 4 weeks in the NFL.
What's the deal with Urban Meyer? How did he go from being a legend of a coach in college to having big problems with all of his players in the NFL? What happened to that supposed leadership?

College Football Playoff teams are getting clearer with Oregon losing to Utah and Cincinnati getting the 4th and final playoff spot. Ohio St plays "The Team Up North" this week in a defacto play-in game. Notre Dame is still lurking.
Tim and Jeff discuss the wild upsets in Week 11 of the NFL with the Bills getting steamrolled by Jonathan Taylor and the Colts and the Titans throwing up a stinker against the Texans. What does that mean for the rest of the AFC? Who wants to get the 1 seed there?
On to the NFC, where Green Bay is facing off against the (760 million dollars poorer) Rams team for NFC supremacy.
Oh yea, and it is finally MLB awards season and the Cardinals make a (great) signing in Steven Matz.
Tim and Jeff celebrate the US Men's National Team beating Mexico in World Cup Qualifying but are disapointed by their tie with Jamaica. US still sits in a good position just over halfway done with qualifying for the World Cup. Long way to go still though.
Then the guys take a step back and take a look at the big picture to see who is the NFL's best team and who is the best bet to win the Super Bowl (might not be the same team) and who is the NFL MVP? Which team on the outside looking in could make the most noise?
College Football Playoff gets a little shakeup with Oklahoma losing, but the top 4 stay the same... Jeff is still waiting for the chaos.
And a few MLB free agents signed ahead of the CBA expiration. Are we really doing this CBA negotiation thing again?
It's Jeff's Birthday week, so Tim flipped the script and took over the hosting duties this week and what a week it was. The Braves won the World Series and the guys discuss how they did it. College Football's latest rankings are out and it is getting into the tough part of the season, so Tim and Jeff discuss how it is going to shake out. And the soap opera of the NFL never stops with Aaron Rodgers stealing headlines this week for all the wrong (very wrong!) reasons and Odell Beckham Jr. getting himself cut. The onfield games didn't dissapoint either (unless you were in 50% of the survivor entries) with huge upsets and wild games. Stay to the end for the picks and NBA nuggets!
Tim and Jeff dive right into the NFL with Mike White (sorry Mike for getting your name wrong the first time) and the Jets upsetting the Bengals and throwing out many Survivor entries. Then Cooper Rush filing in for Dak Prescott and guiding the Cowboys past the lackluster Vikings and Trevor Siemian getting the Saints past the Bucs.
Then on to Week 9 and the guys preview the biggest games of the week and then put in their picks and where they are thinking with survivor, since KC somehow survived the Giants on MNF.
Official podcast of the Atlanta Braves rolls on as the World Series is at 6 games with Game 6 on as this is being recorded. Go Braves!
The first college football playoff ranking of the year is out and Tim and Jeff discuss what it looks like now and how it could change between now and the end of the season.
The Cardinals took less than a week to find their (young!) manager, Oliver Marmol, who is younger than both hosts of this podcast, Tim and Jeff. They break down the new hire and what it means for the future of the Cardinals.
But this is the official Atlanta Braves podcast and they are starting the World Series tonight against the Houston Astros and Tim and Jeff preview it and who they are rooting for and why it is the Braves.
They take a look at the Bengals and Titans and wonder if they are for real to challenge for the AFC title and then what has happened to the Chiefs. As for the picks, Tim and Jeff both went 2-1 on their picks this week as they are rounding into form as the NFL season wears on. They recap last week and talk their suvivor strategy going forward.
It is October (king of the months!) and there are so many sports to talk about.
The Cardinals fire Mike Shildt seemingly out of the blue and Tim and Jeff try to disect that move and what happens next.
The MLB playoffs are at the LCS stage as the Dodgers knocked off the Giants in dramatic (and controversial?) fashion.
Ben Simmons and the Sixers have their own soap opera at this point and Jeff and Tim cover the latest craziness around Simmons and also Kyrie Irving who is currently not a part of the Nets team.
Oh yea, and number 2 Iowa was upset, putting the Cincinati Bearcats in the drivers seat for a spot in the college football playoffs.
Oh yea, and the NFL is still going on - big bye week gauntlet and survivor and spread picks as usual.
Tim and Jeff start off the pod this week talking about the obscure ruling in the Rays-Sox game and how it happened and what to do about it (if anything!). Then they recap the rest of the MLB playoffs and look ahead to the ALCS and the rest of the NLDSes.
Then, they discuss the Jon Gruden disaster and his offensive emails that caused his resignation from the Raiders and what the fallout will be from this data that came from the Washington Football Team.
Now finally to the football ON the football field and Tim didn't lose any of his picks last week and the Patriots survived for both survivors. Then they look ahead at next week's survivor and picks.
There is a chill in the air and MLB playoffs are here! The Sox and Yanks are playing as Tim and Jeff record this and then their Cardinals are facing the Dodgers in one game playoffs with massive implications for all the historic teams involved.
Then Tim and Jeff recap the weirdness of Week 4 in the NFL and what happened in the Pats-Bucs game in the rain (and why it didn't go as expected). The rookie quarterbacks are finally starting to show some life and the Jets and the Giants get in the win column to knock out a bunch of survivor entries.
Then onwards and upwards to week 5 and Tim and Jeff give their picks and they are in agreement again on the survivor entry for the week.
The St. Louis Cardinals still haven't lost - they have now won 16 games in a row and are on the verge of clinching the 2nd wild card spot after being way out of the race just a month or so ago. Tim and Jeff talk about the Cardinals and what makes a fun team - is it winning or is it the culture? Then on to another recap of Tim and Jeff's against the spread picks - I hope someone out there was fading us - because they are likely rich now. And on to week 4 - Tim and Jeff preview the biggest games of the week, give their picks for the week - gotta win just by accident somehow - and survivor pool strategy.
Tim and Jeff start out the podcast talking about the red hot St. Louis Cardinals who put the Padres and the Reds in the trash on the way to a 10 game winning streak and a 4 game lead in the 2nd wild card in the NL. Baseball is fun!
Then on to Jeff's distastrous picks (0-6 to start the year) and Tim's not so disastrous and what happened in week 2 of the NFL.
