The club currently play in the West Riding County Womens Football League and need just 5 more points from 3 matches, to go up.

Town finished their league two campaign for 2023/24 with the highest points tally since joining the EFL.
Sarah enthuses how off the field, the club is on the rise too.
The pitch at the EnviroVent stadium has been recognised as being excellent and the club is ranked as one of the friendliest in the league.
Sarah and the team now want to focus on increasing season ticket sales and await the return of Simon Weaver, who is currently on a short break, for the retained list to be released.

Zara's husband Tim is set to run in the Knaresborough Bed Race this June, in order to raise awareness of the condition, plus raise money for the charity too.

James Badger lost his wife Philippa in 2022, just 36 hours after being diagnosed with leukaemia.
Last year James cycled from Lands End to John O'Groats and that ride raised an incredible £200,000 towards his £300,000 target to fund a BloodCancerUK research project into Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML).
Now, along with two friends, he is hoping to reach his £300,000 target, and mark the second anniversary of Philippa’s death, by climbing the equivalent of Mount Everest on a bike.

Owner, Danielle Bartley, is a Mum of 3 and a previous foster carer who has had 28 children in total over the years.
Following a horrific collision, Danielle lost one of her arms and as a result of the trauma, couldn't conceive and so went through IVF which resulted in twins.
She also raised money for other people wishing to go on the IVF journey and ran a competition, resulting in one couple having a daughter and becoming life-long friends.

The route takes the floats around the border of where Ripon used to be, when it was a much smaller city.

The days starts in the morning at Knaresborough Castle where the teams gather, decorate their beds and don their fancy dress.
Judging of the ‘Best Dressed Bed’ starts at 10:30am and will be announced at around 12:30pm.
From 1pm, they parade through the town led by the winner of the Best Dressed Award and follow the route to Conyngham Hall field.
There, the decorations come off and the teams strip down to racing trim for the Race itself which sets off at 3pm.
Lions are a charity and are comprised of volunteers who give up their time to organise fundraising events and make donations to charities and worthy causes, mostly local...

Ian Adair is 32 and has begun, what he calls, "chasing the 6's" challenge.

Up until recently, he had never completed a triathlon and now he's about to set out on his third in as many weeks!
