Richie Q has been part of the North Wales techno scene for many years.
Playing filthy techno and acid, he is a resident on Techno FM with his 3 hour, 4th Friday of the month, untitled_techno, and his 2 hour midweek harder styles show, forward_thinking.
He is also resident with cumbrian free party collective's sound system, The Volume Junkies.
Having featured on Hard Force United, DeF CrOnic Acid Series, Pounding Tekkno as well as various Psychotropic Beats Collective shows.
He has played for the Hyper Freq Soundsystem, Impactic Soundsystem, Psyborg Soundsystem and for North wAliens Soundsystem - part of the North Wales free party scene.
Richie Q's style is fast and furious, tight in the mix and definitely worth checking out.
Richie Q.Next week is the first Feral Full Moon party of 2026 and I’ve had the honour of being invited to play.My guest this month I met only last year, his set at whatever o’clock it was in the morning had myself and the dance door completely locked in. After meeting up after his set at Archetype last month, it turns out that we met him back at Hydraulix in October at Fold… small world eh!
James Kinetec;
This techno FM resident is co-host of long running Friday night TFM staple; Live From Hackney.
Known for his unrelenting, uncompromising sound, James has been filling dance floors for nearly 2 decades.
I’ve known James for a fair few years, and it’s great to have him be part of our birthday!
Mot3k;
Hailing from Perth, Australia, Mot3k’s productions have been on our radar for a number of years.
Influenced by the sounds coming out of Europe, their sets span a broad range of techno, usually culminating in harder driving beats.
With releases on established labels such as Electrax and Dolma Red, to Naughty Pills Recs, all I can say is this producer set is going to be special!

My guest this week is Matt Acidic;
After attending a free party in the mid 90’s, a young Matt Acidic knew where he wanted to be. Inspired by the London acid techno scene, he got himself some turntables and hence began his journey.
In the 28 years since that fateful night, Matt has played at many events all over the country, including playing the Arcadia Afterburner at Glade Festival in 2009.
Matt has started his own night, Acidic, now in to its 20th year. He started and runs his own label, Rave Yard Records, after working with Boomtown developing and curating for the Rave Yard stage, which has doubled in size since its inception.

It feel like I’ve known about Tassid for about as long as I’ve known about acid techno.
This man is a prolific producer of squat and acid techno grooves, with releases spanning over a decade on many labels such as Impact UK, Cluster and Stay Up Forever to name but a few.
He is one third co-conspirator to System Rejects, and the main protagonist behind his own imprint SKUXX.
Tassid collaborated with D.A.V.E. the Drummer on System Rejects #02 to produce in my opinion one of the best, most sought after acid techno tracks of all time, Sexual Advance.

This month we have a bit of a special. With Archtype One @ WaV in Liverpool quickly approaching, we’re positively bubbling with excitement here at UT.
With WaV quickly gaining a reputation, in a city steeped with musical heritage, as the place for underground techno, it’s rivalled only by its powerhouse line up of some of the finest DJ’s & producers we have on these shores.
We thought it would be a good idea to invite the minds behind Archetye, residents Dowdzwell and KwirK on to the show. Both prolific producers of hard, pounding techno, to say we’re looking forward to seeing them play is an understatement!
Dowdzwell has been releasing quality hard techno for a number of years now. With releases on Refined Format, Blue Monkey, and most recently a superb contribution to a VA vinyl release on the legendary Hydraulx imprint.
KwirK has been relentlessly unleashing his hard techno sound at venues across the North West for a while now. After his set at NST, we’re looking forward to hearing him hammering away at the tunnels of WaV.
Joined by D.A.V.E. the Drummer, the machine that is Skirra, and Collide boss Michaela, Archetype One is not a night you want to miss!

