This podcast is about what I see as a lay Catholic theologian, husband, and father. It will primarily focus on the lectionary and the readings of the day. I am planning for multiple posts a week. Perhaps it will be interactive once I have more experience with this project.
About the readings from Thursday of the 15th week in Ordinary Time (July 16). Taking up the new nature of humanity wrought by Christ according to the plan of the mystery. Learning about God's offer to escape the futility of fallen human nature.

This is the inaugural episode of the What Do You See? (Quid Tu Vides?) Podcast. This is a reference to Jeremiah 1:11, where God asks the prophet "What do you see?" And it was simply the branch of an almond tree. In the original Hebrew, the words for almond branch would have sounded much like the word "watcher" which God takes to explain that He is watching His people. I go on to discuss the readings of the day and a possible takeaway from the readings as relevant to today's circumstances. It is simply answering the question of what I see, and sharing it with you.
