In this episode I will sit down with a Speech Pathologist, Pamela Davis who will share her professional expertise with us today. She will cover the linguistics area with regards to speech therapy and dialects, thus explain how many dialect are becoming extinct through the generations.
In this first episode we explain and give examples of how different as Americans we sound to one another. We begin to delve into the different parts of the country people are from. How we may mean the same things and can understand one another, but we may just pronounce them a little differently.
In this second episode I will be taking to the streets and stopping random people to ask them - where they are from. As you will discover some people are more open to the question then others, but the responses are quite entertaining to hear.
