Inside C144: Recent Episodes

My film lit class is an elective English class. I approach film lit by using close reading strategies on literature and applying them to film. This class is focused on alien invasion and monster films, and the course theme is "What are we afraid of and why?"
For the final, students chose an alien invasion or monster film not viewed in class and had to prepare either a presentation for the class or a talk on the podcast. They had to be able discuss plot, characters, actors, and apply the source theme.
I hope you enjoy the segments from the kids who chose to sit for the podcast. This class is a lot of fun to teach and the final reveals the kid's varying interests.
