The body is a bad B! Forming habits for sanity, regularity-- for making sense of life. Sleep! Sleep is important. Having a dedicated bedtime just gives us so much peace. Whodathunkit.
When is it easiest to be honest? Is it possible to make more moments more honest-able? Does honesty develop vulnerability? How do you gauge your honesty? In the moments that there is a lump in your throat and you literally cannot speak-- what do you do? You don't have to remain invisible so that other people can be comfortable.

When we give permission to ourselves and others to not be okay, it’s a practice of intimacy!
The reality is that sometimes we’re not okay.
Honesty can be encompassing of the full spectrum of experience, of feeling, of life as is.
“I need help” whether it is from someone else or from a part of myself that IS capable of accepting and processing this hurt.
Right now is one thing and what’s on the other side of this—let me pass through this veil and let it pass through me.

In which I open Webster's and find the concrete definitions for "condemn" and "compassion." I tricked myself! So where do we go from here?

What is sympathy, empathy, and compathy? Can we evolve our tendency to condemn into a tendency to offer compassion? And what does that even mean?
Let's evolve this thing together. Practice the Grief & Depression composting sequence here ~~> patreon.com/higheralliance
Yes, we can experience more than one big feeling at a time. In this episode, I discuss my own contradictory feelings around pregnancy, the layers of healing we do for ourselves and with each other, going "back" to those dark moments to compost all parts of ourselves to become more whole.
Yoga is what I consider to be a safe way to explore these layers of myself. I share the methods here --> https://patreon.com/higheralliance
In which we reflect upon the pitfalls of judgement and condemnation and the beginnings of choosing compassion.
As I begin the yoga practice of composting GRIEF, I notice the tendency of condemnation and how it isolates me from others. It's an uncomfortable thing to notice about myself and it comes up in insidious ways that I usually just squish out and shame myself for. Which is just another useless habit. This is the beginning of a great evolution and I truly hope you continue the conversation with me! Let's grow together <3

Here's the trailer, y'all!
In this episode I talk about what inspires me to publish on this platform and what you can expect-- my own experience in being completely suffocated by depression and anxiety, and then recognizing it, and then grappling with it, until finally walking beside it in my day-to-day life now. I will be sharing all of the tools that I have used to save my own self and how I create a life that does not revolve around the big ol' D&A. At some point I had to hit the 'unsubscribe' button from overwhelmingly horrible feelings and I have a daily (moment-ly?) practice of re-hitting that unsubscribe button. We hold the keys to the prison that we lock ourselves in. Let's do this.
Thank you for listening to my cruzin’ and muzin’ recordings and what is to come!
