Ephesians 5:1-20 - We all sin. We are going to fall and fail in living the Better life in the real world. God calls us to live in the new life that he has given to us. Put the old life aside and having nothing to do with the things that harm us and others. But as Jesus accepted those with sicknesses and diseases. In fact he says that’s who he came for.
We find forgiveness and healing in Jesus. (Mark 1:40-42 – healing of leper) It all starts once again by putting our life in his hands. Don’t let the thief kill and destroy. There is a better and full eternal life with Jesus.
Matthew 6:19-24, 33
God wants us all debt free with enough to tithe and give offerings above and beyond! That’s for 100% of our faith family!
Well at least that’s our goal at Messiah! God is the owner of all and we are the stewards. Our finances should reflect the amazing selfless grace filled gift of eternal life given to us. Problem is we don’t entrust our finances fully to God. God’s desire is that we intentionally seek his way to manage his money. The floodgates of blessing will come pouring out. (Malachi 3:8-10). Test God! Do it his way and see what happens!