My guest this week is South Coast vinylist Zeno;
To say Zeno has been in to music from a young age would be an understatement. His keen ear developed as he studied classical music through his high school years, eventually qualifying as an accomplished grade 8 pianist.
In the early 90’s Zeno had his first taste of dance music. During a night out with friends, his discovering of North Wales DJ & producer Sasha, also a grade 8 pianist, was all the inspiration he needed to begin his own journey.
Zeno went on to spin vinyl at legendary venues such as Lakota and the Depot, before taking a long break from the scene.
He’s now back and loving his DJing again! Catch this Infinite resident at their next party, Carpe-Noctem at Swansea’s infamous Hanger 18 on 25th March…

My guest this week is DJ & producer Kari;
Kari’s musical journey began back in the 90’s when he discovered Finland’s underground party scene.
Following his new found passion, it wasn’t long before he started putting on his own events and spinning our beloved acid techno.
During a brief stay in Japan Kari found the underground dance scene, and before long he was spinning acid techno in the disused warehouses of downtown Tokyo.
Upon his return to his native Finland, he found himself in possession of a TB-303 and a bag of distortion peddles and the rest is history!
With a release already on Colombian label Skorpios, and forthcoming releases on Triple A (Acid Artists in Action (SUF)) be sure to keep an eye, and an ear, out for this man!

Opening the show is our resident Betty Bloop.
Our first guest is DJ, producer, promoter and label boss of South Wales based Modular Trax, K-Netic.
I first met this man at Hanger 19 in Swansea, after he’d finished his set at techno club night The Resistance.
K-Netic played tracks not familiar to me, but the South Wales technoheads soaked it up and loved every minute.
During the evening I found out that all his tracks were in fact his own, and it was around this time I knew I’d have to invite him to play for you all.
I’d found Modular Trax on Bandcamp a year or so ago whilst looking for tracks by my second guest (more on that later), so if you haven’t found it yet be sure to check it out!
My second guest this month, and back with a more refined European sound, is Robi S.U.S.S.!
I remember when I first met Robi, we talked a lot about techno (obvs) but more specifically what he was up to and what drives him here and now.
He told me he’s been working on a sound that I know will go down a storm with the listeners of untitled_techno, and after playing one of my favourite sets of the year a few weeks back on forward_thinking, it’s a pleasure to have Robi back on.

My guest this week is DJ, producer and promotor Paul Elemental.
Paul got his first taste of techno on the London squat party scene during the mid to late 1990’s. Gripped by the energy and passion of the scene, it wasn’t long until he traded the dance floor for the DJ booth, playing at parties by StinkyPink, Every1Sound & Manik, to name but a few.
Turning his hand to promoting, he established, and for 5 years ran the Elemental club night, with great success, at Brixton’s world famous music venue Club 414, until its closure in 2019. He is currently resident noise bringer at Collide, in Birmingham, UK.
Paul has released on Getafix Records, Project 303, and most recently on OB1's no nonsense techno label; Hardcoded, under the alias Bomb Squad.
To say this man is a veteran of the scene would be an understatement! Its a pleasure to bring to you Paul Elemental…

With 5 Wednesdays this month we’re treated to an extra show, so with great pleasure we bring you EyeZak.
EyeZak was introduced to the traveller culture at a young age, and was raised within the ever evolving UK free party scene.
Fascinated by the sounds heard pounding out of rigs, and having a keen ear and a growing love for free party culture, at 15 EyeZak taught himself the black art of mixing.
Soaking in Bristols vibrant night culture and Devon’s free party scene, and seeing artists such as D.A.V.E. the Drummer and Rowland the Bastard playing to packed dance floors, was all the inspiration EyeZak needed. He developed his skills in the forests and beaches of the south coast, he went on to play at Exeter’s renowned music venues Phoenix Club and Cavern Club.
Last year, with most of the planet under some form of lockdown restrictions, ravers the world over were soaking up livestreams. Which is when I first saw EyeZak play a vinyl set at D.A.V.E. the Drummer’s birthday stream from Fold (London).
With a Hydraulix night looming in October (we have our tickets), and EyeZak firmly on the line up, I felt there was no better time to invite this new skool vinylist to grace the techno FM airwaves with his free party groove.
Our kitchen went off during last years Hydraulix/ Fold livestream, and i cant wait to hear this man play on a big rig. So to whet your appetite for the upcoming party, we bring you EyeZak…

This week our guest is old skool vinylist and Swiss techno veteran, DJ Smay.
Growing up in Switzerland, Smay had his first taste of techno back in the early 2000’s, and was experimenting with his own music soon after.
It wasn’t until 2016 that Smay discovered acid techno, and a new passion was born for this already established vinylist.
His love for this sound saw him launch Switzerlands most prolific acid techno event ‘Acid Splash’, hosting the biggest names from the scene, including fellow North Walien and back 2 back protagonist from a few weeks back, Sted Hellvis.
Following a flawless 2 hour livestream on Caustic, with a diverse selection in acid and squat techno, its a pleasure to bring to you DJ Smay.

