Praise the Lord Jesus Christ whose mercy endures forever! Nothing like starting your day by praising Jesus. It's like sending your day a warning shot, that you are moving forward in faith, knowing that Christ is King, and that He will be looking out for you.

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we[a] have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we[b] boast in the hope of the glory of God. 3 Not only so, but we[c] also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.(Romans 5:1-5)
25 The woman said, “I know that Messiah” (called Christ) “is coming. When he comes, he will explain everything to us.”
26 Then Jesus declared, “I, the one speaking to you—I am he.”
28 Then, leaving her water jar, the woman went back to the town and said to the people, 29 “Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did. Could this be the Messiah?” 30 They came out of the town and made their way toward him.
39 Many of the Samaritans from that town believed in him because of the woman’s testimony, “He told me everything I ever did.” 40 So when the Samaritans came to him, they urged him to stay with them, and he stayed two days. 41 And because of his words many more became believers. (John 4:25-26,28-30,39-41)
So my brothers and sisters always share your testimony. It is perhaps one of the most powerful ways to evangelize. You do not have to be a Biblical scholar to share Jesus, all you need to do is believe.
Have you been saying the same prayer for the same time and you still waiting for an answer? Are you wondering, "does God even hear my prayers?"
From experience I can tell you that it is difficult to continue praying sometimes. I think all of us have had a prayer or two that we felt would never receive an answer.
However, let me encourage you not to give up praying. Always persevere in prayer, even if it seems like God is not listening. Remember, God is always listening and the Sacred Heart of Jesus loves you more than anyone in this world. So have faith, hold on, wait for the Lord and in the end you will be glad you did.
Lord, I love the house where you live,
the place where your glory dwells. (Psalm 26:8)
I love you Sacred Heart of Jesus. You are my life, you are my all. Please keep me from sinning, allow me to remain in your presence forever.
Trusting the Lord Christ with all your heart and mind is the only way to live. The reality is that by ourselves we can not accomplish anything, but with Christ all things are possible.
So there is not a reason for us to seek out worldly solutions when we have the Sacred Heart of Jesus as the source of our sustenance. So in all things seek the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and the blessings you receive from our Lord will be many.

Did you know that self control is a characteristic of a follower of Christ? Yet, so many of us struggle with self control. What can we do in order to have more self control? You guessed it! Pray, pray, pray.
Set up time during your day to come before the Lord in prayer, but do so in a disciplined way. For example you can do Morning, Afternoon and Evening Prayer with us here, and that will get you started on living a disciplined lifestyle. The more disciplined you are, the more self control you will have. Try it!
Sharing the love of Christ is part of being a Christian. I know, everyone knows this, but sometimes we do not show it. For example, often times, people try to do the work of the Church in a way that is unkind. Yet, the love of God is kind and gentle.
So today as you go out into the world, remember that the Sacred Heart of Jesus is gentle and kind with you, and so you should be the same way with people.

It is the middle of the week. Are you ready to finish off strong? A great way to build up your spiritual muscles to be strong and to have endurance is by constant devout prayer. Not only do you want to have a personal prayer life, but you must join in with your brothers and sisters in prayer on a regular basis.

If you are facing a situation that is keeping you down, you must pray. If you are sick or know someone who is sick, you must pray. If you have a desire to be all that Christ wants you to be, you must pray. Pray, pray, pray!

Sometimes we get stressed over situations because we feel that we will not be able to overcome due to our own inability. However, we should trust in God's ability which more than compensates for our lack of ability.
With Jesus we can move mountains! So let us pray.
Here is Afternoon Prayer
God our Father gave us His only Son, so that we may have eternal life in Him. Christ surrendered himself to die on the cross for our sake. He has blessed us with the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit guides us and comforts us every second of our life.
Truly we can say with confidence that our prayers are being taken care of, and that the Holy Trinity will and has answered all our prayers according to the abundance of God's generosity and mercy.
Praise the Sacred Heart of Jesus! All honor and glory belongs to Christ forever and ever. Amen!

As you prepare to go to church today I want you to consider the following: Today someone wanted to go to church but because of their age they can no longer drive to church. No one is aware of their situation and so they are left feeling separated from the Church.
You can change that, by offering them a ride to church. You can also go to our website and print a copy of the prayers that we say, and bring it to them so that they can continue to be active in ministry. What better ministry than the ministry of prayer?

Where would we be without the Sacred Heart of Jesus? Imagine a life without Jesus? There are many out there who do not know Christ. That is why during our Morning and Evening Prayer we always ask that the Lord will send us out to share His love and message of salvation. So make sure that you are sharing Christ with others, and that when you walk away the thing they remember the most is the love that you gave them because of Christ.

This morning when I got up it was very cloudy and it looked like it was going to be a terrible day. Now I can see the sun coming out and the beautiful sunshine that we typically enjoy here in Florida is wining the battle.
Life can be like that also. Sometimes things look pretty bad, but in the end God saves the day and we emerge triumphant.
Thanks be to Christ Jesus that no matter what, we know in the end we will come out victorious. Praise the Holy Name of Jesus, blessed be His Sacred Heart!

Hello my friends! Here in Florida is a cloudy day. Looks like we will be getting a lot of rain today.
There are times when we get up and the day does not look so great, when life is not really cooperating, if you know what I mean. Those are the days that we need to pray even more fervently. This is also a time to remember that although the day may not look so good today, tomorrow is another day, so we place our hope in the Lord and look forward to a better time in the future.

How is your Lent coming around? Some people might find it hard to keep their Lenten sacrifice, but if you have, let me encourage you to get back up in the horse again. By that I mean, don't walk away disappointed, thinking that Jesus is not going to forgive you for it. Instead, ask the Lord to forgive you and start your Lenten sacrifice all over again, do it until you complete your forty days. Never give up!

It's already afternoon and Saturday is almost gone here in the state of Florida, USA. How I wish this was not so. Don't you wish sometimes that time stood still? Time can certainly be our enemy sometimes, but when we have Christ, time is nothing but a thing. For we know that Jesus is the master of time and that so long as we are with Him all things will fall into place at the right time.

Day two of Lent is almost over, only a few hours left. My Lenten sacrifice is still intact, as I am sure the sacrifice that you offered is still holding. However, let me encourage you to pray that you will be able to continue strong, so that you may come out of your 40 day journey stronger and more committed to Christ. Remember, it is not the what or the how of the sacrifice , but the why that matters. So focus on the Lord Christ.
I thank the Sacred Heart of Jesus for allowing me to come this far into this day. If it wasn't for Christ where would I be? God is so merciful, so loving, so generous.

As we close this day today on the first day of the season of Lent, let us bring to mind the great sacrifice that the Sacred Heart of Jesus endured for our sin. Also, having recognized our sinfulness and our need to be forgiven in order to remain in communion to Christ our Lord, let us resolve to repent of our sins daily.
Some times we worry about how little time we have and at how taking time to pray several times a day is going to cut down on our productivity. However, think about this: The time that you have was given to you by God. So doesn't it make sense that we should spend more time trying to figure out how to make better use of our time to build the Kingdom of our Lord, rather than on building our own kingdom?
