For 40 years the Lausanne Movement has been connecting ideas and influencers for global mission. Today, Lausanne Europe believes that it is time for Europeans from across the continent to come together to seek God and address the challenges and opportunities we face in Europe through the Lausanne Europe 2020 Conversation and Gathering - Dynamic Gospel New Europe. This podcast is part of this conversation.
This month’s Conversation includes a short podcast interview with Vimal Vimalasakaran who works with refugees in South West Germany. With the prospect of many more refugees arriving in Europe from Afghanistan in the coming months, we need to reflect on this issue again. In the podcast, we will hear something of Vimal’s story as a refugee from Sri Lanka, and how God is working in the chaos of the refugee crisis to bring about His purposes in Europe. Our principal resource for this month’s Conversation is a podcast with Øivind Augland. Øivind is the founder of M4, a church planting training process which began in Norway but which is now present in 15 European countries. M4 works across denominational and theological boundaries to see new communities of faith formed that will display the goodness of God to the people around them.
