Do you know what the New Covenant is? So many through human pride and religiosity never move beyond the Old Covenant. They are desperately trying to please God and to measure up through performance, and so they never enter into the rest that Jesus gives so freely by Grace.
Will the Lord Forgive the Christian who has sinned again? What do you think? Will He forgive this repeated, habitual sin? Let's look at the Word of God in context!
Pilate asked Jesus, "What is the Truth?" The question should have been, "Who is the Truth?" Waht does the Holy Spirit mean by "the love of the Truth"? What is the result of loving or rejecting this Truth?
This message comes from Acts Chapter 27--The Great Storm on the Mediterranean Sea! If there is one thing that the witnesses learned through Paul's life, it was relinquishing all control to the real God--Jesus Christ! Are we willing to remove the steering wheel if our lives and yet still move forward at full speed by the Holy Spirit?

Romans 8:28 is quoted by Christians probably daily. Do we understand the depths of this verse? Do we knw its twin scripure, 2 Corinthians 4:15? Why did God say this at least twice? Two is the number of witness and He is bearing witness to this eternal truth. Now, let's explore the depths of this Truth!
How do we handle the insults, the disrespect, the despiteful using, the persecution? How did Jesus handle it? What is the Cross all about? What does Jesus desire in us? Isn't it all about Forgiveness and Love which results in Unity? John 17 is the real Lord's Prayer that shows His heart.
Many Christians are frustrated as they try with no little zeal to perfect themselves. They mentally keep a checklist of good things that they should do, and bad things that they should not do. They are continually striving, failing, feeling guilty, despairing, depressed, etc. Is this what God intended? Or are we simply at the wrong tree?
Freedom (Liberty) is not Free. Hundreds of thousands have shed their blood fighting for our country.
But God shed His blood to save us to Really Set Us Free! Let's explore the Scriptures!

Once you know Jesus (or are known of Him), you will finally have love, joy, peace! There is no other place you'd rather be than in His arms of love!
Psalms 118:24 says, "This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it." Which day? It's not what you think. Why rejoice? May the Word of God speak to us.
Impossible to please God? You might reply, "But look at all my good works!" No! They do not please God. What is Faith? And how do you get it? Let's settle this by the Word of God.
Jesus' Prayer (John 17) was that we will be where He is and behold His glory which He had with the Father before the Creation of the world. But what is Glory? Who can see it? How can we behold His glory?
Forgiveness is in the Cross (the Blood of Jesus shed there), but Life and Power are in the Resurrection.

Sometimes I think we do not realize WHO we Are in Christ Jesus. And from all indications, many times we do not realize the magnitude of WHO Jesus is. OFFENDED! Offenses happen every day! How does the Christian--the child of God--handle them? The same as the world handles them? Or is there a higher road by the Spirit of God?
How do you handle this kind of insulting behavior? How did King David, Paul, the Saints, and ultimately Jesus react? Let's look at the Scriptures together.
Most people live in fear of death. What causes fear of death? What is death for a saint? And who are the saints exactly? Does God really care what we face in the death of a loved one? Let's answer these questions by His Word.

It seems more and more preachers and teachers are turning to works and performance and denying the Faith that was once delivered to the saints. They are pitting Faith against Obedience, thus negating the work of Jesus Christ and entering into Galatianism, which the Apostle Paul so vehemently warned against. Well, what is it then? Are we SAVED solely by what Jesus accomplished, or must we add to the "FINISHED" work of Jesus Christ and to his GRACE? Let us look at God's Word!
I think we all know that when Jesus died on the Cross He bowed His head and declared, "It Is Finished!" But exactly what was finished? It seems that the work Jesus accomplished on our behalf totally alludes so many believers. Let's get this into our hearts once for all.

They are still focused entirely on sin and getting each sin forgiven, even though ALL sins were taken away. They should be focused on Jesus and the NEW LIFE He has given.

People search and strive for many things in this life, but none can satisfy. Man was created in the image of God, and after Adam fell, people do not have the Spirit of God inside until they receive Jesus. There is a God-shaped vacuum that can be filled by Jesus Christ only.

Patience and Gentleness are fruits of the Spirit. Often they show forth in our lives when things are going well, but what about when life is full of stress, troubles, pain, and suffering? In these times it becomes evident that the fruits of the Spirit come only from Jesus Christ within. We must abide in Him daily and draw on His strength alone.
Romans 1:1 brings out three very important points about the Apostle Paul. Each pertains directly to us as Christians. Each also is crucial for fathers.
The Bible is clear from Beginning to Ending about how a sinful human can be justified! The trouble is, human pride does not want to believe nor receive God's simple plan. God's plan removes all human effort and works from the equation. There can be no boasting! Will you receive this FREE GIFT from God? If not, BEWARE and wonder and PERISH, says the Lord, for He does a work through His Son in our day that some will not believe though it is declared to them.
There is so much talk about the devil, about how busy he is, about how powerful and sly he is. Why isn't the Church talking only about Jesus, about how He has FINISHED the work, about His OMNIPOTENCE, about His Wisdom and Omniscience! And ALL Power and Authority has been given to Jesus, and He has given power and authority to the Church in His name! The Gates of Hell will not prevail against the Church, Jesus said. So when do we say, "No more" to the devil? When do we use the authority of the name of Jesus against this defeated enemy?
In Mark 16 we are told that those who believe will speak with new tongues. Let's look at what a new tongue should really be as Jesus Christ saves us by His grace and indwells us by His Spirit.
Many offenses and obstacles present themselves to us almost daily. Do we become angry and upset, or do we see that everything that touches our lives had to pass God first, and everyting--EVERYTHING--is for our good. God wants the best for us and uses circumstances to block our ways or to alter our paths to be in line with His. These are opportunities for us to reflect the Grace of God to others.
Conspicuously missing from so many Christian Bible Studies, conversations, and overall theology is the Finished Work of Jesus Christ. Long discourses about behavior (erroneously termed "holiness"), obedience, and human striving, accompanied by God's anger and disappointment, His judgment, and blotting out our names (loss of salvation), are prevalent. These Christians are perpetually striving under guilt, failure, and hopelessness, and begging for forgiveness, or else they are declaring their own righteousness (which is filthy rags in God's sight). The book of Hebrews unequivocally shows that our sins are forgiven, Christ's righteousness is now ours, and we are eternally saved.
Do we have any idea or understanding at all of the Great and Terrible Price that God paid to redeem us by His own Blood! His blood is not just the blood of another human murder victim! His Blood is the blood of God our Savior! The ultimate price in the universe from eternity past to eternity future has been paid for YOU! That's how valuable God considers you!
Do you feel alone and disheartened? Are you overwhelmed with grief or worry? The Lord FEELS your pain! He is with you and loving you in your deepest pit of griep, sorrow, guilt, shame, or despair!
Philippians 4:19 says that God shall supply ALL your needs, not according to your paycheck, but according to HIS RICHES in Glory by Christ Jesus.
How did Moses endure such incredible hardships, sufferings, and responsibilities? By "seeing" Him who is invisible. We took must look unto Jesus! The natural eye cannot see Him, but the Lord opens the eyes of our heart and soul to see and to know Him clearly.
The devil is attacking Christians in so many ways because his time is short. But the Lord is for us, and no one can stand against us.
We have heard of the trial and affliction of Job. He lost his children and all that he owned. He was smitten with sore boils from his head to his feet. But what was the real pain and heartache that Job suffered? When did his suffering end? See how God delivered when he forgave and restored his enemies.
