We lost the great comedian, Robin Williams, Coca-Cola placed 250 popular names across its labels, Jay Leno left “The Tonight Show”, and the Cleveland Cavaliers celebrated LeBron James’ return.
A lot has changed in the past 10 years. In this podcast, we get wrapped up in prior events and veer away from the standard podcast structure to talk amongst each other about recent events. We’ve missed each other’s banter, whether it’s dealing with a pandemic, popular video games to pass the time, or sharing an old story to get laughs.

EGS Productions Podcast #309
Steve visits Ricky in a special recording studio, the shed.
That’s right, an actual shed! We recorded in a small shed but luckily enough, this was no ordinary shed. A/C, electrical power, couches, chairs, and a desk.
It’s been almost a year since Ricky and Steve sat down with each other and recorded a podcast. For this podcast, we caught up on the end of 2022 gaming and movie news plus what we’ve been into since 2023 started.
For podcast #308, Mike and Chris stop by the studio to say hi. Since it’s been a year since we’ve seen each other in person, a LOT has happened.
A little backstory, Podcast #307 was released in October of 2021 and the topic of discussion was Back 4 Blood and Extra-Life. Now that Podcast #308 is here, and it’s being released as new content, it was recorded in October of 2022.
As stated in a previous blog post, this podcast will sound different than others. The next podcast sounds clear and not distorted.
How many listeners are left in existence I wonder? I will soon find out because podcasts #308 and #309 have been recorded and are set to be released!!!!

EGS Productions Podcast #309 will release the 3rd week of May
Typically, podcasts will release on Saturdays, and I plan to stick with that schedule. However, I’m unsure of how often I’ll be able to record, edit, upload, and schedule.
Through the process of converting all files and software to a new computer, the laptop has been laid to rest and bugs are being worked out with the new computer. Bugs you say? It’s a new computer….. how are there bugs? Maybe “bugs” isn’t the best word to use but let me put it this way…. When you’ve been using the same software since 2011, things change over the course of time, especially with technology. It’s changing almost daily! Now I must dedicate time to relearn the same processes but with newer versions, or completely different programs.
That said, podcast #308 will have a different sound than the normal quality. Why? Something happened with how the original audio was recorded and it wasn’t discovered until the final version was exported. Don’t worry, podcast #309 is not like this.
Going forward, this is a new learning curve with using a MUCH newer version of software and I’m looking forward to the process of producing better content.