Hailing from Valencia, our guest this week is Seon.
Seon first fell in love with techno at the tender age of 16, and so began his journey soon afterwards when he got his own turntables.
Upon quickly mastering his art, and wanting to realise his full potential, a young Seon started to write his own music.
12 years later, and still only 28 years old, Seon has achieved great things within the hard & acid techno scene.
He’s toured Europe gracing the turntables and filling dance floors with his hard squat sound, had releases on Stay Up Forever, Cluster, and Maximum Minimum, and been supported by the industries finest DJ’s/ producers.
And finally, he and his friend Punto founded 24/7 Records run out of Valencia, Spain.

My guest this week is Forest of Dean free party legend, DJ Parker.
A young Parker was introduced to free parties and rave culture in the early 90’s, and found himself hooked!
By 1996, and still just starting college, Parker had taught himself the art of mixing, met other likeminded souls, and Bristol night Best Kept Secret was born.
By 2000 Parker had cemented himself as UK free party favourite, playing forests and squats all over the country! But that was just the beginning of his adventure.
Packing his records, headphones, 3 T-shirt’s 2 pairs of shorts and his slippers, he headed to Venezuela, where he continued to hammer free parties in and around Caracas with his hard acid sound.
Representing FOD, and playing a proper old skool vinyl set, we bring you DJ Parker...

Hailing from southern France, Krismix first started playing free parties back in 2004, and has been rocking bars and clubs ever since.
After turning his hand to producing his own music, Kris won a remix competition with his mate Koss and since then has had many releases over many labels.
In 2019 he and Koss launched Cerber Records, and followed that with his own label Under No King.

Back for his second appearance for Untitled, Arondeus is co-promotor of Chester’s LGBTQ friendly techno event Nexus. The fellow techno FM resident had a busy 2019, with gigs coming in from all over the UK and beyond.
With Nexus also growing, and all but one event in 2019 selling out in advance, 2020 saw them switch to a larger venue to accommodate the North West’s hunger for a quality night out.

By 1998, Chenas & Dr Cooney (RIP) were hosting hard hitting night Rawkus, fuelling Melbourne’s acid techno party scene.

First up we'd like to introduce Bamal;
Making a name for himself on the North Wales party scene is Bamal. After first picking up the headphones at age 11, this young talent has been a firm member of the Freedom To Party crew (North Wales) ever since.
With a wealth of experience and talent to call upon, FTP provided Bamal with an environment where he could learn his trade. He is now resident at all FTP parties.
After playing his debut set at wAliens' event Groove Criminals this summer, this young dj is going to be a regular on the party scene for years to come.
Next up is our resident Betty Bloop;
Over the past months, Betty has cemented her place as resident for Untitled (techno). You can be sure she'll bring her 'A' game, playing a set of hard hitting Industrial techno.
Rounding off the show is Griff;
Due to unforeseen circumstances we were unable to host Griff for the July show, but he has been kind enough to agree to come back and play for us in August.
Griff has been a part of the North Wales techno scene for many years. He first discovered techno back in his late teens, and it wasn't long until he started his own night, High Voltage, feeding the North Wales acid techno scene.
Since then, he has played at parties all over the North West and North Wales, and gone on to produce his own music releasing on Maximum/Minimum.
His latest venture, Chaos Theory is on 21st September at the Late Lounge in Rhyl, and will host MiSiNKi and Carl Shorts, alongside some of North Wales finest DJ's.

This one time student of Lisa Lashes DJ School has been making waves in the techno scene for quite a while.
Hosting 2 internet radio shows; Draw the Line and A Darker Wave, this lady is a champion for female DJ's. She has gone on to produce her own music and have released on German label Get Physical, as well as multiple remixes for prominent artists on other labels.
Her latest is a remix of HUMAN ROBOT by The SloaneRanger, released on 12th July.
We look forward to seeing her DJ at Chester's premiere techno event, Nexus, at G21 (The Saddle) on 9th August.
