We explore the relationship between International arts and the class struggle. Interviews, Commentary and audio art. We are Outa-space because artists often lack the place to make and create work. We are Outa-space because the street, the squares, online and all the common places we mix in are where we need to decide our future. We are Outa-space because we need to take our minds above the clouds to look down on our planet, to dream, to wonder, but also to see everything in the context of everything else.
What does music say, from the 1950´s until today how can we connect popular music to the class struggle – and why is this important? Outa-space talks music journalist Toby Manning about his new book which draws upon a Marxist perspective to tackle the question. Also, up in the space station we have new guest Tracy Edwards trade union activist and music lover adding her insight.

I talk about Art(of course), the need to fight the far right today, whats wrong with the left and some personal crises and I start to ask a question about my own humanity type and why I think we all need to listen to oursleves and tell the truth as best we can
